Cannot log in

Took me to their website. Logged in and nothing happened to BuildingLinkResidentApp .

This app is terrible

It just flat out doesn’t work. It just keeps glitching and refusing to even log in. And it’s not just BuildingLinkResidentApp but also the website it’s also just constantly glitching. I’ve been attempting to use BuildingLinkResidentApp for a week with zero success.
0 stars if I could and sorry to anyone with no choice but to use BuildingLinkResidentApp .

No push notifications

BuildingLinkResidentApp no longer has Notifications despite what the developers put in the description. It does not show up in iOS settings either. BuildingLinkResidentApp was fine before the rebuild and now it lost one of its most important features. Please fix. Thanks.

Deliveries not shown in app

My buildings management company changed in October 2024 and since then, no deliveries are ever shown in BuildingLinkResidentApp . I get building link notifications that I have a delivery, but no deliveries in BuildingLinkResidentApp . Building management was no help with the issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled BuildingLinkResidentApp but no luck.

Horrible, useless app

No push notifications, and it takes about four close/reload cycles to get it to update.

If you want residents to get the notifications they want and other timely info, don’t use this.

No Longer Can Post Anonymously

Used to be able to post without your name, or delete a comment or edit to add. Can’t now. I was wondering why my bulletin was so sparse with feedback the past few weeks.

Useless

BuildingLinkResidentApp no longer works for what I mainly need it for—doesn’t show when I have a delivery at front desk.

App doesn’t have full functionality on iPad

I have the Building Link app on my iPhone 14 Pro, and the functionality is much better. I’m able to see documents and see my click pay info. BuildingLinkResidentApp, Building Link, Residential, installed on my iPad Pro, has just the basics. I’d like to be able to do more on my iPad, since there’s a bigger screen. Unfortunately, I have to rely on my iPhone for complete information and to pay my condo fees.

Sneaky front desk instruction bug

There’s a sneaky front desk instruction bug that causes all start / end dates to be pushed forward by 1 day. It’s caused guests to not be able to enter the building. Please fix this!

Update made it worse, if that’s possible

Now I can no longer see the employees who work in my building.

Can’t switch accounts

I own 3 properties all use buildinglink. Can’t figure out how to switch between my accounts

Terrible design!

Your software people are clearly in over their heads. Doing more only made it worse. House of cards.

Resident

I do not find BuildingLinkResidentApp useful at all. I would like it to be able to get it on my home page.

Basics missing - Need notifications

This is the first time I've used it, but I see from other reviews a previous version did what I'm looking for. Not only does BuildingLinkResidentApp NOT push notifications, but there are no badges. You must open it to see anything. That rather defeats the purpose of use. I might as well wait for my building to email me 'cause I'll check my email more often than thinking about opening BuildingLinkResidentApp. Plus, it doesn't allow basic stuff like changing preferences. I do like that I can submit maintenance requests, but that doesn't completely sell BuildingLinkResidentApp .

Review v3.0.0

I updated BuildingLinkResidentApp to v3.0 on my iPhone and BuildingLinkResidentApp has got a better feel as compared to before. But couple of things which are still broken and need to be fixed especially in the marketplace tab which I have played around with:
Send message doesn’t work at all this completely breaks the purpose of having marketplace as I’m not able to contact with the people who have posted, neither can I see their email address.
Enable copy option for description text as many people post their phone number in the description and it’s usually efficient to copy the number and then call using the copies text instead of writing the number on a paper or going back and forth between BuildingLinkResidentApp and dail pad.
Also it would be good to have some type of sorting functionality in this tab, a helpful one I can think of is by posted date, as the older items might have already been sold.

App support could be better

BuildingLinkResidentApp idea is great, however, functionality is still not fully developed. It would be great if the following efficiencies are added.
1) update alerts from profile page to have notifications sent only for select features ( eg notification of the incoming package). Currently, notifications, if turned on, are sent for every item posted in marketplace, or any changes made on the site.
2) marketplace - when clicking on the description line, the page that opens shows long paragraph of Latin words starting with Loren ipsum... Please fix- marketplace feature is useless with this glitch
3) app is missing a number of features available via web portal. I only find it useful to check (manually) if I have any deliveries waiting. We had a major incident on the property recently that initiated lockdown. Building link was not utilized ( but could have) to disseminate alerts. Also push notifications for select features such as community newsletters or important announcement is still not available. Resident to resident messaging should be enabled. Resident database should be available via app with search function.

Functional but Outdated UI

BuildingLink works well for basic needs, but the UI feels outdated, like it’s from the early 2000s. An updated design and better iOS integration, such as widgets, would make it much more user-friendly. Room for improvement.

Very Useful--can be better

3 buildings that I have lived in in New York use Building Link, and I find it very useful to communicate instructions with our building staff, and to see who my neighbors and full building staff and manage my are. There are many features that I do not use, only because they are not used by our building (I.e. Relevant documents are not posted in the library and not many people use the listings so they are not that helpful). I think if Building Link had ongoing training to helped building management and residents see/learn how to better integrate BuildingLinkResidentApp , it could be a very, very, valuable and value-added asset to buildings. Also--the interface is not very visually appealing--it feels cheap and dated. I think a rebranding to look more premium would be helpful to their marketing efforts.

Nice app

I enjoy using this. Thanks for experience.

Nice update

App is much nicer after the update!
