Doesn't open new version

Tells me there is a newer version of FidoMyAccount installed. Then required me to log in again. Then it doesn't work. What newer version? I just re-downloaded FidoMyAccount from FidoMyAccount Store.

FidoMyAccount is worse than the website! On the web you always get "oops something went wrong, we're working to resolve it". On FidoMyAccount , you get a blank screen. Tapping on services from the hamburger menu gets stuck in the fade animation and shows nothing (iOS 10). Status bar is black, nav is yellow. That says a lot. Transitions from one screen to another messes up navigation stack. You can go from billing to payment history to billing to payment history infinitely. You'll have to also press the back button infinitely. App is a joke.

Fido Preventing Cancellation

When I finally got through to Fido to have them cancel on my last day of service, the process took forever, and the idiot on the phone lied to me about my end date. This ultimately led to him canceling my service quite a few days early today, so I’m without a plan and unable to contact anyone by phone before I leave the country. These guys are snakes just like Rogers. (I’m an electrical engineer, I know how easy it would be for them to get this right. It would have had to been negligence, or Fido would have had to have done it on purpose to cause this issue).

This is targeted at Fido, not FidoMyAccount specifically. I’ve been trying to discontinue my phone number for days and can’t get through to a rep via calling, chatting, or Facebook messaging. Not to mention their website states you can only call to disable your account.

I had nothing against them before, I just have to move out of the country for a few months and want to stop paying for a number in Canada. Now that they’ve wasted hours of my time and cases an incredible amount of frustrating attempting to discontinue service with them, I certainly do have something against them at this point. Not to mention I need to cancel before the next billing cycle. What if it was ending now? I would be forced to pay for another month because they won’t answer their phones or chats.

It would seem illegal that Fido is preventing cancellation. Not to mention the fact that it’s so frustrating I would never even consider using this company again when there are other equivalent companies.

I hope this is useful for someone that is searching for a new provider.

New update broke data bytes. FidoMyAccount is now basically useless.

It is hard to fathom that this company can not make a simple app that actually works!

Can’t log in

As usual Fido app not working for me. “Your session timed out” I see for a two month. Have to log in through pc :(

Won’t open!

I don’t know what has happened to FidoMyAccount lately but I have not been able to open it and see my balance in days. It’s frozen on the first loading screen and never loads. Further I can’t long into my account either. Weird. All I want to do is view my balance and pay it. I do paperless so accessing my account is important. It wasn’t always this way.
I made some account changes but nothing that shouldn’t let me view my updated balance. So frustrating to have to call now to figure it out.

Bug with latest update

Updated to the latest version on iPhone and FidoMyAccount no longer opens.

Bug in mobile app v 4.16.0, I can not login in my account!

Bad developers! Fix it asap when updated to new version this fido app, i cant login into my account!

I can’t even get into the app

It keeps asking me for my account number I don’t even have account number… it was very nice that I received dog tags for my baby but I can’t even use FidoMyAccount

Sign in doesn’t work

I have downloaded FidoMyAccount at least 10 times it never lets me sign in except for the guest sign in, I have texted todo for support and not even their support knows how to solve this issue, the guest sign in is limited and doesn’t let me manage or pay my own bill, so if you ask me: worst app ever!

App has been under maintenance for 2 days

I want to activate the 5 extra hour feature but can’t since FidoMyAccount has been under maintenance for 2 days. I have to spend my current data. There’s no other way to activate it anywhere else either. Clearly shows how reliable Fido services are when they can’t even fix their own app in 2 days

Upgrade doesn’t extend to tablets

I have a tablet on my plan as well and its usage report is still delayed 12 hours.

I have an IPhone with talk and data plan. I had updated the Fido app several times for real-time update feature, but still FidoMyAccount updates my mobile data usage every 12 hours...

Moving between different numbers

Moving between different numbers has some problem I think. First it needs to log in while you have logged in before! Second when you log in, you are guided through first page of previous number and then you can choose to go to other numbers information. It is somehow hard and meaningless! I believe it should be done just by one tap, not several steps!
