CLC Lodging Hotel Locator Reviews

Extended stay America in Jacksonville,Florida is not an ideal location to stay at coming from a CLC member, and it is not okay to display it as an option on CLCLodgingHotelLocator. This hotel does not provide receipts to CLC members and have no record of my multiple stays. CLCLodgingHotelLocator continues to only provide me with only this hotel and Days Inn as options... when CLC has contracts with other hotels in the Jacksonville area. Why don't you just display ALL CLC accepted options, especially if CLCLodgingHotelLocator doesn’t allow you to book it? Especially if the public is already aware of the other options CLCLodgingHotelLocator doesn’t provide! This will promote more members to use CLCLodgingHotelLocator because it will help us pick by price location and stars, all things every member considers when traveling.

Yet again I pick a hotel with a 7 star rating and it’s either low income housing or transient quarters with a few select rooms dedicated to CLC. Third time in month I was awakened in middle of night because my truck alarm went off when someone tried to break in. I now check other sources for hotel ratings.

I was told by CLC that hotel management sends in pictures in order to get rating from CLC staff.

I also had a CLC rep do a street view of a hotel and tell me that “it looks safe”. I explained that I needed a new hotel because of a drug bust and prostitution bust in progress. 7 stars means nothing

I’ve been a CLC member for about six months now, and a lot of times it will list chain hotels that are sub par. I’ve been awaken in the middle of the night by mice. Given I’m a trucker and have to stop at times to be in compliance with driving regulations, I rely on CLCLodgingHotelLocator to find me a hotel and on several occasions it simply hasn’t worked. I’ll be in the lobby of a hotel that’s an affiliate and CLCLodgingHotelLocator won’t bring up the hotel so I can check the price or rating of the hotel. Then I’ll receive the bill with the rate higher than what the hotel was offering independently.

CLCLodgingHotelLocator just keeps getting worse! I can’t even book a hotel through CLCLodgingHotelLocator . I’ve contacted customer service and they say that Rt are aware of the issues but instead of fixing the issues they have made CLCLodgingHotelLocator completely useless!!!!!

The new update crashes every time I try to go to favorites (iPhone iOS 13)

Now the favorites and reservation tabs are gone. CLCLodgingHotelLocator just seems to get worse and less user friendly.

There is no information when looking for a room. Would be nice if you knew what room you were looking at and what the hotel offers. I use to book directly on the hotel app and now I am forced to use CLCLodgingHotelLocator and card. I no longer get points or any benefit to using CLCLodgingHotelLocator. I don’t see any benefits or reason to book any hotel through this CLC app. I’m so disappointed with all this CLC stuff that I don’t want to travel for my job anymore.

We can only see about a 16th of the hotels available to us, which makes it difficult when trying to get a reservation.
I’m under the impression they think we can see what they are looking at, which is far from the truth.
I’ve been trying to get a room since midnight last night and it’s now 7:00 a.m. it’s time to go back to work and I haven’t had a bit of rest and been riding around Seattle all night waiting for them to find me a room.
I know they are doing what they can d but if we really knew who they had a contract with, we could assist with checking places ourselves.
But I guess that’s just not the way it’s supposed to be.

Last night I stayed in Modesto, I made the reservation, was confirmed, and showed up. Not only were there no vacancies, but my reservation was for the night before. I went ahead and made another reservation and had trouble because it said I had a duplicate reservation. I was finally able to do the request at 8 pm, didn’t get confirmed until 11pm. I hear from co-workers and hotel clerks that there is always issues with CLCLodgingHotelLocator.

What’s the point of requesting a bottom floor every time I book a room, then when I get there, sorry no bottom floor! I specifically asked for a bottom floor and this CLC can’t call and request that? I stay I motels through CLCLodgingHotelLocator 80% of the year. It must be to hard for them to make a freaking phone call for a bottom floor room. Will just start booking through my Credit card instead.

Since new update I cant write in the “Notes” section which is very annoying. A lot of hotels shown dont even take CLC nor does some staff even know what CLC is. Plus so many hotels are doing INCIDENTAL FEES for the drivers and not the company. Make the CLC take the incidentals not the driver. Some incidental fees go up to $175. With $50 commonly. They need to post that on the hotel tab so us drivers can know. You can submit a reservation and they wont even know they got it nor use the reservation. When you get there they’ll do the WHOLE ENTIRE PROCESS all over again. CLC needs a lot of work. Also I’ve used CLC for 4 years now constantly. So I understand it a lot. A lot of hotels are stopping having buisness with CLC because they find it a headache. CLC you got a lot of work to do.

