Used to work with my watch

I have used DailyWater for over a year, and it really has helped me to increase my water intake and to track it. I would have given it five stars, but after recent updates, there have been changes making it more cumbersome. My Apple Watch continues to remind me to drink water on the schedule I set up, but it no longer allows me to track easily from the watch. In the past I just touched the watch to show I drank a glass of water, and it would sync with my phone later. Now, when I touch the watch, a message pops up to open DailyWater on my phone to “allow it to sync.” This happens even when DailyWater is open on the phone but the screen is locked. I actually have to unlock my phone each time I want to track via the watch. This defeats the whole purpose of making it easier to track. I appreciate the reminder on my watch, but now I just track on my phone since I have to pick it up anyway. I’ll give it five stars when I’m able to use it as it originally worked.

Great tracking, but I wish it would show a count down

I love DailyWater for tracking how much water I am drinking - makes keeping track and making sure I am drinking enough much easier I’m busy everyday life. My only wish is that the notifications would count down how many you have left instead of how many you’ve had. I have notifications turned on, and the little red bubble pops up on my app. When I log a glass, the number goes up and then I have the little red bubble all day. I would rather see how many I have left to drink on the notification and get down to having the red bubble disappear once I have completed my daily goal. Just a personal preference, but I wish there was at least an option to set it up that way.

Amazing

I didn’t drink water much, I lived on coffee and soda. I downloaded DailyWater after googling ‘how to find motivation to drink more water’. It seems like a simple task to do, yet I was dehydrated and I didn’t even know. DailyWater motivates me to tap on the glasses to empty them. It’s been a week since I downloaded it and I drink a gallon of water per day. Again I was never a water person and now I can’t stand anything that has sugar in it, DailyWater changed my outlook on water, I also have pretty oily acne prone skin, and my face is pretty much clear and it’s only been a week! I also lost 5 pounds! I encourage anyone who struggles to find the time to drink water or can’t stand the taste, to try DailyWater. Once you get passed the stages of forcing yourself to drink water you won’t be able to stomach anything else.

Encouraging and amazing app

DailyWater has really changed my outlook on water completely. I would always never drink water unless that was the only option. I would always drink unhealthy sugary drinks like Snapple. The sugary drinks were not only unhealthy, it caused my skin to breakout all on my forehead. Before getting DailyWater , I would always try to drink water but I would always forget. This has helped with that reminding me everyday and every hour. It has really helped my acne it’s good that I’m not drinking too much sugary drinks now. Even though I’m only 12, this has helped so much in my confidence to show myself to the world without having to hate myself for having to much acne. This is an amazing app and I highly recommend it to everyone.

pointless but i still love it 🥰

ok so basically i don’t use DailyWater AT ALL but it does create some entertaining situations, FOR EXAMPLE whenever the little notification popped up on my phone and someone i knew saw it, they would throw a water bottle at me. did i drink it? of course not! but only bc of DailyWater did that happen, and that would decrease my boredom a bit for the time being. another reason that i gave it five stars is bc i could flex my notifications on my friends bc it gave me SO MANY notifications to drink water. i kid you not, every few minutes that little alert came up “iTs TiMe To dRiNk wAtEr” and i hated it, but i also kinda loved it. that’s what DailyWater does to me thank you for listening to my ted talk.

Useful app

I was looking for an app where I could track my water intake & have reminders on my watch & this does both. I set up reminders every hour from 8 AM to 8 PM and it has helped me to stay hydrated all day, whether I'm busy at work or out on the weekend. It also integrates with the health app which is nice if you're using other apps & want all your data together.

I do wish it would show total number of ounces drank per day, and that once you touch a cup & it drains it would require a prompt to undo if I accidentally tap it to re-fill again. That's just me going too fast if I've forgot to track a few cups though. Otherwise great app for what I need.

Perfect!

I love DailyWater! DailyWater has been perfect for keeping up with my water intake. Not only can you can set reminders on your phone for when to drink, but you can track your history, set a default drink size (how much you normally drink in one sitting), set a default glass size (how much water the cup/bottle that you’re drinking out of can hold), set a daily goal, and even change the unit of measurement to suit what you’re comfortable with. It can even transfer data to the Health app if you like to keep track of your overall health. DailyWater has made it so easy to make sure that I’m getting enough water, I haven’t been dehydrated since I downloaded it!

Really Grrrrrrrrrreat App !! 😁

This is a very easy app to use. I like that I can set the reminders for any time and they actually work. It has really assisted me in increasing/monitoring my daily water intake. I am very happy with DailyWater. If I were to improve it I would offer various types of reminders such as music or different tones etc. I would also offer a choice of backgrounds - just to funk it Up a bit & give more choices. It is such an amazing app that I’m ALWAYS telling others about it & encouraging them to use it. Keep up the good work & improvements !!

Read on for my 3* explanation

Admittedly I have never used DailyWater as a yet, but upon looking at the reviews that has been submitted it bothers me that the developers have not bother to respond to the one’s having problems with DailyWater … WHERE ARE THE DEVELOPERS responses??
It makes me think that they do not care. They offer DailyWater , you download DailyWater , then you have DailyWater , ALL of itWhere you check on the problems but you can’t get any help with getting it fixed. Sorry, not sorry, that’s just the way I feel. That is NOT the way it supposed to be. I may change my opinion of DailyWater, but it all comes down to this: the developers regulate how many stars I give there app as to their support that they show. No support, no stars. PERIOD.

