This feature has run flawlessly for several years. It has saved me countless hours driving to banks, standing in line, and all the other things that go with errands like this.

If all you want to do is check your balances and transfer funds then I’d rate it 5 stars - even though you already have those functions through SMS. I recently started using their budget/spending tools and would love to be able to access those features on mobile. If they can bring more functionality to MechanicsBank I’d increase my rating

I wish it would give you notifications for each time a transaction went through. My card was compromised and I caught the thieves by checking my balance everyday. Had I not I would’ve never noticed.

Although I have no problem with app once logged in I think login needs improvement. Why doesn’t app allow for fingerprint or Face ID for credentials?

It would be nice to have an easier way to do the debit card disputes. Sometimes it’s harder to call when traveling for work and being in areas that does not have good cell service. Being able to turn of the debit card card is a awesome feature, when miss placing card.

Simple, easy to use, and no nonsense. Everything you need is easy to locate and if you need anything that MechanicsBank doesn’t offer (which isn’t much) you can be easily redirected to the bank website

The Bank's app has been improving over the years and now seems flawless. My only suggestion...the email header for approved and declined deposits is the same, recommend you start the subject with DECLINED to make sure it's not missed.

it is nice being able to deposit a check from your house. but every time you try to deposit a check it asks you to take a look at the photo to ensure all the edges are visible, but the eff-ing banner they use to display this message is covering the bottom third of the picture of the check they want you to inspect! so you never get to see the whole picture, i don’t know if all my edges are showing, i just click accept and move on. wish someone would fix it so users can see their entire image of the check they are depositing. it’s enough for me to want to switch banks.

I really dislike the mobile application.
It’s not even giving a live status of your account.
Withdrawals appears days after the actual withdrawal.
3rd word banking system and lacking of online features.
Ridiculous that banking apps having that limited protection to access an account.

Love the new mechanics banking app, up to date & always gives you an updated amount of what you have in checking accounts

Extremely hard to log on from my other bank, they shut down my old bank app and was told that the mechanics bank app would be opened the following Monday, it was Friday, so all throughout the weekend I did not have access to my bank account during the first of the month, the worst time to be locked out of your bank account.

I have only had this bank account for about 5 years and have had to change apps 3 times. Each app has gotten worse then the Pat, and I seem to have more trouble each time I try and use it. I use another bank it’s app is superior in every way. I do not recommend this one at all

I've been using MechanicsBank since it's inception and have always been impressed by the ease of use. Each update makes banking easier each and every time. Thank you!

I think MechanicsBank is wonderful. It had a few hang ups at first a few years ago now. My self I moved about 18miles from closet branch. Now I don’t need to go into branch. Thanks

Was part of a bank merge and the old bank app was a lot smoother and easier to use. Had to modify multiple checks to do mobile deposit. Be advised if your check is not white or have white highlighted boxes they will not deposit for MechanicsBank . Had to use white out and make a white background and write the clients information.

Almost never does a check image go through without a prompt saying to look again ... there may be a problem ... Possibly these problems... etc.

There is never a problem with the check image. Deposits should take a fraction of the time. It's a clunky app in that regard.

They made it so you could zoom in on the photo of the check you’re depositing to see if the signatures and payee is clear (my eyesight isn’t the best anymore and I don’t want to fish for glasses every time...)

Since June 1st I have not been able to Download the new Mechanics Bank app. It takes me nowhere. I called for support with no results. I haven’t been able to do my payments. Seriously planning to change banks. It’s the 16th and just tried to apply MechanicsBank again and it just won’t take. This has been the worst experience ever.

Super annoying that every single check requires a second validation of some part of the photo that I have taken and already verified that I want to keep. Makes the process twice as slow.

Saves me a multitude of trips to town to deposit checks. I can keep an eye on my account wherever I am. Easy to use.

Mobile check deposit fails if the check has the dollar amount shown in the machine-readable line at the bottom of the check. Bank explained this problem to me so is aware of it. How about a fix??!?

MechanicsBank constantly shows me the wrong amount of money I have in my account. I have tried deleting MechanicsBank and reinstalling it, I’ve tried restarting my phone... and it’s still inaccurate!

My ask would be include a memo line for transfers.

This particular up from late January 2020 is bad. I’m not able to see my account details and the pages are loading very slowly.
