Through most Saavn updates, there were some frustrating UI/UX updates that took so long to get used to. But this latest update has just broken my app. My downloads are gone, Saavn doesn’t recognize I’m a pro user, I can’t seem to go online (just get a generic error). When I try to open a playlist from the home page of JioSaavn to try and play anything, JioSaavn just *crashes*. Final straw for me. Ending my Saavn pro but might be back if these bugs are fixed. Saavn was originally so good! Just wish the UI/UX would be simple enough and that app would just WORK. I’m a developer myself, so this is not a diss at the developers, I understand how hard this work can be. But just...who’s making decisions to roll out these drastically different (and often full of bugs) with every other update of JioSaavn ...just keep it simple, please! Thanks and good luck :)

I have been using Saavn for a couple of years now, and have been a fan of JioSaavn , but this new update has made JioSaavn much worse.

Even though I have excellent internet connection, the music stops playing and loads. If I change apps or just close the window in general, the music stops and loads until or unless I go to Saavn again. I had no problem with having ads interrupt the music but with the new update, THERE ARE EVEN MORE ADS THAN LAST TIME! Are you people seriously pushing users to go pro? Yes, I’ll admit that the user interface is better, but one good apple does not make a basket of rotten apples appealing. And if my internet is so bad, then why do the ads play smoothly without any buffering or interruptions, but after the ad my music does not even start? Now even the ads are stopping my music from playing. Very dissatisfied with your service.

I love quality and collection of music they have. I loved it so much that I became PRO member.. Now after enjoying few days of music JioSaavn often started to crash on my phone. It always went to offline mode and showed there is no network where as I am connected to my home Wi-Fi network or 4G LTE network. First couple of days I was able to sign in and change mode from offline to online. Now since last few days it doesn’t even let me sign in to app to change mode. Please fix this issue.. Thanks

Saavn has been my go to app for Indian music for its simplicity and ease of use. With the latest app update, using JioSaavn has become painful. The overall UI and especially the new queue is terrible to navigate - I cannot browse through my queue and repeat songs easily any more because songs in the queue placed before the current song just disappear. I need either scroll backward through the artwork one by one or go back all the way to my playlists again find a song and play it again. It seems like a change was made to a great product just for the sake of it, rather than with real thought or need. Considering canceling my subscription if there is no change for the better soon.

Have been a pro user for almost 4 years now. Excellent variety aswell as music quality. Satisfied with everything except for JioSaavn which keeps getting worse with updates. Running JioSaavn on iPhone 13 pro now and it is even worse than it was on my last phone. Too many bugs. App randomly closes while a song is playing. Glitches when selecting songs. App glitches at almost any action. Starting to become a pain. I have anxiously been waiting for an update for almost a year now which fixes all these very obvious problems with JioSaavn but a new update always leaves me more disappointed. So sad to watch my favourite app slowly become a pain to use.

After the recent update, Saavn keeps only a few songs in the queue when I click on "Shuffle All". It’s irritating while going on a long drive, after a few songs, it stops playing. Then, I have to again open JioSaavn and click on "Shuffle All". This is the problem, while it's on offline mode while I'm out of my wifi network. But, that's why I have the Saavn Pro, to keep all songs downloaded and play when driving.

I live off Saavn and have relied on it from the day it launched. Hearing all the awful experiences with the changed interface (that came along with the change from the green app to the black app), I was able to avoid updating for ages but just now had to after not being able to use JioSaavn without it. Not even 10 min after trying everything out I’m frustrated to the extreme. This queue is inconvenient and irritating to try and get to different songs on my mega baseline playlist. It is not easy to use nor does it make sense to the user.

The original set up was much better please change it back.

JioSaavn has been constantly logging me out. That invalidates all downloads. It also happens some other times when I am offline but logged in. The whole idea of having offline songs is to be able to access them when you don’t have internet. The songs are unavailable even when I log back in and need to be downloaded again which is a waste of time and bandwidth if I am on a metered connection. I’ve had a paid subscription for almost two years now. This issue might end up being a deal breaker and I might have look for other options. Would be sad because JioSaavn has otherwise improved in visual appeal and navigation but if the only thing that I am paying for doesn’t work then all that might not be worth it.

