NASA images are of course Amazing. But APODNASAWidgetPhotos links/sends you to external websites for some content. What’s the point if APODNASAWidgetPhotos then. I can find things online/youtube/etc. without it. I don’t want to rely on or Trust the company’s web choices or safety. Deleting and sorry I can’t recommend downloading or paying for this.

The "news" articles are only 1 sentence summaries of the full stories with no links to read more. Streaming video does not work. It is clear to me that APODNASAWidgetPhotos only exists to get your money! Too bad Apple has a no refund policy. APODNASAWidgetPhotos would be a rip-off even if it was free...

their should be a BBB or BBW for this can not read the news to small updates are from utube can not stand well keep my $.99 penny's in hoping their will be better in the updates for sure or i will big time ripe it off my itouch and hope for clear skys to look up at the stars myself

Nice app, but on a small screen you really need pan and zoom capability on the images. Back to the APOD website with me.

Real time NASA TV only 40 seconds behind, not bad at all!

Update: APODNASAWidgetPhotos only worked for the first day, then suddenly the videos only play audio(black screen), and the NASATV only plays the SAME 15 SECOND CLIP OF MISSION CONTROL OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER... No realtime footage anymore.
I look forward to a well functioning app in the future, at which time I will provide a new rating.
It is however a novel idea.

Nasa TV part of it just got fixed!!! Its about a 45 second delay from live television.... Which isn't bad at all. The only problem i still have is with the video files. The video files only play audio and the video part of it doesnt show up... The screen just stays black. Hope this gets fixed SOON! Poor quality for a $1.99!

Not waste of . Ok there is a glitch with the video's, if you try and watch NASA tv and try and launch the videos you get audio with no video. Just hit your home button and relaunch APODNASAWidgetPhotos go right to videos and fixed. Developers are working hard to get the NASA Tv fixed, be patiant. Feel much better about spending my  on APODNASAWidgetPhotos. Once they fix the nasa tv feed tjis will get a  from me. 

I do wish you could simply swipe between images. Otherwise, it's great!

Please, I got APODNASAWidgetPhotos for quick access to the NASA TV feed, and all I EVER get is a 30 second loop about water on Mars and the moon. Please fix APODNASAWidgetPhotos and I will give you the fifth star back!

App works great. Only purchased for NASA TV feature. It's streaming "live" with a 2 and a half minute delay but quality is excellent. NASA has 5 channels: Public, Media, Education, Space Station and Mission Audio. APODNASAWidgetPhotos only streams Public. Suggestion to allow us to pick the channel as well as reduce delay. Recommendation: buy it.

Overall, this is one of my favorite Apps! This weekend however, the audio became garbled, indicating a streaming issue. I have faith this will be resolved in the next day or so. All in all, it's great to have an App like this if you follow Nasa!

I really like APODNASAWidgetPhotos, but I have one problem. The news stories seem to be summaries, and there are no images that go with the story. For instance, the story about the Hubble refurbishment said to check out the new photos. Problem is that there are no pics in the article. Am I missing something?

APODNASAWidgetPhotos is a wonderful and simple way to keep track of all things space and NASA, I use it every day. The new version made a lot of great improvements but there are some things that could be improved still. You can now see the latest Cassini and Mars images but the quality is not good. To get a decent resolution you have to follow the website link and that is difficult to read. Is there a way to preview these images at full quality like the NASA photo of the day? The news section now gives you short versions of the story easily viewable on the iPod which is great, but could the whole article appear this way? If I want to read more I have to browse to the webpage which is hard to read on a screen this small. Keep improving APODNASAWidgetPhotos SpaceGeek, I love it!

OS 4.0 not allowing video of live NASA TV ... Says format is not supported.

The developer fixed this issue on the server side and is now working great. In fact it's the only app that streams NASA TV to iPhone with 4.0 on it.

APODNASAWidgetPhotos has been one of my favs, the NASA TV stream really completes the expreience. Today I used it to watch the spacewalk and it looked great even over 3G. Nice job!

APODNASAWidgetPhotos is the best value of any app I've bought yet. It does so much, I learned a lot about NASA and the space programs that I never knew about. The live features and feeds are great, it's new each time I open it. Very well executed idea.

Very cool app that saves me loads of time visiting various sites to find all this info...and all from my phone no less! Well worth the dollar...it's a steal!

Could have a few more things (alerts, mission clock section, more RSS feeds) but APODNASAWidgetPhotos is incredibly fun to go through and I love watching NASAtv!!

I would get it just for the pics and Nasa tv. If you are interested in Nasa it is worth the money. I love it.

This is probably the best NASA application available. Works as advertised. There is about a 3 minute delay on the streaming NASA TV. Obviously, the developer can't do much about with online delays, but something to be aware of none the less. The fact you can watch NASA TV at all is awesome considering that since Apple won't enable Flash you can't even stream it over Safari on an iPhone! Great job. Don't know what some people whining about.

APODNASAWidgetPhotos DOES NOT STREAM LIVE NASA TV! Very disapointed. It just plays the same clip over and over. Total rip off! Apple should eliminate developers who false advertise!

Update: contacted the developers and they told me they are working on getting the streaming video fixed. They also said to wait 3 to 5 days and it should come back when it goes down. I'm giving it a week.

Last update: the developer is actually on top of this. He said he is using a backup stream for now until he can find a permanent one. It works now and I told him I would give APODNASAWidgetPhotos the rest of the stars if it works consistently. Good customer service (so far) This is my last update so if you see 5 stars in a week or two, the NASA TV sould work fine.
