Too comfy

I’m going to try to focus on CCCONERepairFacility . CCC has been around plenty long enough to be able to integrate estimating into CCCONERepairFacility . They’ve been comfy with minimal competition so long that it’s like they refuse to make any attempt at a clean user-friendly, modern interface. Desktop has looked early 2000s for a long time. The features regarding customer contact are so clunky and annoying that most shops don’t use them. It could be SO GREAT. Yet they choose mediocrity because there’s no real competition.
Also, at the end of the day, their ultimate goal is to take our jobs with AI, after using estimators everywhere for their data input. Upsetting all around.

Adequate but Important Features Removed

App in this new version has the bare minimum for use on mobile compared to the previous version. Looking for opportunities and ROs are immensely time consuming compared to the previous version when you could simply scroll through and select which customer you wanted to look at. Production features have been removed so managing the vehicles in app has now impossible and inadequate for my needs. Customer files have to be looked up by name if any speed or time is to be saved. It may look sleeker but using CCCONERepairFacility and any of it’s remaining features take way too long to use.

A few problems need fixing

+’all workfiles’ is the only option I use. No point in the rest for me personally. But once I go to it my files are all jumbled & I have no way to sort by alphabetical or date. I can start a file yesterday and it takes time reading carefully each name down the list 5 times before I find it. And no the search is not helpful when I can’t remember a name. Who was that guy yesterday? Oh he’s # 26, it only took 2 minutes to find the file, OR where is Mr. “Brown”? Oh he is last on the list. Please make sort by alphabetical OR date(preference is a-z)and for some but not me as I do not use it but file/claim number 1-9.

+Need to add an address at the same time as name & ph#.

+Need to be able to make notes. The notes function has where ’task’ or some choice that makes no sense at all. I just need to type a basic note so I don’t have to carry paper also. “repair fender, Rplc hood, bumper (w/fog), LT help” etc... the incoming/ outgoing, whatever it is weird choices are pointless(same on desktop version). (((Only pathways had simple note function that would add to bottom of estimate, ccc is missing it))), now there are all sorts of Complicated note choices and makes no sense at all. Maybe a simple note function on CCCONERepairFacility so I don't have to switch out to my iphone notes app to write or carry a clipboard for things I will forget like what the car needs by the time I write the estimate.

Works, needs to be able to enter more info.

I’m starting estimates with CCCONERepairFacility EVERYDAY, CCCONERepairFacility works well enough, but I noticed some things that I’d like added to CCCONERepairFacility . I looked for a contact number for the developers but I’ve found nothing.

Volvo vin bar codes: Most if not ALL Volvo bar codes DO NOT work to scan at all. The lines are very thin and close together, perhaps CCC can endeavor to get these scanning.

More information for customer info: I’d like the ability to add a customers address, claim number, etc right in CCCONERepairFacility , I’d also like to be able to actually write an initial estimate right from CCCONERepairFacility .

I know these things won’t be fixed right away, but if you’re working towards that goal, please let us know.

Also, I just noticed that items have been added to the motor pages, can I get email updates when you add items to the motor pages?
Added now was;
1) Repair information retrieval/lookup
2) Maintenance costs of building or equipment
3)Trial-Fit of a component to verify dimensional accuracy of adjoining parts
4) Access to repair information/subscription cost

Finally a way to see the estimate within CCCONERepairFacility , good job. Now we are missing the search feature for returning customers with different vehicles. We have many car dealers and government agencies that bring different vehicles every week and we have to create the same customer every single time. We need to be able to search returning customers and create a new workfile within CCCONERepairFacility

Very good app

Ccc one is an excellent app but what my concern is now is that it would actually be better if were able to actually do estimates on the actual app interface on the mobile phone, but other than that it’s a good app, but just nitpicking a little bit, but it would actually make the experience a lot better if we could actually do it on a phone versus on a tablet.

No Scan, No Way!

Great app! Love using it on the daily! I’d love to be able to scan a barcode while already in the opportunity. Not just scan to create one. We run one of the highest volume shops for State Farm & Farmers and when I have an assignment already in CCC I’d love to be able to walk out with our guest, click on their name, open their work file and be able to scan the VIN barcode. Wam bam thank you ma’am! Other then that, wonderful interface and the software is very user friendly! Thumbs up guys!

Pics are TOO BIG!!!!

Picture files are way too large. Not sure why but photo files are always WAY TOO BIG when taken in the CCC APP!! I always have to save files from ccc onto my desktop, resize them then put back into ccc. It’s a major inconvenience and takes up a huge amount of time. Can y’all fix this please!! I have a new iPhone. I’m not sure how I can fix this on my end! Any suggestions would be appreciated. Other than that, I love CCCONERepairFacility ! Thanks!

