Overall decent app, but comes up short and needs some work. At first, I really liked it. I like that I can categorize and sort my files by different criteria, and I love that I can back up my files on the cloud (this was the biggest issue with the previous app I used, since I lost a ton of stuff when my phone was stolen). However, I set up a “decoy password” so that someone could log in and only see what is in that vault, but the items in cloud storage on the main vault still appear in that vault, which defeats the purpose for hiding them in the first place. Also, GIF files do not show an animated preview, only a still shot of the beginning of the GIF. The cloud not remaining hidden puts it on par with the previous app I used, with the bonus of more sorting options, but the cloud was one of the big reasons I selected SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos. Between that and not being able to view GIFs, I’m going to have to seek out another app or go back to the one I was using before.

Awesome app for backing up and protecting files and pics you don’t want others to see. I especially enjoy the filters it has to allow me to organize my photos by size (and other options) so that I can go through them and delete any unwanted duplicates.
The only feature that is not available that I would’ve liked to see is when selecting photos from my camera roll that I can drag my finger to select instead of tapping each photo. With a large amount of photos, this could be time consuming and monotonous.

I use SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos to hide photos. I have purchased the full version and have had it for close to two years I’d expect. Lately tho when I try to hide photos it won’t pull them in. It acts like it is and has the bar counting up but then it disappears and there is nothing there. Also if I try to export the photos it won’t allow me to save them back to my phone and if I try to send them in a text, it just shows a file but won’t allow the person to open it or for me to see the pic full view on my end.. I have tried exiting out, restarting phone, multiple things and can’t seem to get it to work. I tried to email but it gave me an error said no email can be sent?? I’m pretty bummed out and liked having all my naughty photos in one place.. but now I guess I’ll have to purchase a different one and save them there.

I like SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos to protect my information (does a really good job) however, there needs to be a search option inside of each created file (currently it is only available at the folder level). So every time I drill down into a file I have to keep scrolling down (to what feels like forever) to find the data I'm looking for. Please include a search option for those who create several files WITHIN a folder.

Also, the page breaks are out of control after editing/saving. Whenever you create a new line of information it gets spaced as if you inserted a page break after you edit/save. No good.

Please consider these areas of improvement so I can get the most out of SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos. Thanks!

I have SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos and the My Disk app I started with the My Disk app and have hundreds of pictures on it then started using SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos. But with the My Disk after the update it won’t open it said you had to update it. I didn’t know are I would have transferred all the pictures to SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos. So if SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos isn’t updated I lost all the pictures in the My Disk that I was using your app so keep my pictures. Please update it so I can transfer my pictures to SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos. Are do you know how I can get my pictures out of it? Thanks

I'm well pleased with SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos! There are some many ways to import and export items between devices. My former password keeper worked fine until I upgraded to a new phone; it had no capacity to export my data.
I dreaded having to re-type all that info, SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos as mentioned above saved me a Lot of time and trouble.

This is fairly easy to use with a bit of exploring and it's really has great features too: photo, voice memos you name it this is really a good app & great buy. 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽🙂🙂🙂

I downloaded this a year or two ago, so I forgot that I had it. Going through some storage deletion process, I noticed SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos had some space occupied in my phone. That’s when I went to SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos and noticed that I didn’t recognize it earlier because of the icon change. Once I opened SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos , I had an issue with remembering my password but, it was easily recovered. And to my surprise, there everything was. I forgot about all the stuff that I had put in it. Glad I was able to recover my hidden data I stored away.

This is a great app, but has three major bugs remaining as of 1/1/18:
1. In the list view of a folder, the icons are not on the left margin, they are under the file names, making the names hard to read and the icons hard to see.
2. The volume slider does not work. Volume can only be changed via the iPad volume buttons. When the buttons are used the screen slider will jump to and follow the actual volume.
3. Sometimes SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos closes, but leaves the last image up when the programs in memory view is done (double tap of the home button). The last screen view should always be gone. (Or preferably, see wish list item #2.)

Wish list:
1. Bring back the calculator front end as an option; it was actually useful!
2. When closed, SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos should completely leave memory, i.e., a double tap of the home button should not show SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos dormant in memory.
3. Add a “Play all” button to allow all videos or audio files to play sequentially or randomly.

I have purchased two products from the same developer. BOTH apps are garbage and do not work as designed. Furthermore, I reached out to their customer support and can’t even get a response, let alone a remedy. I will be disputing the charges with my credit card company because Apple has decided to raise their hands saying I’m not eligible for a refund. Apps will work for storing content, but DO NOT EXPECT to be able to export ANY of the content you’ve stored to any other DEVICE (new phone or desktop). Once again, your content WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE MOVED TO YOUR NEW CELLULAR DEVICE. Content is NOT able to be uploaded or shared with iCloud, no backups can be made. I don’t need the $6, but considering how well I’m being dodged, I’m gonna GET my $6 refunded. Sneaky, unsupported app and service.

The game itself is great secret folders lots and lots of security but that is why I am here, security, it’s not about to much of it, it’s about dot lock, YEP, DOT LOCK, I can get in, I get in, I press my finger down, move it from dot to dot, and then when it tells me to redo to make sure I know it, literally the second I take my finger off, it crashes, not inconvenient timing, this happened ever single time I tried to set dot lock security. In other words... ... PLEASE FIX THIS I NEEEEEEEEDDDDD MY DOT LOCK SECURITY BECAUSE SECURITY...... P.S. I am a kid yes I put in a few jokes, like the NEEEEEEEEEEDDDDD

This is a great app. I liked it better as a calculator but still serves good purpose. If you switch phones or devices though make sure to back up your content otherwise the content will be lost forever. I switched it a new iPhone and lost everything. I did my normal back up on the cloud and iTunes and SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos transferred but not the data. I erased my old phone before realizing what happened so that sucked but otherwise great.

SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos somehow stopped showing the “add files” functions at the bottom of the GUI when it got updated a month ago.
I could still use it to view my files but not add any additional item.
After several updates, the missing functions never came back, which was a shame for such a good app that i’ve been using for years.
It got updated yesterday and to my surprise, all functions were back.

I originally download SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos and it was amazing, even bought the pro version then I had changed my password and all my saved pictures and videos were deleted... then added more and logged back in a couple days later.. all the ones that were previously deleted were there but the new images were lost... now I’ve tried about everything to get them all to come back but am at a loss now.. not sure what to do.

I love the fact that this exists because I can hide stuff I don’t want friends and family to see. Some go through my phone, but I hide this with other apps no one uses and no one has found it since! If they did, they still wouldn’t be able to use SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos without knowing my password. I recommend it! The only thing is that photos and vids are separate. But that’s not bad.

For months I’ve been using Calculator+, but today SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos icon on my home screen changed to My Disk, and all my files were ported over. I never downloaded My Disk. I didn’t even know it existed until I saw that awful icon. What’s great about Calculator+ is that it is discreet - it performs like a calculator and looks like any other app. That’s the whole point of it. I didn’t ask for a shiny bright yellow app called “My Disk”. Why would I want to draw attention to confidential files in such an obvious way? And by the way, I didn’t give permission for the developer to change SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos on my behalf. I don’t know how this happened but my trust in this is completely shot. Shoddy shoddy work.

Need help with a password issue, I’ve spent over a month now, reaching out to all outlets to Mr. Weihe Mo, that he himself put in SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos Store.. including:
His Gmail (15+ emails) to no avail,
Twitter messages (15+) to no avail,
Facebook messages (15+) to no avail.
Less than pleased. Everything was fine until I decided to support his cause and upgrade to the paid version. MUCH happier with the free version, but the lack of response when needed is a poor way to conduct business and represent yourself.
If I get a response I have no problem changing the MORE than generous ONE star to a slightly higher rating. If I could do negative stars, I would because this is beyond terrible customer service. Weihe Mo aka “Setnul” should be ashamed of himself for exploiting people’s confidence in his product, using for personal storage of sensitive information and files just to let it disappear with ZERO help. So now, our precious and private information is now gone forever.

I think you also developed SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos My Disk, that I have been using for several years and loved it. It just few days ago stopped working as it appears that current build is not compatible with new OS updates. I had tons of very important pictures in there that I cannot access anymore. I have downloaded your new app SPV; any way I can move pictures from My Disk here or anyway I can access pictures in My Disk.

Understandable that free versions of apps usually come with annoying ads but this is a paid app. I launch SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos , an ad comes out and I’m forced to wait like 3 seconds. I then enter my password for SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos , and an ad pops up again. When I switch to other apps and come back to SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos, I get bombarded with an ad again, wait 3 seconds, before I can enter my password. And it goes on like this. What the heck?! This guy is a cheat. Earns our money and still want to earn advertising dollars. Unscrupulous. He is lucky that he hasn’t got any competition for now but it won’t be for long.

I have used this for years but now is faulty and seems as if no support...used the free version, but with poor performance thought maybe since free...so bought the $$$ fee version...and should have no ads, but still do and still performs poorly...by performance, spacing of txt all over the place...thought maybe too much data in the file (? Hey...it's txt) so made smaller individual files but still an issue...why SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos is still with apple...SHOULD NOT BE...take my $$$ and run...though small change, it's about integrity and principle...shame shame shame

I had another app for a similar purpose and this one is much better. The other makes you pay for more use and is difficult on a budget. This is much more admin-friendly as opposed to my other one where you only had one folder unless you paid for more. With the other if someone got your password you were screwed, with this one you have options

Not expensive to upgrade and easier to access now that it allows for the fingerprint to unlock. Overall it’s great and easy to navigate. I love how it allows you to upload things and then delete them from the phone with one click, but you have to remember to remove things from your “recently deleted” folder as well.

Works great! Recommend! SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos has worked for me for many years with no issues. My only disappointment with it was after the latest update, the calculator icon disappeared and is now a very obvious shield icon with the label "Photo Vault". One of the things I really liked about SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos was the incognito working calculator. Despite this SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos still works great and I will keep using it and hopefully the designers will realize the error of their ways and add the calculator back.

SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos seemed great at first, when I hit the size limit I paid for more, as soon as I paid it started screwing up. It wouldn’t import all the photos I was trying to import, it wouldn’t delete the old ones from my phone, I tried to export them all out of SecretPhotoVaultLockPhotos to get them back in again and it apparently missed a few and those got deleted entirely! Luckily I had a friend send them to me so they were in my text messages still but I would have been so mad if I lost them! I downloaded a different app immediately, wish I could get my money back for this one.

With update 7, there is no option to export, copy or save videos

If you create a new folder you don’t have an option / plus button at the bottom to add images/video. You can only add more folders. Used to you create a new folder and have a + icon below to add images. This is now missing.

The only way I can get images into a new folder is to share from photos to Photo Vault. If goes into a Shared folder and I have to cut to or move to another folder.

When I share video from Photos to Vault it also goes into Shared Video folder but there is no option to Cut/Move To or get it out of the Shared folder.

Can’t share or export videos anymore. You’re stuck.
