This is a horrible update. It’s not user friendly at all. Smart Parking is nowhere to be found. The movie theater can’t even find it nor can anyone in parking customer service. I’ll be expecting a refund.

I can’t believe this was released in its current state. No access to smart parking.

What on earth did this app do Westfield . I went to the movies last and I drove in like normal using the smart parking. Then I went and seen a movie which was great by the way. So I go to open Westfield so I can get my validation. To my surprise I get a notification that I must download the new version. Signed in guest what. No smart parking buttons. So for 15 minutes I’m trying everything so I finally see some barcode and try to scan it and it says not found. Remember this is 2 am so finding staff is next to impossible. But I did eventually. The guy told me yeah we have been having numerous issues with the smart parking. So he give me a day pass and this will get you out. So I drive up guess what. The smart parking didn’t recognize my plate. So I tried the barcode on my phone. That didn’t work. Then I stuck the day pass in guess what that didn’t work either. So I had to keep ringing the little button until someone answered and let me out the parking garage. Come on this is 2023 you are supposed to test Westfield before you release. Oh this was at Century City mall

Feels weird to not be able to use Apple Pay for smart parking. Also, the smart parking isn’t working great

Just went to open Westfield the get my smart parking transaction info, and was redirected to “Update,” which was actually a redirect to download a completely new app. Westfield doesn’t have any Smart Parking information even though my center (this app Century City) is a Smart Parking participant. Where is my historic information? Why is this update worse than the other app (which worked perfectly fine)? Help would be appreciated!

Seems like development of Westfield was contracted and handed over without review. It’s over designed and hard to navigate, and they removed the Smart Parking barcode to scan, which was the only reason why I had Westfield installed in the first place. Save yourself the trouble and unregister your car from your account until Smart Parking is appropriately supported, otherwise you’ll have no way to validate.

Westfield update is terrible. I need to update my info for smart parking but can’t even access my info in that section of the website and app. Keep getting error messages. Last time I went to Century City Mall, got in easily but couldn’t get out and barcode didn’t work. Eventually got out but it was not an easy experience. Please fix this bug!

The new version does not support smart parking. It’s a forced update, so there’s no way to use the old app. Without access to the old app, there’s not even a way to remove your vehicle plates from the system. The garage cameras still let you in (can’t imagine why they have disabled entry via plates), but you’re in, good luck getting out.

Westfield has zero functionality and was supposed to be a replacement to the this app US app that had smart parking options. That is now gone with this replaced app. All of the features and menu options do not provide any information and have zero functionality. Good luck using this thing.

Completely new download - only thing that remained was my log-in. What happened to Smart Parking? You can still find mention of it in Westfield with now way to activate. Plus bad English like “Personal Informations.” For the love of grammar please remove the “s.”

Smart Parking is gone on this update! Like other reviews, I sat there waiting, pressing the button, mind you there this a pile of cars behind me. Finally someone on opened the gate! Very stressful experience. Fix Westfield !

Poor customer service, so you updated Westfield but there’s no explanation as far as smart parking. This parking situation with Smart parking is a disaster and it’s worse now!!

It says in Westfield there is a barcode I can use. I tried using it at amc’s validation machine - it showed an “unsuccessful” message. I didn’t get charged for the visit so I’m assuming it somehow worked? But this is really confusing. Also can I not put the new code in apple wallet like I could with the other app? Would love to not have to scramble around Westfield to find the validation barcode that may or may not actually work.

Sitting in a this app mall on the free (unsecured) this app Wi-Fi, with location tracking enabled and Westfield still can’t correctly identify even what country I am in let alone offer any member benefits - avoid!

Westfield crashes every time I try to save my card details. Never let me use smart parking, useless

App is hard to navigate and doesn’t seem to actually include smart parking even though it claims to.

This new app is horrible in comparison. Used to be a good app to navigate the mall with. But now has been replaced by what seems to be unintuitive bloatware.

Spent 30 minutes looking for smart parking to validate. It has never been good, but now is a disaster.

Where the f is smart parking, how about let us know before this decision was made and doesn't even work.

TLDR: To use smart parking, tap the lower right icon, on the my personal account section, tap advantages and services -> tap sign up and that activates the smart parking feature if you’d already signed up.

I was holding off on downloading Westfield because I read all the “smart parking not working” reviews. But it gets very annoying when I can only go in but not coming out without asking for help every time. I eventually gave in and looked inside out of Westfield to figure out if the smart parking feature is hidden somewhere, that’s when I found out I have to “sign up” for it again (actually I’m just reactivating it but the term they use is very confusing plus there’s no indication that signing up “VIP” would give access to smart parking 😓). Westfield itself was ok, but I’m only opening it when I have to sign-in again occasionally when the smart parking stop working from time to time.

I swear that was the only good thing about Westfield. The ability to drive in and out and have it automatically deduct the payment from your credit card. Now it’s gone. Stupid!! Bring that functionality back!

When Westfield launched it was brilliant. Made me excited to go to the mall. Now it barely works. Pulling into the parking lot is now fraught with anxiety. Will it work? And every time I launch Westfield , it says, download the new update and sends to Westfield Store where I discover… I already have the current version.

Most ridiculous “visit” app I’ve used. The map has no search function that I can see and crashes if you tap a store. Haven’t yet found the “itinerary” function.

Map useless for finding where a store or restaurant is located in the mall. At least should give a section number or area. Ok for parking but not finding a particular store.

When searching for the movie theater, that I know is there, location in Westfield Westfield crashes.

Location of restaurants seems to work though.
