Jango Radio - Streaming Music Reviews

Okay—- just had to confirm the email address and login via email instead of Facebook. Facebook login is still weird. But I’m happy I can get to my stations now!

Jango app seemed to have either deleted my stations or automatically logging me into someone else’s account. I deleted and downloaded it and every time I’m trying to log into my Facebook account-I have a specific one I use for jango, it doesn’t take me to the login screen, it automatically goes to a page that says use the previous login account or log in using jango-I used fab to sign up. When I pick the previous login account it shows me a screen with only one station when I have way more than that.... please tell me what’s going on! Or just have it so I can input the login info for fb.

I really like that Jango mixes in unknown local artists and listeners get to vote on how much air play they get. Jango is the best app to take a musical break from Top 40 radio. Jango includes plenty of professional musicians that aren’t yet household familiar names but are great talents. If you’ve never heard Eva Cassidy, I highly recommend checking out her singing, piano playing and guitar playing on Jango!

Want to listen to some Bach and his Baroque contemporaries while working? Jango is great for this, too.

Want to be surprised by music similar to artists you already like? Select or create a station of that artist and leave the music playing to Jango. You’re almost certain to hear music and artists that are new to you. Jango is a set and let play type of app.

I absolutely love Jango and I pray it’s never removed. I’ve been using it for YEARS. It’s my top preference for streaming music. It has a huge variety and you can filter explicit songs. It seems they update the list of songs on a station rather late and tends to play the same song first on a station but you have unlimited skips! Thank God! Pandora takes a major L on that... Plus, you can definitely stumble upon unheard songs from popular and upcoming artists. I’ve discovered new songs and artists from this radio app versus Pandora (that only plays the most popular and common songs). I like hearing old mixed in with the new WITHOUT commercials... I dislike Pandora for that reason.

I really like my Jango app. I like how Jango doesn’t limit the number of songs you can skip. I also like that it doesn’t have too many commercials. I also love the ability to create my own station as well as just listening to a specific artist. Jango also has so many options to choose from in different genres. I can listen to JangoRadio while playing games or searching the web. Unfortunately, only downside is you need the internet to use it.

i love JangoRadio so much i’ve had JangoRadio since 2015 i keep on deleting it because my mother ends up paying for my subscription but i’ve had JangoRadio all of my middle school year and it is super high quality it sounds amazing and it is my recommended app. i would say this is similar to pandora radio but this is way way way more premium like uoj get unlimited skips and you get zero ads and that’s a major W i absolutely love it and i hope the creator doesn’t delete JangoRadio because he has done such a great job

Nothing left to say but they are the best in the store, their options for being free are among the best I’ve used for apps. They have a wide selection of music and only one commercial per visit you are listening to music. They have local music talent to help promote local musicians which is also a bonus. Not even the big name brand one does that hehe. Good job with JangoRadio it’s definitely worth a paid version(if you ever do is what I mean hehe) this is will be on my phone’s and other devices as long as it’s available to use.

When initially start using JangoRadio , the number of “promotional” songs is very low. In my experience it was about 1 every 2 to 3 hours. The more you listen, the more of the promotional songs play. At this point, I have been listening for about two months, the promotional songs play about every third or fourth song. Selecting the thumbs down may stop that song but does not keep similar promotional songs from dominating the playtime. Also, selecting the “don’t play songs like this” option does nothing. I understand that this is how Jango pays the bills, but the frequency is much higher than advertised.

Hello, I am Kristy and I am 9. I like how there is a clean version that plays Todays Top 100, I am a big fan of Nicki Minaj and Outkast and now I can finally listen to their music at school! Also if you think some songs are iffy, you can get Disney Songs and Kidz Bop. You can also make stations for your fave artists and it plays them and related artists. I am a fan of Billie Ellish, I love how I can play her songs more often by making her station. I can also add Troye Sivan to the mix, and play both him and Billie more often. I love JangoRadio.

How can you not love a free music app that plays on the internet and with an app? Pick an artist and get music in similar varieties. I just need to see if it’s on my fire stick as well. I’ve tried others and they charge a monthly fee, require an app download and are not as intuitive. A friend of mine at work recommended Jango for continuous uninterrupted music the doesn’t require an unauthorized app to be put on a computer at your job. Finally music without the mess! Thank you Jango!