I had a subscription for a really long time, probably since its earliest days. Then somehow JioSaavn made me sign for the subscription again and had been charging me for 2 subscriptions every month. I lost track of this and eventually caught on to it and cancelled the 2nd one. Unfortunately, saavn continued to charge me for the first one but not give me access to all the pro services. I emailed saavn and got an automated response saying getting too many emails and to wait for a response. No answer for almost 5 weeks but continued to charge me. Really disappointed. Hope that this will encourage team to get back and fix my problem and refund me for all the months that I was double charged

I am not sure if it’s just me or anyone else came across the need for this basic functionality.

JioSaavn developer community seems to be pretty active, so hopefully someone takes a look at this.

I am a Pro and heavy user!

All I am looking for is a basic search function in the playlist. I am aware of the search function in the home screen and that’s not what I am referring to. Having to scroll through a long playlist and pick a song manually is such a pain and it’s not user-friendly at all, let’s not talk about intuitiveness yet.

My phone began to die of zero battery almost immediately after I installed JioSaavn. (No other apps installed). It would be 54% one moment and couple of hours later dead, which has never happened because I always keep my phone decently charged. JioSaavn is fooling even the battery analysis feature in the settings and it’s consumption doesn’t show up. Trust me guys, it runs in the background pirating from your battery doing god know what! My phone is back to normal after uninstalling JioSaavn. Good riddance.

I was a subscriber of the Saavn App since 2016. However, just a month ago while going over my iTunes App receipts I got to find that Saavn has been charging me TWICE each month for the payments! I contacted the Saavn support, who told me to contact the iTunes Apple support, who in turn told me to go back to Saavn’s Dev Support! I was thrown like a ball all around and none resolved my overpaid subscription money. I didn’t get back a penny neither any credit for future use. I am appalled by their customer service. Highly disappointing app, service, and company. Save your bucks for other better apps!

Most of the playlists or curation says “oops, something went wrong”. Have already paid for a year so can’t do much but don’t think I will be renewing. Your feedback team hasn’t done anything to help either after I have already provided them screenshots and logs so I don’t know what else it will take you guys to fix JioSaavn . I have been patiently waiting for about 3 months now for this to be resolved. Decided to write this as I saw you guys making all users write an email to your feedback team for help which has not been of any help.

For anyone who wants to know and for the record I’m paying for Apple Music, Gaana and now this app.
Why?
Because among all three only this app has Tips music catalog.
JioSaavn user interface is very neat, modern and very easy to reach out to your favorite playlists.

Dear developer team:

Your app has some serious work to be done. JioSaavn for iOS is buggy:
1. Keeps going to offline mode with no reason.
2. Memory management: if you use another app then get back to this app it completely restarts, hell you have to listen to a song from the beginning it didn’t even saves your listening progress.
3. There is no indication of you have downloaded a song or an album, there should at least be a tick mark that you’ve download the album or a single track.
4. Sometimes JioSaavn starts acting up and you can’t even go the previous window unless you shut down JioSaavn entirely.

I'm using saavn app from almost four years and now I don't see new telugu releases on JioSaavn as soon the music is out on all other platforms and we need to pay every month if we don't get expected movie songs to listen. Took this complaint to Twitter and emailed feedback about this but I don't see any response. I don't understand if this issue am I facing it alone or new movies are not going to be released on saavn jio
If that's the case what's the point in having subscription for a year and no proper response expected from the provider. I will not suggest to use JioSaavn anymore.

I can’t express my frustration towards this horrible app. It was all working fine until they start charging monthly fee to use JioSaavn. Every-time I am ready to use JioSaavn while I am traveling or taking a flight all the downloaded songs disappears. This is freaking annoying and irritating. This devices is not authorized to download songs REALLY ... I am the one who paid for subscription and can’t even use it when I need it the most. Get your act together otherwise give me my money back. And I would like to give ZERO star. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE APP. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

JioSaavn has totally stopped working for me. I have tried multiple internet connections but everytime it gives the connectivity issue and when it does open, it doesn’t play any song at all and says “this playlist doesn’t exist anymore”. It started slowly when I played a song and locked my phone and when I wanted to change the song I had to close JioSaavn fully or the main screen wouldn't load. Now no matter what I do, it won’t show me even the main screen.

