How is anyone supposed to take the news seriously if it has these kind of low brow spam advertisements inserted as if they are valid? Couldn’t you find “real” local advertisers? Not that anyone want’s spam, but no real attempt to filter out nonsense has been made. Shame.
The obituary page has not been updated in over a week. This is a paid subscription. I expect the information to be updated daily, bare minimum.
App is a piece of garbage. Doesn't upgrade.
Also quite possible Gannet does not provide enough daily news. Truly not a local current news source.
Now you can read two paragraphs of a story and then it's blocked. Deleting SCTimes .
Sc Times is totally biased and garbage propaganda.
How can you call yourself a respectable news company when you have a "BUZZFEED" sponsored video right in the middle of your article listing? Congrats, more fake news. Enjoy your 1-star rating.
A login to view the news? I don't think so, Jim! I did give you one star for making something that actually loaded to the login ;-p
Horrible app! Don't bother! There's 10 other Minnesota news apps out there that don't make you login! And I'll bet THEY don't have the good folks in India making your newspaper ads like you do ;-)
Every time I try to read a story I can’t get the actual content. It appears as though it is trying to open all of the ads. Why don’t I have an option not to see the ads since I would never purchase any of that stupid stuff anyway? I just want a quick glance at the news stories. Soooooo frustrating Again with the stupid ads. I would even pay to not have the ads so I can read the news!!!!
Night mode is back! That is a nice feature. Still can't select local news. Just errors out. Only can view more news. The pop up ads are ridiculous. Every time I click on a story an ad pops up and takes over my radio due to audio. I pay for a subscription and understand image ads in middle of stories, etc. Ads with audio just annoy people and push them away.
The online sports section of the Times has only football coverage posted today even though a high holiday BB tournament was held during the school break. Why is that? Where is the archived coverage?
And, the delish picture has been the same (the tacos in a bowl) for months and months. Why is that?
I frequently find the e-edition has very little to offer in covering some local activities. I generally feel I don’t need to go to the site daily because there’s nothing to see here. I suspect you have very few writers and reporters due to budget cuts. The e-edition has been a disappointment.
It is just ok, you can't manage account well from a mobile device. Content pretty basic.
App used to cover most of what I needed to see, but latest update went backwards. What happened to USA news? Or state news? Now your only options are Top Stories (about as much help as Facebook's option there), Local, or by city.
Receive notification of breaking news, when I click on it doesn't even always bring up story. Go back to previous version please.
I finally adjusted to the new gui, but have one suggestion. The death notices need to be front and center. Sometimes they can be found through a search, sometimes they don't appear for days. If there are no deaths, please say so. Thank you.
Surprised that while login is required, SCTimes doesn't allow you to comment on stories. I was having trouble with image load times too.

Great app to stay up to date on St. Cloud Times news out of Minnesota
St. Cloud Times app is my source for fast, dependable Central MN news.
It's wonderful to still be able to read much of the news for free with SCTimes.
This is a great app for accessing the St. Cloud Times so as long as you are a subscriber, as I am. I think it's great that the Times is moving toward subscriber only access of their website and SCTimes.