Just love listening to Jango playing music with no commercial adds and playing music nonstop. Like the ideal about playing insependent artist helping them out getting their music out there. But i do have a little problem when im done listening to music and turning off music it keeps on playing and i have to shut my phone down in order to stop playing the music. If you could fix this it’ll be appreciated. Thank you.

Overall I'm pleased with JangoRadio . I've been using it for almost two years due to the fact that I got sick of Pandora and their commercials!
Occasionally JangoRadio will pause for no apparent reason and that is a little frustrating. My only other criticism is that the channels have nearly identical Playlist. Meaning if I listen to a station one day and then the next day I'll listen to the same it plays the same songs in the same order.

I have listened to JangoRadio for well over a year. I can’t believe I didn’t already leave a review. But this is one of the best free apps I have used. Still can’t believe it’s free. I mean how is it getting money? But anyway it has some great selections and it plays relatively well. I have had a few issues playing over “LTE”. But when on WiFi it’s awesome. I also like how the developers have regular updates. So someone cares.

I'm tired of Pandora playing the same songs over and over with a limited selection. If Jango can remove some of the bugs and continue to innovate, l would pay or put up with a few commercials. Your Radio is very good, I hope someone will invest with some big capital, because you are on to something, thanks.

I’ve only had it a few days now but I really like it. I LOVE that they will play an indie artist and ask what you think, kudos!

If I had one negative right now it’s doesn’t appear that I can see songs that previously played so I can rate them if I couldn’t get to it or if I wanted to remember them later. The feature may be there but if so it’s not immediately apparent so my apologies if it is there.

I like JangoRadio and have been using it for almost 8 years now but can y’all fix this issue and let us skip the song when we’re out of JangoRadio ? JangoRadio version has me having to physically go to my phone, unlock it and go to JangoRadio itself to skip, pretty much defeats the purpose of my AirPods. I don’t have issues with this on my other devices with JangoRadio. It keeps me from using JangoRadio because it’s very annoying. Thanks.

Yes, I can ban songs. It’s just that I would rather unlike a song than completely ban it. It would be nice to see a list of liked or banned songs that I could edit. Not a big deal, just would be a nice touch.

The best thing about Django is if you don't want to listen to a promoted song, you just skip it. How can you top that?

The worst thing is, as far as I can tell, I can't unlike a song if it makes my channel go in a direction I don't like. That means I often have to delete and rebuild channels. I still rate this five stars because I haven't seen another free radio giving unlimited skips.

It is nice to see an app that finally realizes that not everybody wants to hear the F word and all the other low class filthy talk because they don’t have enough intellect to use a better vocabulary I am not saying that I am always perfect but maybe I just try harder
Now I wish Netflix would pay attention

All of a sudden whatever algorithms you have seem to not be working, spice girls play on Bruce Springsteen stations. Everything is random. I get hip hop on soft pop stations.
50% of the music that comes through is Spanish. I live in Greece so this can’t be a location thing.
I listen everyday as I have a home office and I love your lack of ads and that you try new artists.
But the last couple of weeks all the stations I pick turn to Spanish and don’t match up at all.

Please update&fix the Jango applications because when you click on the playlists of the artists, some of the playlists plays&some does not play@all. Please update&fix the applications for the playlists. If the problems still contine, i will have to delete the application due to problems with playlists. Please fix&update. Thanks😡😡😡😡☹️☹️☹️

Would be nice to be able to long press and select radio station from home screen. Would also be nice to have an option to see our song history like available on the website player

Unlimited skips JangoRadio also plays songs that have never been played on the radio. Also plays a variety of songs unlike some apps that play the same songs every 5 min. I’ve also discovered really good songs that I’ve never heard before as well songs that I haven’t heard in decades❣️

The intelligent selection of songs to play based on similarities to the chosen artist is great. However, the need to make money means that they stick ads in the middle of songs which stops the music playing until you close the ad, then it returns to where it left off the song. I like to listen to music while I am working, which means moving around a lot, and having to come back to my desk every 5 minutes to close an ad is very frustrating.