Would often get charged a surprised rate after check out by clc. The hotel says one rate clc bills you another.
I got busy with family issues for a while and I could not travel. Wanted a not so nominal fee to keep active. Price of a hotel room in fees just to keep it after a few months of being inactive. Every so often it is nice but get ready got surprise charges and higher rates than advertised.

I don’t like that you could no longer view prices as everything I went and looked at had no costs like they did previously. Having to request and book it first before you see the cost is terrible. There was a new update so I was excited hoping they made improvements and after the update CLCLodgingHotelLocator immediately shuts down. Just terrible.

When trying to change location CLCLodgingHotelLocator crashes and a new login is required. It takes several attempts to get it to work. Also customer service is very difficult to get in touch with anyone for assistance.

I just found CLCLodgingHotelLocator because I was in a bind and my usual hotels were all booked up. So I’m thankful for CLCLodgingHotelLocator , my only issue is, after further investigation, it seems CLCLodgingHotelLocator does not have any of the usual locations I stay at listed. Makes me wonder how many others are not listed that may be closer to where I need to be the next day?

I agree with other reviewers, it would be great to submit a review on particular hotels and to review hotel photos on CLCLodgingHotelLocator . To read reviews and view the property now I have to locate the hotel by doing a google search first, reading others comments, and then contacting the hotel for a room. An update a month ago to the application has caused it to crash each time I try to open a saved hotel in my favorites list. Upon contacting the developer I was told it was connected to using CLCLodgingHotelLocator on my Apple phone. Please improve our experience.

I use CLCLodgingHotelLocator rather than having to go & open up a spreadsheet which is nice. To step it up, it would be great to book using CLCLodgingHotelLocator without having to call the hotel. I already put in the days I’m going to stay. Please work toward this.

I have been a CLC user since before smartphones. It’s so much nicer than it was back then to find hotels that participate in the program. The one thing CLCLodgingHotelLocator needs, to be able to book through CLCLodgingHotelLocator instead of having to call the hotel. Other hotel apps like Concur, Expedia, etc all have this functionality. I can’t believe it would be too difficult. Other than that, I have no issues. The other issues I’ve had through the years are with relationships between individual hotels and CLC. That’s gotten better through the years but still a sticking point. I’ve gotten used to that.

Very handy to use. App keeps getting better as they update it and add features.

Would be nice if they could add a provision so we could leave reviews of various hotels. In particular, quite a few hotels list truck parking, but their idea of truck parking and what a professional driver considers truck parking can differ.

I just updated CLCLodgingHotelLocator today it is nice now it not kicking me out every 5 sec but now when I put a filter option I can get in and Choose my options but then I can’t get back out would you please fix this

This is a good app. I use at least three times a week. I agree with one of the other reviews, it would be nice to leave reviews of the hotel/motel. There have been a few times when I called the hotel and asked about their “big truck” parking I’m told they have it. I get to the hotel and they only have room for one “big truck” and it’s already taken.

Never had a problem with CLCLodgingHotelLocator . I agree it would be nice to be able to book online with CLC, but that is probably a hotel issue. A lot of hotels won’t take a reservation over the phone with CLC.

But CLCLodgingHotelLocator itself is great and easy to use.

You get the worst rooms at the worst hotels. Why? Because they skim off $20-$30 per room per night or 20-40% at basic hotels (e.g. Comfort Inn, La Quinta, etc). This means that you often get rooms with no amenities (microwave, fridge) and hotel owners may treat you with disdain. Small hotels cannot properly maintain their facilities on this reduced income thereby making your stay even more miserable. Call the hotel directly and help save a small business.

I agree with other reviews that the list of Hotels could be larger. Also better photos and reviews as I stayed at a Hotel that was not really one I would have picked had I known more as it had no lighting, very rundown, broken down cars abandoned in the parking lot etc bad choice. Need to update the dial to get your dates to a calendar like all other lodging apps

The mobile app doesn’t have any admin tools. Can’t look at CLC Catds, can’t run any reports and see where your travelers are, can’t look at hotels. And yes there are many, many problems with hotels AND CLC after normal working hours. It’s like the night shift just falls apart along with CLC and their otherwise quality service and support after 5PM.

You’ve got work to do CLC.

I guess you can say it will show you which hotels participate in CLC but that’s as far as it goes. I would like to be able to book your room from CLCLodgingHotelLocator. Or filter specific hotel chains in the area your staying. Also keeps crashing on me when I scroll to the map.

I had the same issue after the update of CLCLodgingHotelLocator not loading but if you uninstall CLCLodgingHotelLocator and reinstall it works fine and fixes this issue

App is now the best it’s ever been. Fully functional and automated. Can now search by city, compare locations and prices directly and make a reservation directly from within CLCLodgingHotelLocator . Very nice!
