App Broken

Three is broken when buying a new data pack. When setting the plan up as auto-renew, it defaulted to an old invalid card and wouldn’t let not allow the card to be changed anywhere in Three or online. this app has the absolute worst customer service. They wasted hours of my time and were not able to help in any way.

Useless

It’s useless if you cannot even get into Three because it says you have an invalid number. An hour messaging with customer assistance and he couldn’t help a bit. He’ll put in a ticket. This, as I see from other reviews, is not even a recent problem! Who the heck is working —or not working—on Three???

Needs SERIOUS updates

Three is so broken and buggy. When I try to login and send a password link to my email it never sends. Sometimes it just puts me into a log in loop of asking for my number and my email over and over again. The help chat function is VERY slow. Waiting ten minutes for anyone to respond to me. I had to go in the store in person to achieve anything. It also saved my old number in Three , even though that number was discontinued. So I was paying for a phone number that didn’t even exist. While it appeared my new number had no service. Three is so bad, I am considering changing phone services altogether.

Unable to activate the DIY prepaid SIM

Purchased the DIY Prepaid sim ($268 HKD) online and received it 3 days later by mail (HK Postal Service). The DIY Prepaid SIM not available at Fortress electronic store. Followed the instructions on the package. It is useless. It says to download My3 App. The Apple App Store only shows this app app. I don’t know if that is the same. Anyway, will not activate the sim. Called the customer service number provided in the SIM packet, they are not helpful. Saying that customer number is only for monthly plan customers.

Additionally, 3 does not have eSim. If your mobile phone does not have SIM card slot, you can not use 3 service.

DO NOT BUY THIS !

It is like their goal is to give you the worst service possible. I bought this when i arrived to the uk hoping to use it for my journey and ended up connecting to every free wifi i could find ! Every time i say i will wait for the next city i am sure they have better coverage their i end up looking for wifi just to open google map ‘! Truly disgusting service and terrible internet not even google open up ! Stay away please do not buy their sim you will regret it.

Barely functioning app

I need the £15 monthly data plan each month so that I don’t run out of data. When I open up the Add-Ons sections, I can see the £10 pound and £20 plans. When I tap “View More” to see the £15 plan, nothing happens. When I accidentally add the wrong plan to my basket, I have to remove it from my basket - however, this removal doesn’t actually happen until I close and reopen Three 2 times. For a company of this size, their app is unacceptably terrible.

Not able to register

I purchased pay as you go SIM for mobile WiFi but unable to check my account, see how much data I have left etc because verification is only available via text and US mobile phone number is not accepted. Very frustrating. Verification should be available via email as well. Travel to UK twice a year and never know when my data will run out.
Can’t use app without registering!

Garbage Company! Stay away from Three

Countless problems with this app. I realize this goes beyond Three but still, avoid this app at all costs.

The entered my info incorrectly and made it impossible to fix, charged me twice using the wrong payment method. They directed me to Three which contains a ton of verbiage but doesn’t do anything useful.

After I’d had enough, this app made it tortuous to leave and I’m still not sure I’m free of them. What a terrible experience!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD

Three does not work. Every update the performance gets worse and worse. It does not let you into your account it just gives a blank screen most of the time. Often when I try to purchase an add-on, it places the add to cart button outside of my screen! So it is impossible to actually add anything to the cart.

DO NOT USE

Current app requires IOS 14 or later so I can no longer use it on my iphone 6?

I used this app before with no problem. Haven’t been using it since the pandemic and now I tried to login my account and was unsuccessful. can’t update either as my iphone 6 can only update to the ios version 12.5.7 and Three requires ios 14 or later. Do I have a buy a new smartphone now in order to use this app?

One day Boost - Not working

So I maxed out my data usage. Then paid £5 for a one day pass because I need the GPS to work since I’m new here. It does not work. No data at all! It’s been 4 hours and it doesn’t work!

When you tried contacting them with “contact us” it just takes you to the “Help” page and circles you around to the same thing.

I tried sending a message through the forum finally. However I got a sorry no one is available to help you out at this time. Our hours are weekends 9am-8pm and today is Sunday 6pm!

I’m out of words I don’t even need it anymore. Just gimme back my £5. I was lost and had to find another way to get home.

Just an Upsell Tool

this app’s app it’s basically an upsell tool, not geared toward the customer but toward their profits. There’s nothing Three offers that I can’t do on the this app website.
Each time I go on Three to purchase an add-on for my PayG account, they offer me an expensive one (£35) in very large print instead of the £15 one I have always purchased. Then in tiny print at the very bottom of the page, is a link to view all add-ons. It is still difficult to select the tiny link, even on my large phone screen, instead of the link to purchase their expensive add-on.
Also, beware of maintenance days when both app and website are offline. If you need to do something urgent on your account, you will have to wait until the next day.

Finally able to log in

After the last update I’m finally able to register an email address and log in. this app stars in grudge for the first 10 months of service where that wasn’t possible and I never heard back on details feedback I shared on the problems I was facing.

Mine is disappeared in account after reset and 10 hrs I don’t to reach out impossible b careful they will run away with your advances

Worked great!

I traveled to England and Spain in October. I bought a this app card for the first time. It went all very smoothly. Activation of the card in the USA took about two hours and when I had a little problem with Three I called customer service and they resolved the problem immediately. I had no trouble while in Europe whether I was in Spain or England. The only reason why I gave only four stars is because when I tried to make phone calls to the US I believed that I could use the credit that I had but I was not able to make phone calls. I did not have the time to talk to customer service so I just called the USA using WhatsApp.

Simple to use

Three is great, responsive, and simple to use. My only challenge is that it’s not available in the US App Store. As someone who travelled from the US to work on a long term project in the U.K., it was a fluke I even managed to get Three installed on my phone.

Finally available for US!

It’s about time! I travel back and forth for work to the UK so I’ve had a this app SIM for a long time. Thank you for FINALLY making Three available to US users. Now if only you allow up to top up with a US credit card like EE does.

Traveled to England

Very easy to use and provide updates regarding your Top Up. Note if you do not have a Uk credit card, you will have to go into a this app store to top up. No worries. Staff inside are quick & informative.

Three Pay as You Go

As a pay as you go customer I find Three easy and straight forward, but what I think Three really could a widget, maybe with remaining allowances or pay as you go balances. Otherwise, it's useful and serves its purpose.

Long time customer

Top service always,great signal where ever I go.