Simple, but great!

I have recently been diagnosed with health problems. Many of my doctors have prescribed greater water intake and eliminate soda pop. The amount of water I am required to consume over the course of a day is a large amount to me. I tried to keep track of the amount in my head, but often forget how much I’ve consumed. I looked at several different apps for my iPhone only to feel they have too many features. I don’t need cloud storage when it is all here on my iPhone. This little app is perfect for my needs. It’s simple, configurable, handy, and very dependable. So glad I found it.

Extraordinary APP!!!

I had googled a way to find some sort of motivation on drinking water as I lived on coffee.
I came across DailyWater. As soon as I open my phone to call or text I see DailyWater reminding me I have only had 2 of 8 glasses (or whatever the case may be). Within a week I have noticed a change on my face (this is no lie people and it’s no commercial, I swear) it’s brighter, shinier, I’m constantly using the bathroom (sorry if this offended anyone) I noticed a weight change, I’m assuming it’s because I’m constantly feeling full. I am sooooo loving this reminder that I’m failing myself when I don’t keep up.

Tracking water intake is a great tool

I just started using DailyWater last week and I’m already seeing results. DailyWater is great and very easy to use. I really like the sound effects. I love the charts and the ability to share your progress on social media or email if you want.
I went from 0 to 2 glasses a day. Now with DailyWater I am averaging 3 to 4 a day. Once I did 8.
Drinking more water really made a huge difference in my overall energy level. I think I’ve been basically walking around dehydrated for years. This is a great reminder of our need to drink water daily.

Thank you!! I'm feeling better!

I Love DailyWater; it does what it promises and it's customizable! I eat fairly healthy and know my body but simply haven't been drinking enough water! Although, I didn't realize why I was getting so constipated until I began using water apps. You know the saying out of sight out of mind... DailyWater helps me set water goals for better discipline! I can go back and fill in what forgot or adjust for partial bottles that I drank! DailyWater is one of the better ones because, it's well put together yet simple to use and free! Thank you!!

Helpful

If I get busy I forget to drink water, get dehydrated and then develop bad headaches. I downloaded DailyWater to help me track my water intake and stay hydrated.

It’s helping me stay on track.

The only thing I don’t like is the feedback after I log my water that say, the info was sent to my iPhone health tracking app. I would prefer to not get the message each and every time. I know the info is being sent. I don’t need the reminder each time. It slows me down to enter my water intake to click on the message “okay” each time.

This App Has Helped Me Drink More Water

I have never been much of a water drinker. Recently, I moved to a very dry area of the country and found I was regularly dehydrated. I had to learn to drink more water for my skin, as well as my physical well-being and mental well-being.

The customizable reminders work well. They tie into my Apple Watch, too. And I rather enjoy the ‘slurping, aaahhhh’ sound as I click on each water glass once I drink it! You can select how many glasses a day and how many ounces per glass. Then it is all automatically tracked and charted.

So Far So Good

I have been you using this for about a week. I need to help remind me to drink more water. I try to come couple other ones and did not like them because the ads that they allowed were SUPER annoying and in your face which was a turn off for me. I understand if DailyWater is free that ads will pop up because they’re trying to make money that way but DailyWater does it in the right subtle way.
I recommend this to anyone who like me is looking for help in remembering to drink more water.

Works like a charm!

There is something extremely satisfying (and borderline addicting) about being able to click on a glass of water and see it empty to symbolize what you just drank. Sound effects make it even better. Feels like a game. The notification # telling me how many glasses I drank already also helps a lot. It not only reminds me how many glasses I have left, but on good days, also how many glasses I’ve surpassed, which is always an awesome feeling!

Love that it counts down how much more I need to drink 4 the day 😊

This is the only water 💦 app I found that counts down how much more water 💦 one needs to drink, b4 the end of the day.
The only thing I would like to see, is where you hit the glass of water 💦 you’ve just drank. That it showed 1 cup, ½ cup and 1/4 cup. Where you don’t have to keep going back into settings each time, to change the amount of water 💦 in take. It’s already there to choose from.
Other than that, I love DailyWater.

Just Love This App

My doctor told me I was dehydrated and needed more fluids especially water. DailyWater lets me know at a glance where I am in my water consumption and keeps me motivated to drink more water. I’m amazed at how much better I feel with drinking water. I’ve used it got five days and have told family and friends how it helps with managing your water intake. Feel confident my doctor will be pleased when my labs are repeated. Does DailyWater sync with my Apple Watch of Fitness Pal?

Very useful

Hi Developer, I want to thank you for making DailyWater, it helped me a lot. I am the type that don’t drink enough water, and I was desperate to find a way to change my bad habit...I started to count how many ounces I consume during the day but I lose count until I found your app and started using it. It’s great that I can choose different settings, I especially like the 1/4 cup setting, and it had a timer to remind me. Thanks again!!

It WAS a great app!

It was great & the best I found for my purposes, but the full page ads when you open DailyWater are almost seal breakers for me! In your face ads are a big turn-off, & it is VERY annoying to have to wait for the ad to finish loading just to get to DailyWater .
Yes, you have an option to watch a video to get rid of the ads, but it doesn’t work! No video shows up!
DailyWater also indicates there is a “full version” available, but there is no way to access that.
Because this is the best for my purposes, I will continue to use it, however, you will never get more than a 1 star rating from me until you drop the full page ads!
