No phone customer support during covid-19.
Booked a vacation through them for $1,400 back in February, which was immediately charged from my credit card. In March, the hotel & country of travel shut down. Few weeks ago, AA Airlines have cancelled the flight. Have been trying to reach them via phone, email, no response for almost 2 weeks. Was able to call Marriott corporate to check if my reservation exists, they said it has been cancelled several days ago. When asked about the refund, they told me that the reservation was never paid for, it was just a reservation room hold, to be paid upon arrival.
Now I list $1,400, lost my vacation and can’t reach travelzoo for multiple weeks! They are holding on to my money, never actually paid the hotel (even though they charged me the first day). Scam! Beware!

I have booked vacations through TravelZoo and had the most picture perfect dream vacations. In fact, I tell everyone I know to book through TravelZoo. Most recently, TravelZoo gave my Italy trip to Great Value Vacations to handle, and the experience was so poor that I am very apprehensive to book my next trip through TravelZoo again. I fear they may mismanage the trip by trusting a similar third party. Great Value Vacations Travel Agency was rude, argumentative, limited in trip activity options, and housed us in hotels remote from our trip destinations that were in unsafe neighborhoods, and full of black mold. They provided zero transportation options for my stay in a foreign country. I am hoping that TravelZoo can right the wrongs and help us return to our phenomenal vacation experiences.

I was pretty excited about Travel Zoo about 4 years ago. However, overtime I’m beginning to see these aren’t deals, at least anymore. Off season travel is always cheaper and, while in a convenient package, much of the corners Travel Zoo cuts to get the saving significantly impact your vacation, including crappy extensive travel times, like taking a slow uncomfortable ferry in Greece that’s takes an entire day versus a more high speed option to not waste an ENTIRE vacation day. Needless to say, I’m not impressed and think with minimal effort I could plan a trip just as cheap and better.

I recommend TravelZoo ever time I talk with woodbe travelers. It a great time saver for You researcher types and penny pinchers all while getting a first class deal. Travel more on less using the site. No small print to worry about as they are upfront with you and no surprise at the end. Have fun and see the world.

Hired Steve Unser to update my kitchen cabinets that were 22 years old
Great choice....the solid wood cabinets with soft close doors and drawers are fantastic. The quality of workmanship was superb
Tim, Rich, and Sharon were very orderly and punctual with start dates and getting appliances arranged and delivered
Would use them again if needed

Thanks to Travel Zoo, we were able to turn $149 per night into a thoroughly enjoyed stay with great customer service. Amazing to stay at a high-end Hilton property with the package that included free parking (a $70 value) and a breakfast voucher for $30 pp. Geez.... it was the equivalent of staying in great downtown hotel in Chicago for $49. #LoveTravelZoo

We had lunch/brunch on the covered patio. Kyle was our server. The food and unlimited mimosas were delicious. Definitely recommend the ahi appetizer, creme brulee french toast and chopped salad with chicken. People near us had amazing looking burgers and chicken and waffles. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back for Saturday lunch, hopefully for dinner.

I have used travelzoo for a few years now and i love the deals! I wish my budget would fit them all!
I just wish there would be sorting features, such percent off or low price to high... again i love the purpose, and the deals. I just wish more filters for the site.

I’ve only been using TravelzooHotelTravelDeals for a very short time but I will tell you this much you’re never sure of things to do your girlfriend your wife will always think your top dog because you’ll know exactly where to go what to do with the deals are

I liked the site before the virus but during the virus, when everyone else locked everything down, Travelzoo made us armchair travelers. There is a scripture that says without a vision the people perish. You all gave us an opportunity to plan for “after” instead of statistics.

If there’s a better travel app for finding great deals, I haven’t found it. This is where I find deals for the hottest new hotels or secret finds for older ones. I do not know where they get their deals but I’m glad they share with me. An example of a killer purchase was for four season Oahu when it newly opened a year ago. Thanks, Travelzoo!

Since my wife and I found travelzoo we have taken advantage of several trips. We have experience places we never dreamed of at great rates. I look at the top twenty almost every week just to see what might pop up. Never had a bad experience with their deals. Love it.

After looking and traveling to several destinations, my wife and I have had ZERO problems with Travelzoo. Well that’s not entirely true. I recently purchased a few vouchers for hotel and spa accommodations but had to cancel due to unfortunate circumstances. The hotel room was refundable but the spa services were not as from what I read in the fine print. When I contacted travel zoo to see if there was any possibility they not only took care of me but also offered condolences throughout my experience with multiple reps.
