Hi, the edition is failing to download so only readable when I have an internet connection - no good if travelling on the tube. Please advise, thanks.

I have an iPad Air (Model Number ME898B/A) running software version 12.5.7 and I have frequent and repeated connection problems with messages telling me I’m not connected to the internet which is simply not true. I have a strong, reliable, fast broadband connection. It’s making reading Guardian Editions a nightmare and I’all cancel my subscription unless things improve. I’ve reported the problem but no solution has been given and I get the impression that the customer support people have lost interest.

In the last month or so it has become increasingly frustrating to read the online Guardian. It takes 10 seconds at least to be able to turn a page or scroll up and down. I’ve been a subscriber for many years and it never used to be like this. Please fix it or I shall cancel my subscription - the increasingly strident (woke?) journalism might make me do that anyway.

Scrolling speed and page changes on ipad are incredibly slow. I have good wifi, updated software, a one year old ipad and ample capacity. Ive been subscribing for years and this never happened until about a year or so ago. What can be done? Its a difficult reaging experience

App allows quick access to each article, but will not allow scrolling (vertically or horizontally) for several seconds. No other magazine or newspaper I use does this. Many others with same complaint, why haven’t you fixed this.

Scrolling to turn the page - or scroll up and down - on iPad has become very slow. I often have to wait several seconds before I can ‘turn’ the page. This doesn’t happen on other apps so it’s not my iPad. I’m on the verge of cancelling my subscription it’s so frustrating. It used not to be like this.

iPad Air (5th gen), iOS 16.3.1: scrolling is impossibly slow and inconsistent when using Guardian Editions. Guardian Live World News behaves impeccably. All other apps work fine.

It changes very slowly from from one day to a previous day. The settings state that only 17.3 Gbyte of the 128 Gbyte memory is used. It can also be slow when moving from one section to another or from an article to the menu. The app on my Android phone does not have the same problem.

Super slow . Page eventually loads and I have to wait before it will scroll up and down and then again side to side. I fin myself stabbing repeatedly at the screen in frustration. It did not used to be like this. I don’t know how much longer I can bear it, I want to read the paper quickly in the morning. IPadOS 16.3.1

Exactly same issue as above Nearly always very slow to scroll vertically and horizontally, taking several seconds. Sometimes a long wait for each day’s new edition. Sometimes blank pages when scrolling or have to scroll twice for the next page to appear. Been like this since the new app was introduced and on two different iPads.

Nearly always very slow to scroll vertically and horizontally, taking several seconds. Sometimes a long wait for each day’s new edition. Sometimes blank pages when scrolling. These problems appear on both of two iPads in our household, one is iPad Air 3rd gen., the other iPad 6th generation. Both had IOS 15, but the problems we experienced were so bad I have tried installing the public beta of IOS 16. The Guardian editions app is just as bad on both tablets still. However on my iPhone X S Max (also using the beta IOS 16) the app works well and scrolls quickly. We have high speed internet ftttp, wifi is fast. The internet works fine with other apps.

Editions downloads OK, articles will not open, blank page. Android app, works great on my IOS.
