Listia: Buy, Sell, and Trade Reviews

I was a seller for about 6 months with hundreds of 100% feedbacks. Today, they banned my account because they said, I had refunded to many items in one day. I refunded 3 items because it was over a week and I couldn’t ship it out. I wasn’t able to ship out because the whole COVID situation is taking a toll on me and everyone and I have to prioritize my life before the packages. But apparently In this case the packages were more important, I offered 2 day shipping on all my items with FedEx 2 Day Shipping Service. So, even if it took over a week to ship, you’d get the item 2 days later. Today I also, got a payout of credits about 80,000 for this auction, I did of Apple AirPods and they received there item, I received my credits, 5 mins later they banned my account and said I forfeit the credits. Like REALLY! I spent all this money and time getting good feedbacks and I get replayed by getting banned. Do Not Use this app because they will screw you over somehow.

You take surveys and offers to get points to purchase items, but the survey cites are sketchy and scammy. No matter if you finished the survey or not, you won’t get the points for it, it’ll just say you weren’t qualified for the survey and rip you off. What’s the point of doing these offers and not ever receiving points for doing them. It needs to be fixed. They need to stop scamming for points.

I used Listia for literally 24 hrs and did not quite understand how Listia worked. Within those 24 hours I was harassed by another user who repeatedly asked me if I was accepting cash or check for my posted items. Me not knowing how Listia worked, responded yes. This user commented on EVERY SINGLE POST I had. Telling me I was breaking policy and harassing for the entire day even after I told her I didn’t understand how Listia worked. She then reported me and got every single one of my items removed. I tried to deactivate my account because this was completely ridiculous, I made numerous tickets asking to have my account deleted all went I responded. They refuse to delete my account!!! My advice, use another app like OfferUp or better if you want to sell your things. This is ridiculous and not even worth the trouble.

The site is okay. Use to be awesome, but then price of credits and the credits themselves shot through the roof. The way I'd like to search for things is hard and cant go straight to ... Say I'd like to go" crafts beads cheapest ending soonest " nope too much to ask for too. Plus while I shop eBay for things over seas, having it here doesn't help prices or quality too well either. So many spikes in prices (one tiny bracelet charm use to be maybe 1,000 credits now over 30,000 and up to 100,000 or more.. ) I can't even sell off my items cause other people are having the same issues... So giving high though of getting rid of my last creds and walking away from this site!!!!

Love the site. However Listia needs help. Ever since the currency updated I have been having issues. The videos quit working to watch for credit. I’ve also not been getting notifications as much even with them turned on, or they pop up hours after the fact and it’s too late. Now today it is not letting me provide my address for things I won because they’re still sitting in the bid on area saying paid. Please fix the site and app.

I do think that this is a great website for the most part I only wish they would not let so many people from China and Hong Kong put up these auctions for one credit and then charge a lot of money for shipping and handling. The beauty of this site when I started was that you could get the majority of great merchandise by using the credit to build up and either having free shipping or the small amount that it actually costs and not these incredibly high prices that people in foreign countries are making up.

this app USED to be awesome. Sure you can still by great stuff from people IF thry are regulars from when this app sold CREDITS. THE ISSUE NOW, is thry refuse to let you leave negative feedback of someone doesn’t pay, they allow people who don’t have enough XNK in their account to bid and win, then the seller has to wait 3 days then if the buyer has not paid they get to cancel the transaction and have to put the item up for sale again. It’s unfair.. but it’s because this app is hoping that the person without enough XNK will buy it from this app and then this app makes MORE MONEY. Greed has taken them over. So they allow newbies to bid and mess up auctions. It’s definitely a hassle sometimes.

I have completed several offers in the various things they have for us to earn free credits, as I cannot buy them straight out. I am on this app in the first place because I can’t afford to buy certain things, and I thought using the credit system would make it easier. Within the last two days I have completed several offers and not gotten the credits promised. Seeing as it takes up time to do the offers and take the surveys, I am becoming very unhappy with only getting the credits for some offers and not for others, especially the time consuming ones that were supposed to have a bigger payout credit wise. :/

There’s no way to save a preset search on Apple app because it doesn’t have a save button. Please fix that already

I am able to use Listia to buy and sell things but keep in mind that not all sales and purchases will end well. In the event that you have an issue with a buyer or seller, this app will not really give a crap about you or the seller. They seem to suggest whatever is easiest for them to end the dilemma. I received a crappy item once and sent pics to prove it was far from the actual picture posted, lost my credits. I received the wrong item and was told to send the item back and pay for shipping and tracking! Lol. I can appreciate a good site but their customer service so far is extremely unsatisfying.

I can't express how I feel about this app except it opened a whole new Hobby for me. I never get tired of browsing or thinking of things that I could recycle to help keep My clutter down. I have s Meet so many people that are so friendly and I consider to be buddies now. I love it and that all the people that have joined In to a free deal, you are the people that have made this app what it is, along with the great staff that is the foundation of this app. ILL (I love this app)

I loved this app! A year ago I wrote thus: lSometimes we change sizes, interests, etc. With this app, one can find a happy home for things no longer needed, while earning points for things we do want—usually for no exchange of money! Win-win!” Now all the store credits I earned are a waste. The new currency is not worth much, so it takes many to win an auction. I would like credit for all my store points!

