JOANN Status

So many issues/bugs, I've had to abandon my cart countless times because of various issues. The app connection to the servers is usually slow, so it takes me a long time to do anything in the app. Some items don't show up in my cart on the app, but do when I look at my cart from the site. When I add an item to cart, but it goes out of stock before I can order (frequent during specific sales), I cannot change it to another color/type, nor remove it from my cart. The remove button doesn't work, and the save for later button disappears sometimes. Naturally, I can't check out, and if I view my cart online, the site doesn't show anything at all. Just a blank page. And there's no "clear cart" button either, so I'm stuck until the system discards my cart (usually takes several days). I typically only use the website, but the website doesn't like it when I use PayPal at the end of the checkout process. Only express paypal checkout works. And, the save for later list breaks too when an item is discontinued or removed from the website. No way to remove these entries from the list at all. Buttons don't work, the links redirect to another random item in the list. Really wish they'd invest in their tech more.

App won't let me go past the 'discover the essentials' ad. It won't display shopping ads that show discounts.

Although the cashier scans my phone every time I purchase, they never show up on my dashboard. I’m not able to take advantage of any of the missions because nothing shows up.

I cannot access notifications on my Joann app. It has the notification with the number that steadily grows but when i go to check messages, its blank. Nothing pulls up. I use an iphone 12.

I have a problem with the Joann's App. Anytime I open it, I cannot close it and cannot get Joann's app out of the focus app. I cannot do anything or get any other page to show on my phone. If I swipe off the Joann's page, it just comes right back. Even had a hard time shutting down my phone with the app showing. I have recently just deleted the app, but would love to use it again. Can you assist?

The app totally took over my phone. First, while I was trying to use it, it kept bringing me back to the weekly deals page and then lost whatever I was trying to look at when I went back to shopping, so when I tried to exit it, it wouldn't let me go out of the app and kept opening it no matter what I did. It wouldn't let me restart my phone either. A couple times I got to the restart/turn off phone page but then it wouldn't let me slide to turn off. I finally was able to get to my notifications page and turn my phone off from there. Luckily when I turned my phone back on after a few minutes it was fine and I deleted the app because I'm worried it'll happen again.

The app took over my iPhone. When I tried to switch to another app or engage Siri, it would take over my screen. Not only that, but my phone started getting really hot. There was no way for me to shut down the app from within the app and I couldn't dismiss the app because it would come right back. It took many attempts at trying to hard shut down my phone to finally get it to present me with the slide to shut down prompt.

I had to delete the app altogether. Every single time I opened it my phone became toast until the battery ran out. You couldn't go to another screen in the app or to any other app; it would just switch back to the green Joann screen. You couldn't even shut the phone off! If I accidentally opened the app I called it "the green screen of death". It's unfortunate because I used to shop on the app a lot but, not anymore and I'm not likely to put it back on my phone again.

When I try to use my Joann Fabrics app coupons at the checkout counter, there are no bar codes for the clerk to scan, so the coupons cannot be used. I updated my app but still no bar codes. Please advise how this problem can be remedied. Thank you!

All my saved items in my cart are gone. Is there a way to retrieve? They randomly show up but before I can place the order the cart starts a ‘countdown’ where the cart shows the number of items, then they drop reduced to zero.

It doesn't always show what in my cart.... It shows empty but there is a total dollar amount owed.....🤔

App not updating so can't order

Joann app states won’t update without payment. This is a free app, correct?

When checking out my items are either gone completely or the quantity has quadrupled and when going to adjust the yard amount I am replied back with “error in shopping cart”. Very frustrating. Still trying to check out right now

App will not allow me to add items to my cart, just keeps saying there is an error add this item to cart. It has been that way for months. I even just updated the app ...?

I clicked on an instagram ad for Joanns and now it won't let me exit out of the Joanns app

App won’t open. This has been a constant problem for a couple months I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled. Doesn’t open from my home and doesn’t open when I’m at Joann store This is getting old

My app is not working. It added more items than I wanted and it won’t let me remove them or save them for later. It’s very frustrating for me as I live in southeast Alaska where I have to order my yarn and supplies online. The shipping is very costly so I like to use the free shipping coupons and get supplies when they are on sale. I just wanted to order a couple skeins of yarn but my cart says I owe $98.

Cannot log into my acct thru the app on a new phone. Makes me set up new account then right after that when I log in it says I need to reset my password. It's a vicious cycle.

Cannot complete checkout. I can put items in the cart from the app but it won't let me complete the checkout process. This has been happening for weeks now.

Can’t use app … need POSCA markers, said go to Joann’s.com … it says only 2 markersleft on some i w as t to buy so it will not let me get them there. I ordered from there what it would let me.. i could put them in my basket in the app and get to check out but system down .. this happens entirely to often! Very frustrating! If i buy in store I can’t get the discount so seems like it’s just another way to screw over people . Offer more percent off to buy online and pick up and then you can’t even order anything!

Joann app is not letting me put items in cart therefore I cannot get the free shipping with coupon that expires 4/3/22
