It only translates like 60 percent of the frase and a good amount of time it is way off context as far as typing the frase is ok but still who wants to pay for a feature that does not always work and needs internet on the go, I lost money here that could have been used towards a hand held independent translator
I spoke to it " hey, how did it go at work today?" which it understood as "Hello what should you at work today?" and translated to spanish "Hola lo que debe hoy en el trabajo"

Which means " hi to what you owe in the job"
A lot of poor translation

Just downloaded and it said my 7-day free trial had expired and prompted me to pay. No, I will not pay without testing the quality of the transcription.

Was working fine on my iPad 1 with iOS 5 until last update which I installed today, 13 jan 14. Now it wont launch! Please fix this ASAP. I paid for GalaxyTranslateUltimate and expect it to continue working. This shows me that yet another company who makes apps doesn't know what the term "regression testing" means. They should test any and all updates on all versions for iPhone and iPad hardware, as well as each of the various iOS revisions. If a newer version of GalaxyTranslateUltimate is not applicable to older hardware or operating system, then it should not show up in GalaxyTranslateUltimate store as an update, nor should you be able to download and install it if it is going to render it unusable. Come on guys - I am confident you can do better than this. Show some professionalism, please!

Three years ago, I would say this was one of the best speech translation apps in the world. I paid about $15 for it. Several months ago it stopped working. Now it started working again but they now ask for more money for an app that I cannot even figure out how it works. Not intuitive at all. They have not been responsive to any of my questions about why they took my money 3 years ago and now I cannot use GalaxyTranslateUltimate that I paid for. Current app requires you to either work for points to pay for a subscription or pay even more money. I don't trust them anymore.

I saw that commercial a while back about the guy speaking on his phone to an elderly man in Italy, and I thought I'd have to have that app. Researched forever for it, and after several sites and users input I was told it was GalaxyTranslateUltimate. I saw the high ratings and read the reviews, so I thought perfect, I bought it. GalaxyTranslateUltimate works, but barely. It's SLOW, doesn't have punctuation or grammar, and it's recognition software is weak. GREAT concept, poor execution. It was like waking up on Christmas morning to find out your gift is a lump of coal. I was a little harsh on the rating because I've had free apps that have worked better.

After the latest update when I go to launch the program, it opens and then shuts right back down.

I am a speech therapist working at a SNF. This is a wonderful app that allows me to screen, evaluate, and treat patients in the facility who speak other languages. I just wish I could turn the volume up higher as most of the patients are hard of hearing and can't see very well. I would also like to see Hebrew offered as an additional language.

I like GalaxyTranslateUltimate, very useful but where is the Vietnamese language? There are a ton of Vietnamese people in my city and school and sometimes is hard to talk to them or to understand what they ask me.

Great app design and function my first iPhone had GalaxyTranslateUltimate years ago I've subscribed to the annual subscription so many years there is only one teeny weeny problem I used to face the heros (the developers of GalaxyTranslateUltimate and company ) could fix in no time I sometimes forget my password so I find a difficulty entering to my account if the honorable staff of the company could please add a forget your password and link it to the personal email like other companies use it would be easy for me to reset my password using my email it would be so great and kind from their part thank you again for this wonderful app I wish you the best of luck you are geniuses that I admire .

This is my favorite app, I use it every day for Facebook messaging. But also when i to have to speak to anyone in a different language. It just works way better than the other apps i tried. It's worth the $20 so i can feel comfortable in a foreign country.

I've been using SpeechTrans for a year now within my business to translate to our clients who are outside of the United States. GalaxyTranslateUltimate was good but with the new update it is even better. I've seen the amount glitches reduced immensely and I like how fast it is now. Great Job SpeechTrans.

So far, GalaxyTranslateUltimate has yet to disappoint. It's speech recognition has 95% clarity, just as long as the user talks clearly. GalaxyTranslateUltimate is also great because when translating into a language with a different alphabet, it also speaks the translation, thus showing one how to pronounce characters, words, and phrases.

I'm very impressed with accuracy of GalaxyTranslateUltimate. It's something I've come to depend on for my business, and I have not been dissapointed. I really like how it picks everything up I say without having to repeat myself. Like I said very accuarate. Overall, I give it five stars. Well done!

GalaxyTranslateUltimate just doesn't work at all :( repetitive pop up says i need to subscribe even though I already did, rendering the entire app useless. As soon as you close the pop up it pops up again

Thanks to great customer service my account was reset and GalaxyTranslateUltimate works now! I use it all day at work and I love it!

The problem with most translators is when you translate something from English to say Italian and the person answers in Italian, how do you know what they said? Within app they can simply speak their answer in Italian and you can then translate it back to English! This is the best travel companion ever!

Amazing! I can now talk to my relatives in Italy who only speak Italian! I was also able to talk to them using the Facebook Chat Translation, i spoke in english and they saw the text in Italian on their computers in Italy, they typed back through Facebook Chat on their computer in Italian and the English translation was read aloud to me on my iPhone WOW!

It Works! GalaxyTranslateUltimate changed the way I travel. I am no longer nervous about going to a foreign country because I know i can use SpeechTrans to talk to the Locals! The accuracy is incredible as long as you speak in your native tongue. The voice translation is clear and not robotic, definitely worth the money!

This is the best app I have ever used! All I had to do was sign in with my Facebook user ID which I got from the Facebook accounts page. Then I was able to see all my contacts and communicate with them in any language without having to type a single word or even read what they wrote because it reads aloud what they typed back to me in my own language!

GalaxyTranslateUltimate works, it does what it says. It has everything i need when traveling. I used it in Japan and had instant voice translation, it lets me speak into my phone and it actually recognizes what i said. It also has photo translation so i can snap a picture, tilt my phone and then it speaks the translation of what's in the picture. MUST HAVE APP!

It works just like it says! I have been using it to help me with my Spanish class and to talk to Russian kids at my school it's pretty cool. Some people using GalaxyTranslateUltimate don't seem to understand in order to get the most accurate translations just turn auto translate off and manually type over any words it didn't recognize.

Another great thing about GalaxyTranslateUltimate is it saves your translations so you if you are someone without an Internet connection you can go bak and replay things you have translated before which can come in handy. Alternate translations are a good addition, there's always more than one way to say the same thing and with alternate translations it helps get the message across even better. Loving GalaxyTranslateUltimate!

My wife and I are going to Europe for 3 weeks in June and we will be traveling to England, Spain, Germany, and Switzerland and I was looking for an app that would easily translate across multiple languages without having to download separate apps for each language and GalaxyTranslateUltimate does an amazing job!!
