Pathetic App

For three years I have tried to use this app. I try it, wait a few months expecting it will be fixed, and get disappointed again. I changed my email address but have never been able to make the change in this app. Good passwords should ideally be long, complex, and should be stored in an encrypted database where they are unknown to the account owner. That makes it necessary to be able to paste in the password. This app does not allow that. This app keeps requiring the VIN number. It could be encrypted and stored on my phone. No it can’t do that.
I love my CX-5. I love the dealership which services my car. This app should be able to make appointments and allow annotation of essential information.
The only use this app seems to be able to accomplish is to be an ad for cars.
As apps go, this one remains totally pathetic.

When we walked into the Mazda dealership they asked what features I wanted in a car and I replied that the only thing I must have in a car is autostart. With an infant and toddler who cannot wear winter jackets in the car autostart is non negotiable and I wont even look at a car that I can’t have that in. Knowing how important that feature was, we let the salesman talk us into the app (which is way more money) that he raved about, instead of the remote. Well, this app is horrible and never works, so there goes THE ONLY FEATURE I NEEDED IN A CAR. Too bad too, because I love my CX-9, but based on that experience alone and now not being able to ever use my auto start we definitely wont be getting another Mazda. It’s going to be a long 3 years because I’m already counting down these cold winter days until it goes back.

Unbelievably bad app! :-(

This app is not representative of the Mazda automobile. Unlike the car, it's pretty bad! The app sometimes loses the owner information and you have to reenter it. To use the maintenance schedule you have to open the "Owners" section FIRST. And most of the time the maintenance schedule crashes. There have been at least 3 updates since I installed the app and none of them has fixed this problem. The app updates simply state that there have been "minor bug fixes". I wonder what in the world are they fixing because the same problems continue. If you read the previous reviews, you will see some of the same comments. At some point, I'll probably just uninstall this app. For now, I'll keep it in hopes that the developers will fix the problems...but I doubt it.
