Absolute garbage of an app. Always an error when trying to retrieve your boarding pass. Incredibly frustrating.

Lost about $1800 to these people. Awful company, stupid how they handled all the COVID cancellations. Now going out of business and taking my money with them.

This airline is terrible. Their customer service people are rude and unhelpful. If you ask a question because you do not understand they threaten you. They asked for personal information over the phone, passport, social and birthdate... when I asked why it was required they tried to intimidate me saying they won’t help me and refused to let me speak with a manager. When I called back it was worse. Their online check in system and app are so terrible they are anti-helpful. Very disappointed that I tried to avoid this company after one bad experience and my Delta flight ended up being serviced by them and requiring me to interact with them.

I’ve kept tracked of a flight for several days. Each day the flight lands at its published time regardless how late it departs. Today the application reports the flight is “in flight” and actual arrival time indicated the flight has arrived. The tab for contacting the company is by telephone only NO! Texting. The application forces the user to enter all information concerning the users flight regardless of the fact that info’s available within the database forcing the use to waste time and remember information that already exists. I hope this company’s pilots fly their delta airplanes then the reservation software

this app made me check in my carryon bag making the excuse that it is because of weight. My bag never even made it on the plane. It was delivered to my home 3 days after arriving. It wasn’t fully zipped and had obviously been opened and inspected. I WASN’T supposed to check my CARRYON bag. This wouldn’t have happened if this app had competent workers. Not impressed with this airline. Their food wasn’t good either. And the service from the flight attendants was semi-professional. I will be avoiding this airline in the future and will only fly with them if I get dirt cheap tickets... maybe.

If you ask for help in the Rome Airport from any associate if this app, you just made the ultimate mistake. They will first steer you down the nearest corridor and laugh with coworkers as you walk away, knowing they told you wrong. Ask anyone but a this app worker.
Alitalia is completely useless, you cannot check in on line. You cannot get seating assignments unless you approach the luggage check in counter.
How is this app still in business???

If your only option for travel is this app you’d be far better off staying home. Antiquated, dirty planes, inedible food and the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Service was so bad, my tour agency has discontinued booking on this app. Alitalia is rudimentary and only marginally better than the service. Avoid both at all costs.

All I want is to get my boarding pass in my wallet without having to download your app and create an account. Why can’t European airlines learn how to streamline technology? Why does this app (and others) force people to download its app? this app should simply provide the same basic service through its regular portal!

All you can really do on Alitalia is find your booking. It does not allow you to check in or download a boarding pass which makes it essentially worthless. I’ve tried to use Alitalia for two years now and still no progress.

Continua a non funzionare. È incredibile...a distanza di qualche anno dal lancio della app ancora riuscite a non farla funzionare!! A questo punto inizio a pensare che la reale intenzione sia di non farla funzionare e ci state riuscendo benissimo!!

It keep being useless and not working after years from first launch! Apparently the real goal of this developer is to make a non working app and if this is the case....great job! You are doing it perfectly!!

It’s telling me to update Alitalia cause my version is no longer supported but there is no update for it. Guess I’ll have to use the website but why even have an app if it’s not gonna work properly

I tried on-line and then Alitalia . I even called the airline. I was told to check-in at the airport because she couldn’t help me. Ridiculous!!!

So I purchased Alitalia for $1 and once it downloaded, it kept saying 403, Are you lost? What a complete waste. I’ve tried re-downloading it and restarting my phone. Nothing, Nada, Zip.

Careful - Alitalia if used to book travel from the USA will NOT comply with the USA law allowing cancellation of your booking for no fee within 24 hours of booking.
I booked airfare using Alitalia, and then called to cancel within 24 hours, and the representative from the Airline was quite rude and told me that they did not have to honor the USA laws on the 24 hour refund because the booking from Alitalia “goes through Italy” and therefore they have no legal obligation to honor USA law to USA users booking travel from the USA on Alitalia . The rep refused to get a supervisor on the line when I politely requested this multiple times, and told me she would hold the line as long as needed until I hung up. My credit card company’s Fraud department had to cancel the booking on my behalf.
AWFUL experience! BEWARE of Alitalia, and the airline!

I am pretty tech savvy and travel often. So I was surprised how difficult it was to create a new account with this app-an airline we have never used. The first CSR yelled and insulted me because he said it wasn’t his responsibility to help business class passengers check in on line. After he refused to transfer me to the appropriate person nor the supervisor when I requested it, he told me to hang up. When I asked again to speak to someone he said he will stay on the phone forever until I hung up. So I called this app on a different phone (and he hung up) and spoke to a nice CSR who gave me wrong information. It took me an hour to figure out how to get everything on the computer and then another 10 minutes to get my tickets on Alitalia . Oh boy......what a way to start a vacation in ROME.

I couldn’t even login.
The pw retrieval is a nightmare. The PIN does not work.
Alitalia left me completely frustrated.
Other travel apps work fine.

App shows flights ... but no apparent gate info. No link to airport map. Not a great app ... just so-so.

Take from an Italian, this is a terribly run airline.
I was flying business with the and they just decided to cancel all my miles.