CCCONERepairFacility is great. I explain to customers why I’m opening their drivers door (to scan VIN and it goes to my computer software inside giving all their car information) and all photos will be there too. I wish you’d let us view any previous info written for the estimate from that app as well. I can’t tell you what is written for or not unless I go to my computer or paper files. Especially when the people in the shop ask what was written or approved and I have to say give me a minute to pull the file

Good update but buggy

While most of the update is positive, I keep encountering a rather large issue. Typically when one takes a picture, it accepts it and one can continue. I’ve been finding that since the update occurred, it says that it’s processing the picture. It either processes for a moment (approx 3 minutes) and accepts it or it keeps processing. The end result being a red “oops” error. This thinking time span can last for a few minutes. When one has multiple vehicles to photograph, it’s quite easy to see that this would be an annoying occurrence.

Great app and tool

Would be great if when you open a new opportunity or RO in the office desktop and go out to the vehicle for the 1st time to take your pictures you could be able to scan the vin into the R0 or opportunity instead of having to photo the vin and go inside and type it into an existing new work file.
You can scan the vin into CCCONERepairFacility at the curb when you create an opportunity but if you have an existing opportunity or RO and you go out to look at the car for the first time CCCONERepairFacility will not allow you to scan the Vin into the file.

Latest update

I’m not sure if any one else is having an issue with not being able to see what they are typing when entering info. For example, after taking a photo of the license plate, it asks to input the license plate number, the keyboard blocks the section in which the info is actually being typed into. Not sure if that makes sense or if it’s just my phone.
CCCONERepairFacility is great otherwise, very convenient!

Love it- but

As a shop manager, I love CCCONERepairFacility. It makes my job and my estimators’ jobs so much easier and streamlined on the front-end, for in-process, or a quick update. I have 7+ and much prefer phone app to tablet due to photo quality and speed. It’s faster to take photos with phone app and write estimate using desktop CCC vs tablet.

1. When adding a photo/hitting the “+” arrow always pops up the “from camera” or “from folder” question. Personally I would never use my phone’s memory to store damage photos, so this is an added step that’s a pain. Maybe add a second “+ from folder” button if someone needs that, but go direct to camera if hitting the “+” while in CCCONERepairFacility .
2. After taking photos from app and trying to lock an estimate with the “images required to lock” setting enabled in CCC, it does not recognize phone app photos as an image in attachments- not sure why, but need a fix.

GREAT, but down atm..

CCCONERepairFacility is awesome! It really does make the day to day tasks a breeze making me more efficient. However, about a month ago CCCONERepairFacility is stating it is unable to connect to the internet and is completely useless as of then. It is my understanding this is actually an issue with the iPhone X. Hopefully it will be resolved soon as this has shown to be quite the inconvenience at work. For your sake, those who don’t have an X, take advantage of CCCONERepairFacility!

Use CCCONERepairFacility everyday and I agree w the one review. Please make it possible to at least be able to put arrows in the pictures to be able to point out damages!! One other thing, being able to put the customers address in would be so helpful and save time later. Hope to see some positive improvements soon

Makes the job easier!

I am old school, started writing estimates out of crash books and did not want to use CCCONERepairFacility , but it has made a portion of my job so much easier! Attaching photos is one of the main reasons. Changing phases and adding notes makes our production meeting much more efficient. Being able to go over a car with the customer at delivery and show them photos of hidden damage or even unrelated damage makes CCCONERepairFacility indispensable.
If I could make any changes it would be to have the photos time stamped.

Info is power

Love CCCONERepairFacility . I love the iPad app just a little bit more. Even with the iPad mini it’s just to much to carry around while doing rounds. If the iPhone app just had a little more info about the actual estimate, say maybe total hours or allow the priority flags to be seen. Some more details like what is in the iPad app. Not necessarily all lines or all parts just something that can be viewed like the invoice listings, not the actual attached file but a number and date when invoiced I’m seriously debating rocking a fanny pack to fit the iPad. Please don’t make me do that.

Great App

Definitely a very helpful tool to have on your phone with this application. Able to quickly check if parts are ordered, if something was added to an estimate, and even check photos to see if something was missing when the vehicle came in. Only gripes I have is I would like to be able to add some things to the estimate from my mobile device and possibly be able to order the parts straight from CCCONERepairFacility if it’s something we have already integrated on the desk top version. Other thing is I have it crash or not want to load a few times throughout the day, not sure if that’s an Apple issue or an app update issue. Other than that I think it’s a great app to have and hope to see some great updates in the future!

Love the App But....

I enjoy CCCONERepairFacility thoroughly as I use it pretty much everyday. One improvement I would like to possibly see is an option to Markup the photos similar to how you can in a text. That way you could highlight the damage on a part or area and make it more noticeable to the insurance or customer. Even if it kept one photo an original and another as a markup version.

Great App

I use CCCONERepairFacility everyday on my I phone and have used it since it’s inception. I do like how it now has the estimate available. I also work with Audatex and I can say your product is leaps and bounds above them in every respect. I also use the CCCONERepairFacility on my IPad and used the IPad for 2 days when CCC was down in my office due to issues with my employer’s computer system.
