How to fix WeChat app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the WeChat app on iPhone
Update WeChat app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall WeChat iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix WeChat on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve WeChat network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

WeChat Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix WeChat not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the WeChat App
1. On android, goto Settings » WeChat » click [Force Stop]

Update WeChat to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear WeChat App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » WeChat » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart WeChat.

Fix WeChat unable to contact server/ WeChat internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click WeChat » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto WeChat » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch WeChat
