Contact Action Movie FX Support

I’m not blaming Bad Robot (nor Apple for that matter), but the march of iOS and hardware progress keeps killing off apps I enjoy. Now that I’ve upgraded to the latest greatest, my app collection is downsized once again, and this fun and quality app is among the victims of the most recent downsizing. At least some of the scenes malfunction (don’t display at all or bail to black before the end). I’m reluctant to invest in new apps because of this kind of stuff. My app collection just keeps shrinking. If Bad Robot hasn’t orphaned Action Movie, I’ll fix my review. Otherwise, the value of the platform as a whole just keeps shrinking for me. 😞

I really liked this app, so I made an in-app purchase to get more effects. I didn’t receive the new effects, so I tapped to buy them again (to see if it would solve the problem) and the program hung, with a message “Contacting App Store”). I left it alone for about a half hour, and it didn’t resolve. Every time I close the app and open it again, I get the same problem. I even deleted the app, and re-downloaded it to see if that would work. I also tried a cold reboot of my iPad. The problem still persists. I tried to contact support, to work through the problem directly with the company, but nothing happened (couldn’t even report the issue). After exhausting the other options available to me, I’m resorting to writing a negative review, which I rarely do. But if I pay money for an app, I expect it to at least work properly.

This app is okay. At first I loved this app but now it’s literally the same update every time about the stupid star wars thing and there are never new effects. I also feel like we should be able to import videoes from the camera roll or edit previous videos made. You should also be able to actually moce where the effect happens. Overall the app is okay. This is I think a couple months after I wrote this review and nothing has happened so idk why u guys won’t do anything abou this crap. Like why isn’t there an import video option. Also I think we should be able to move the placement of the effects better. You can only move it by making it bigger. Also u sho7ld allow front camera. Overall the app is now an eh.
