Except for electronics and some clothes, many of my purchases are on ML. For those who complain it’s not in English, stop whining and get a translating extension for your browser. It’s for Latin America so you should expect Spanish. 🤪

They locked me out of my account and the number they are using to verify is an old number from years ago back when I first started using them. I changed the number, you can see that it is changed in Mercado libre but when I go to checkout and it wants to verify it used the phone from years ago. No way to contact them to have them help fix this. Rendered my account useless. Can’t sign up for a new one because I already have the existing one with my passport number

I absolutely dislike the changes done to the Q&A section. It looks worse than a government form. It’s imperative for us buyers to see all and every question posed to the buyer. It definitely helps to get information and feedback when deciding a purchase. this app gets a thumbs down on their “new format” throughout. Extremely generic and lackluster :(

be careful with MercadoLibre, I don't know if the management has changed but if you are not aware, the refunds may be lost in the process, MercadoLibre don't protect the costumer neither the seller, and i don't know what is happening lately, but it automatically says that it has send you the item, but two days after that it says that there was an error with the delivery, we will send you the refund, and you have to wait 28 days for that

I would give MercadoLibre zero stars if it was possible. I have only used MercadoLibre twice and I have been scammed both times and I couldn’t report it because their app and website is so confusing. After hours of research, I could not find a way to get help for my situations. They say that they protect the sellers and the buyers but it is a total lie. And I can’t find a way to contact them by email or WhatsApp for the life of me.

It’s a nice place to shop but it would be great to have the option to see it all in English. Like having a translation button you can hit so you can know exactly what every thing is and be able to find things that you’re looking for a lot easier. Thanks

I and my family always buy through Mercado Livre. In Brazil their delivery and punctuality are top. Very trustworthy and reliable.

No English language support, apparently. Would be an even better app if it offered that for travelers. Also, no option to use passports for identification? Seems that you must use only state identification. Hoping they will make changes.

If you ever get a response from ML regarding a fraud you were a victim of (I was of 3 in Brazil) or harassment from a buyer or even buys who buy your stuff and reform it damaged or with missing pieces for full reimbursement it will be a miracle. Even if you try to reach them from another complaint, they will simply despise you. Don’t lose your money here

I would like to know how I can change the language to ENGLISH NOT SPANISH. I was born in Utah grew up there. Now that I am retire living here in Mexico, I would like some apps to give you the option to change languages. Because I can’t read Spanish, but I sure like to shop,shopping thank you

Do not buy from this company. They claim ‘Free Returns’. I received a portable ice maker that did not work from first day. I sent many requests to return the defective item with no response from Mercado Libre. I paid $20,000 pesos for a defective item and am unable to return it. An expensive lesson. I will never buy from this company again. You are warned.

Clicking the filter button is enough for the application to crash. This type of bug is unacceptable in this type of application. This is not the first time that I see this here. Some versions ago this also happened.

Paid cash for an expensive item, they sent the wrong item. In order to have it replaced they asked for a photo of my passport, my CURP number, 2 photos of me taken with MercadoLibre for facial recognition, and remote access of my phone. This seems extreme and I felt violated.

Wonderful app, great interface, great customer service and a large variety with great prices.

Bugged app asking for login everytime i open it

The interface is clunky. I received a answer from a question. The answer clarified I got the wrong product and added a new link. I can’t copy the link from MercadoLibre , so I have to go to the site, copy the answer, paste it, click again to re open on MercadoLibre . UX -100

I buy items to my family from Mercado Libre. Is there an app from USA. I need to wright my information from the USA.

So difficult to pay for items. The charges show pending and approved on my credit card but I keep getting messages that my transaction is not complete, please enter another form of payment! I try my debit card, no luck!

I bought a product, MercadoLibre says it is been delivered but I haven’t received it yet. When I try to fill a complaint, MercadoLibre redirects me to the web browser, and when I try to complain in the web site it redirects me to MercadoLibre ... And MercadoLibre keeps loading forever... When I finally get to the page to fill the complaint I realize it is just a message to be sent to the seller, not for the this app. So they will not check where the product got lost, they just want me to keep arguing with the seller “I didn’t receive it” and they “we already sent it”?!?

It is hard to sell your items. First, when a person contacts you using MercadoLibre, you can only reply once. It is hard to keep the communication going to close the sale.

If you post some contact information, MercadoLibre will block your reply. You will not be able to write a possible buyer again. If like saying, use our useless app because we will not let you communicate another way.

Latin America is not like the USA, where we have many app options to sell our items. It seems the only option here is this app, but they make it very hard to sell anything.

I see that lots of people lose their sells because of this application.

Posting is hard. It's not a smooth task. Foreigners cannot sell unless they have local documents like a cedula.

Would be nice if MercadoLibre was for an iPad too.. having to use it as for an iPhone is bothersome.. the text is small, annoying to not be able to have it adjust to the screen orientation.. small things, but I love shopping and this makes it harder and less likely

There are too many annoying push notification ads for sales I never signed up for — and there’s no way to selectively choose which push notifications you want to receive, so I rather just uninstall MercadoLibre .

Easy app to work

Very simple and complete.
Yet text is very fine, so it’s hard to read even with reading glasses.
Lacks Support, no way to communicate my problem with App.

They don’t deserve not even one star. I am seller with more than 700% positive feedback in ebay.
I had issues with buyers were I lost money. Closed my account because Mercado Libre sided with the fraudulent buyer.
If I could file a lawsuit I would but in Argentina they work like a conspiracy. I had a horrible experience.

Looks like MercadoLibre doesn’t have control of whats going in with the products. Not a good idea to have MercadoLibre if it doesn’t work. Is any one doing anything to correct that sort of stuff from happening? How could I be sure that this sort of stuff won’t happen to me?

After the update I am no longer able to answer the questions from my customers (those who already have bought, not only asking about products informations)

After change the reputation system, simply put me like as I had some problems with my sales!! Unbelievable I never had any complaints or problems with negotiating buying or selling anything!!! Where is the channel to talk with them to solve problems?? Doesn’t exist!

The description The seller writes gets cut off in MercadoLibre (it probably has a character limit), prompting buyers to keep asking questions that have detailed answers in the desktop version of the description.
An embarrassment of an app and buggy all around

Unbelievable, No native iPad App.
It’s just horrible to use this on the biggest “handheld” iDevice being force to put up with the “iPhone” interface!
A really underwhelming experience.

I’m Hispanic so reading it is not an issue but I live in the US and there is no option to put in US shipping information. Just gives options to put other countries. Hopefully this changes with an update soon.

I wish they make MercadoLibre completely compatible with iPads screen resolution, because it is very uncomfortable to resize MercadoLibre having those annoying black vessels while you are using it...
