My complaint is that I have been a SunTimes user for multi years. I would like to renew but the fee of $158 for a senior citizen is unreal especially when one is paying total for a year. It appears, but not indicated on the bill, (I had to call to send me in an email, information that special issues lower the subscription time) but for the same fee. If I am paying a full year but charged for special issues then I am only paying for 10 months not a full year. This does not seem right. My receipt from last Dec.2022 shows my next renewal is for 12-03-2023 not 10/30/2023. Please advise before I make the decision to cancel or not. Thanking you in advance.

One star because it spreads information about actually events. Kinda like a timeline would. -4 stars because it is unfortunately opinionated news to a level of discrepancy that could change a viewers outlook on the story. Sience fiction books an many others alike, hold stories that we read, to in hopes, believe. Then you shut the novel an say; “That was a good story”. News, should be nothing of the same but dull, and straightforward.

Not User Friendly

I complained about logging in daily to use this app. I was told this was a Suntimes app requirement. This is on my tablet which I use only, what are they afraid off, any app I use that requires a password is only required when you first use this app.
What a pain, I’ve been a Suntimes reader for 40 years, when I’m out of Chicago area I use this app, they don’t deliver to Texas that I’m am aware of.
New app hasn’t worked at all in over a week.

I’m still a paid subscriber to the CST and so it is frustrating that an app upgrade has made it unusable on my Apple devices. I’m told it’s a technical glitch and to use the website to read the paper. The website does allow you to read the paper but with endlessly blinking ads above it which are very distracting. When I purchase a paper, I purchase it without having to worry about someone flashing endless distractions in my face. That should be true regardless of what format I purchase it in.
