2 years agoUnable to get the sun newspaper app to work on my iPad since yesterday Saturday 18th dec, tried to delete app and re order which I thought I’d done, cost of paper seems to have risen by £2.00 per month all of a sudden. Still when I press on the app or press on open it just goes back to my home page, really frustrating.

2 years agoI've requested, several times, for my subscription to be cancelled to no avail. I am being charged two and three times a week. Within three weeks I've been charged $15.96 three times. Please, please cancel any future subscription. Charges are being made from two different accounts. How so?

Latest update now requires you to make an account in order to access the articles. While the articles are free, there is no reason why a free newspaper would force you to make an account. Daily Mail, Daily Mirror and Daily Star are all free and better apps, so I will stick with these. None require an account. I deleted the Sun app.

Just Another Clickbait Tabloid with No Substance of Honesty
I’m not mad that they post uncorroborated slander on a daily basis. I’m mad they post uncorroborated slander on a daily basis and none of it is interesting. Most articles are authored by people who write at a 6th grade level and think at a 3rd grade level. I expected nothing out of this news outlet yet still, somehow, found myself disappointed.

Slow to load
I started using this app and it’s very slow to load images/content. Even when in WiFi. Other apps load content immediately when connected to the same network. Also noticed my phone gets really hot when using it (iPhone 11 Pro Max)
