The new app is a total mess. Bring back the moving map feature in the old app ASAP!

Impossible to search using the map now. No properties show unless you specify a town. Even then the area is limited and listings are missing. Often nothing shows at all or it defaults to strange location. Reinstate the old app, fire these developers and start again. The display format has improved but it does not show what we are looking for. Bring back the freeform map search and the more accurate pins. For now we have given up in frustration and gone to the Trademe app

Used to be great, now it’s been updated and no matter what parameters I do it crashes and won’t let me search for anything. Off to Trademe property

Realestate is great if you're looking for homes in Australia. If you live anywhere else. Well you may want to find another app

Realestate is terrible for navigation and just exploring. They used to have an option to allow you to filter on listed date but took that away as well. Back to the whiteboard guys and keep it simple

The development team got wowed by fancy design and forgot to check how people were using Realestate . Map search functionality has been severely compromised which was previously the edge Realestate contained of others offering the same thing.

You would think the most important thing when looking for a house is to view photos of the house. Well Realestate doesn’t load the photos quick enough and a lot of the time it just won’t load them making it near impossible to browse the houses for sale. Can use it so I’ve deleted it.

Each update to Realestate is worse than the last.

This is single-handedly the most frustrating app and website to use. It’s is so bloody slow to load images it’s unusable. This is on 5G.

Old, out of date listings.

I loved using Realestate, until the latest release. Now I can’t see any properties at all in the Auckland area, the search feature generates no results!

Please fix so I can use this again. I’ll have to use the website version in the meantime

Cannot get search working at all so only shows homes close to where I am.

The best thing about this app vs trademe is the ability to search within a larger group pf filters, for example choosing land size: eg 500sqm of land.

Realestate however doesn’t offer as many filters as the website, not by a long shot. Also it simply feels very old. The Trademe app is much stronger. A pity as I prefer this app’s website.

Generally a good app but recently it's constantly crashing when linking through from email/text notifications.

This is my go to real estate app but the way the search works really lets the experience down. Even with the amount of times I’ve used the search, I still struggle to get the results I want. If you’re the PM on this feature and you’re reading my review please for the love of good fix the search experience. Everything else is great.

Nice app, not sure why it's rates 2 stars (also good for people thinking of moving to NZ / AU, not just current residents)

I have 5 requests though (do at least 3 and I'll update to 5 stars):

1) land listings (lots and farm land)
2) (easy) add currency symbol to clarify NZD (just a dollar sign doesn't tell outsiders much)
3) (easy) preload next image when scrolling through photos
4) zoom on map only on double click (users are used to double, but you guys zoom on a single click)
5) (super easy) turn off 4th direction rotation (i.e., don't rotate upside down). This allows a user to lay sideways and hold their phone upside down while viewing photos in landscape mode)

pretty good app

Realestate is good for people who live in NZ. Just like Realestate states. Maybe you should have read the description before downloading. Derp.