JioSaavn performs poorly within the ios or any connected devices! The content itself is decent and I like how they dynamically generate playlists and radio stations based on your listening history! I definitely would have gone pro subscription if there weren’t sooo many issues with connectivity. Lock screen music control doesn’t happen most times! I really wish they cleaned up and make JioSaavn working better coz the content is worth paying for!

I have used Saavn pro for more than 5 hours and I never had much complaints. But with the last update, shuffle and repeat doesn't work well. No matter what I do, I can't get repeat button enabled. And the queue is also working difficult and I feel it is not user friendly. I can't get an entire album or a single song to play on repeat.

So I have been using JioSaavn since last 4 years and it is okay to use. But from the last few months JioSaavn is driving me crazy! Every time I want to play a song it says that playback is unavailable! How I am supposed to listen to songs? I feel sad for those who buy the pro. I would have recommended JioSaavn always but not today! Kindly fix this problem or I have to switch to some other app.

It has a decent collection but most of them says unavailable and i don’t know why (I am from Bangladesh, if region matters). Let the shuffle/Repeat button to preserve settings from the last time what user sets to. And songs by artist category also gets confused by artists with same name. And my downloads just keep vanishing after a day or two. And the lockscreen/Control center media control has a problem that is the media info/album art doesn’t change if I change the song from CC/LS control but the song is actually changed. Hope to see an update with the fixes. And yes!!!! I would reallyyyyyy love if there is a pitch black dark mode and also for <=iOS12 devices pleaaase❤️

It was working fine the whole day but now JioSaavn crashed or something and all the data is deleted from the devices the account was logged in on except the downloaded songs

If i could give 0 stars, i would. Yes, it was better when it was free. Clearly all the success got to their head and they screw it up. There is no way to control the devices in your account, so many songs are not available AND just when you think things cant get any worse for paying as much as i do ALL MY DOWNLOADED songs have disappeared. Like seriously? How about you guys get your sh** together and stop wasting our money on such a crappy service?

I used to love JioSaavn, used it almost every morning when getting dressed. However, for the past 2 weeks it has been awful! Every time I try to play a song, I hear about 2 seconds of the song before an awful screechy noise begins and crashes the sound system of my iPhone. I have to then reset sounds in my settings to get any audio at all from my phone. I’m worried JioSaavn is ruining my phone!

I usually don’t get mad at apps this much but I hate JioSaavn and their staff. As a paying member, I can’t use my own app because they have a limit of 5 devices. Now if I have to deauthorize one of the devices, I have to email them and tell them to do it. Oh by the way, I emailed them more than 3 weeks ago and still, nothing has happened. As of this week, I am no more an active paying member after four years.

I’ll play my songs for a few minutes and all of a sudden a horrible screeching sound starts and distorts the songs, this happens on my iPhone speaker, and any Bluetooth headphones or speaker that o connect to. This issue however does not happen on any other music or video apps I have. ONLY SAAVN. This is an issue and needs to be solved immediately or I’ll be cancelling my membership immediately.

Great app but it keeps freezing and then it doesn't open and I have to uninstall it, reinstall it it's getting really annoying otherwise I love it.

I’d not even give JioSaavn a single star. I’ve downloaded around 100 songs for my trip as I’m limited on internet and when I’m ready for the trip, right on!! They all vanished and no synchronization helped regaining them back. Pretty sad to be paying for this rather than getting some other app with better performance and quality even if it costs more.

if there is a playlist already present and I give its name., instead of giving the Oops message JioSaavn can prompt to add the songs to the existing playlist. Can you guys make that update?

I changed my device and I wanted to deauthorize my old devices, I don’t have such an option to control other devices in my account. I emailed the support team to get this done as per the instructions, its been 3 months since I made the request but never got response. Very poor customer support. I would like to give 0 stars.
