I had high hopes for WalkieTalkieVOIP however I cannot even rate/try it! It will not install onto the iphone. It told me to dl it from WalkieTalkieVOIP store, when I did it told me the phone could not be verified. I totally threw away my money. Don't buy it until it is fixed! Hopefully it will work then...if it does, I will change my rating. For now, do NOT BUY until it works on 2.2. I am guessing the problem is within there.

Donate $2.00 in the church for poor, please do not buy this application! I have no clue how apple can approve such useless paid applications! very poor gui. no stright forward option for voip user setup. download free application like fring and user their SIP option. This does not allow me to configure my sip server settings!!!! on top of that some franatic SOB placing calls to my account!!!!

Like the user below I tried to install it direct and then got the message 'cannot install...' I have synch'd several times since then and it still won't install.

This little app carries big implications in its proof of concept, current version. My son in Germany called me (in the US) on his Touch yesterday. Free and clear. My Monster Cable mic is on order. Cheap and simple. The developer is within spitting range of a killer app. Can't wait for 2.0.

This is a app worth buying. The developer is very responsive. If you looking for real time communications using your Internet connection to talk with friends then this is a must have app.

International calls are very expensive, but this program def. Is worth it because 2 dollars for a clear phone call anywhere is the best deal in the world! Plus great support if you ever need help with the program and very quick response! If you are looking to call overseas consider this you greatest asset!

WalkieTalkieVOIP works awesome no additional charges and the call quality is great it had a few kinks at first but justin is more than willing to work with you to have it up and running if you are getting a echo in your call just turn the volume down in your iPhone great work justin

My boyfriend and I use WalkieTalkieVOIP to keep in touch. He will be in France another 4 months. There is a slight echo but I found that it was not as bad if you hold the phone slightly away from you.

This is app amazing. Easy to setup and use. Highly recommended for people on the go. A laptop or iphone with a wifi connection (which is free in a lot of places with ATT), and you're good to go. The ability to use WalkieTalkieVOIP over EDGE and/or 3G would be nice, although ATT or Apple would most likely frown upon that. All in all, not too shabby. Not too shabby at all.

Love WalkieTalkieVOIP just wish it had something that let's u know when someone is calling when ur not in that app so I hope u guys can do this

Has anyone else had this problem. I bought the WalkieTalkie VOIP APP via my iPhone (1st generation, 8 GIG, running 2.2 iPhone softare). When i downloaded it directly, a screen dialogue box appeared that said, " Unable To Download Application" "WalkieTalkie VOIP will be availble to download when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer". Which i did, and then synched and then received a dialogue box that said, "The Application WalkTalkie VOIP could not be installed the iPhone because it could not be verified." Has anyone else had this problem? Any clues or help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Works great! I love it! I talk to my husband when we're apart. Sounds great and is helpful when u don't want to use too many minutes up. I love that there isn't a fee, too!

A completely FREE (after the two bucks) way to talk to my friends and family no matter where in the world they are! Money well spent.

I use VOIP on a daily basis to call friends overseas on their computers. I've been waiting for an iPhone application that will allow me to make those calls without having to carry my laptop around. WalkieTalkie is a great solution, good sound quality and no lags allow for hassle-free and reliable conversations.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the party you are calling needs to have WalkieTalkie installed on the device they're using but there are versions for Windows and Mac available for free.

I really love WalkieTalkieVOIP! I use it talk to my mom in Brazil and it's awesome. My mom now uses her headphones (she also uses her laptop)in order to get rid of echo. So worth the price.

I have a jailbroken iPhone GS and have been forcing WT over 3G/EDGE for quite some time....I can attest that WT works flawlessly, with essentially no lag and NO dropped calls, even while being on an EDGE data connection. This is a great app to use to help keep your cell phone minute usage down. I also use Skype since it is more widely used and has slightly better call quality (and can also be forced over 3G/EDGE if using a jailbroke iDevice). I think this is a great app and by far the simplest to use (no account setup, no user/pass info needed, etc...

Ok people...I buy lots of apps and I have not giving a one star to any other apps but this one. It's just doesn't work. B.S. Of app.

The main problem with WalkieTalkieVOIP is, it's not nice. It looks great, but its too complex. I figured it out in a few minutes, but computer idiots like my mom couldn't figure it out in a million years. Some people just don't speak that language. You should make an "idiot proof" mode, where to make a conference server is a button push, no boxes of random numbers (those especially scare tech idiots), and all you need is a user name. Type in someones user name and you join their room, simple as that. Just go through your app in your grandma's shoes or something, look for things that might confuse her and make them easy. Otherwise, WalkieTalkieVOIP is great, it just works. Keep up the great work!
