Historically this app in previous iterations has been functionally useless. I have installed and removed the Hiway app from my phone numerous times but because I want to use Zelle, I reinstalled it only to find there are issues within the app using Zelle that will not be resolved for at least 24 hours. So far the individuals at Highway are unable to help and so the complaint goes up the chain. It cannot verify my identity, it cannot verify my profile, it cannot verify my telephone number, and it cannot verify the telephone number of the person to whom I am sending money, who is my husband.

I have been experiencing issues with changing my contact information on the app. It just keeps loading and doesn’t end up changing. Additionally, the mobile deposit option does not work properly. Even when I take a picture of my check inside the border, it shows the check and the surrounding background!! Then my check doesn't qualify for a mobile deposit. I am quite dissatisfied with these issues and would like to see them resolved.

I recently had my bank merge with Hiway, and now that the app and mobile banking systems are finally connected, I’m finding the experience frustrating. I’m not sure if this is the old Hiway system, the app feels like something from a decade ago—clunky, outdated, and far from intuitive. The layout and functionality don’t seem as seamless or user-friendly as the app I was used to with Spire. I preferred how Spire had everything set up—it was much easier to navigate and offered a smoother overall experience. If this is Blazes idea of “modern banking,” I guess I’ll just have to lower my expectations.