I’ve been a member almost 8 years. I used to love the site and the concept was awesome you could trade things you don’t use or need and get something someone else doesn’t need etc. anyway it was great especially in tough times, brought back a barter system that was fun and affordable. Now it’s just another bitcoin type disaster. Where are the real people? Nothing but retailers and scammers and the bitcoin like can’t net or whatever my iOS corrects it to can’t every time, it’s confusing and well stupid. Really disappointed. Hopefully another writer will come up with a new app that is awesome like this app used to be.

Listia used to be easy to use, with regular credits and I could understand the actual value of the items I was trying to win. Now they added this xnk system which I completely don’t understand!

Maybe that’s why Nobody was watching my listings because I accidentally put too high price for my listings when I put 5,000 Xnk starting price for iPhone car charging set.

I don’t know what happened to the value of credits and how they work anymore.

Also you need to have %90 or more feedback rating to put gin (get it now) option on your listings. I wanted to post some expensive tech and items on this app, but now I worry about getting ripped off for those items because I cant post a gin anymore since I got a couple of negative feedback for shipping some of my previous items late. The gin option should be available no mater your level of feedback ratings. Fix this and then you’ll earn 5 stars

I loved this app when credits where simple and credits didn't surge up. The credits I earned back then where like 2,000 which was a lot back then, now it's worth nothing and this app didn't do anything to increase my points. I pretty much sold $20 items for under 20 cents. Now it's full of people who are just trying to make profit over charging shipping. I done free shipping for customers but I'm the one who ends up loosing. I used to love watching over 80 people bidding on my item, due to this new ridiculous site I only get one or two for cool products. What happened to you this app?

After reading all of the reviews or most of them which were most critical you would think that a Developer comment would pop up every once in a while to defend them selves… Not the case here so I guess what people are saying are true so I will be deleting Listia after downloading it without even using it. Developers you better get on your toes and do something about these unsatisfied peopleOr your app will really be in trouble. That is if you care at all what she doesn’t look like you do… Have fun

Seems the company is all about the almighty dollar and not their members. Many have dropped out when they opted to stop dealing in “credits” and started dealing in “XNK/Ink. Price gouging by a lot of members who clearly still do not understand how the changeover works when calculating the value of the item they auction off. Too much business, no longer the personal touch that listing on her site used to have. Took 99% of my things elsewhere to a more user friendly site. Miss the good old days.

Listia needs work I’ve been a this app user since Listia first came out it’s a amazing app but now the videos won’t work please work on the videos instead of having the button on there if there’s no videos to be played and credited!!!

I never know when someone has written me without having to log in to check. It makes me feel like I am unresponsive or disinterested in my customers; I hate that. Also how in the world does one GIN? Where are the instructions? If there are instructions, they seem to be buried somewhere?

I hate the new coin system. I don’t understand it. I’m looking for another site that is as fin as this app used to be.

Great app use a lot for video games and trading cards but since the prices change and u can use money to finish paying for stuff everything is to outrageous expensive so don’t use as much and people i know use to use it don’t as much hopefully this changes sometime

Can not say how much I love the site. Been a member since very early over 10 yrs ago. I collect a few things and have found many items here at an awesome price using this app credits. My comic book pile alone has gained many pounds of pleasure. That’s why this app Loot like the Lottery.

I wanted to like this app, I really did, but something I noticed was that the only people featured where ones with a lot of fans or bids already. I sold a variety of items, mostly books, and I didn’t get one offer on any of my items. I think the whole site would be better if the featured posts weren’t simply based on amount of fans. The prices are also a problem. Either you have Chinese people selling things for 1 credit and $10 shipping or you have people selling something worth $10 for 10,000 credits. The XIN doesn’t help either, trying to convert the numbers is way more work than needed.

Really though I’ve been using Listia for a couple years now. It was amazing the old credit system was so much better. I use this only for digital movie codes and now everything is insanely high.. like 2,000 XNK for one movie. They use to go for like 60-70 or at the highest 250. It’s just sad it was such a great app and fun to use now everything is over priced. Please find a way to fix this. It’s just not fun anymore. People are getting greedy and not as friendly as it use to be. Just sad

Update: Nothing’s changed all the digital movies are priced insanely high and this stupid currency is terrible. Go back to the old system! this app doesn’t care about their customers. It shows

this app used to be an awesome, fun place to do business and get unique things but since they changed the credit system and got rid of the this app Plus everything has gone downhill. Now there's too many sellers selling items drop shipping from Hong Kong and that doesn't even follow this app delivery policy.

Sometimes change is good, and at other times it’s a disaster. I really enjoyed this site until they switched to a new currency. The old credit system was super easy; this new one is unnecessarily more complicated. I’ve purchased various Cryptocurrency in the past, but this site doesn’t need that. Why!? I miss being able to quickly buy some credits and get what I want. I was just about to list something today, but changed my mind. I’ll just find somewhere else.
