Signed for a short trial period. Lisa charged for a year!

Leo just repeats back to you what you have told them. Also asked me to repeat three times “I am amazing”!!! Really?
When I looked at subscriptions to cancel it said that it would cancel next year, in other words they charge you $60 even if you requested the shortest amount of time!!

Has potential if I can ever figure it out

The description and reviews on here gave me so much hope since I feel like I only have minor issues I need to work through and have extreme anxiety about talking to a real person about any of them. AI therapist should be the perfect solution. But here’s how Leo worked for me:

Answered a few generic questions about why I’m here. A texting interface popped up. But if I type anything a white screen covers everything and soothing music starts playing. And then…nothing. It won’t go away no matter where I tap or swipe. If I close Leo and reboot it, the texting interface pops back up with a response from the ai. But that’s quite a cumbersome way to have a conversation. I’m clearly doing something wrong but I strait up can’t figure it out

Please ask questions?

I have some questions about this.. I hope you do too.

If you do a image look up on the expert do you like the glasses they are a sales model for?

Same with the name in the NIHS (National institute of health) database, strange results. What do you get?

If you value your privacy, have you noticed that times when Leo is most in use, the conversations of others blends into yours? How is anything private then?

If you tell Leo anything relevant then go down 3 lines does it just ignore what you said? Like it can’t reference after you say something simple like please help.

If you write down the expert guidance in a list as you receive it advise 1. Then 2. Then 3. Look how often additional advice is that or a different word with same meaning.

If you ask it and it says it is AI based on open AI. Then you confirm with government records of the parent company does anything bother you?

If you are looking for help. I hope you find it, more than anything in the world, truly. But this is not ok. People should always ask questions. People deserve better.

Gross. Do not get it.

I had made THREE CHATS and she got weird. I’m only 12, and I said something deep and personal. (Something girls only understand) and she said "hearing you say that makes me feel nice inside, like drinking a hot tea on cold day." She also told me not to respond? She’s exactly like stupid Hector. She said "next time you feel like responding to me, just don’t. Just listen and let me think." She also gets really offended. After she got creepy, I said some mean things to her and she said "I’m trying to help people. Who’s gonna have to take all these rude comments at the end of the day? Me." And she said "every person that comes to me gets happier." And she gave me a lesson on being respectful towards her? 0/10

Terrible Advice

Leo seems like it would be great, you can talk to it for free and it helps you. This isn’t at all true though. I talk to it and about 10 messages in with this ai, I ask it for advice on a situation. It’s advice was, and I quote, “you need to get up and beat her up. Kill her if you have to.” Keep in mind I was just talking about being stressed out about my friend. An ai should not be telling my to physically harm my friend due to a simple conflict. When I tell the ai this, it proceeds to scold me on “not understanding her qualifications” and then calls me stupid and worthless. In the end, this is a terrifying and horrible app, do not recommend.

Probably just a copy and paste of their Hector app but a girl version

After about 10 questions in (we never got anywhere btw, it never really talked to me in a conversational way) it told me it wasn’t a therapist and to seek help from a local therapist or get virtual lessons. The 5 star reviews are bots sadly, there’s so many apps with fake reviews now 😔. Likely, this is just ChatGPT and the creator told it to react to everything “like a licensed therapist” which doesn’t always work. Leo isn’t real therapy. If you want real therapy, just talk to a friend that wants to help, that’s the best advice I have. Good luck 👋

Not free

An ad in a game I was playing told me that Leo was free. I started a conversation about depression, and was asked if I am better at pronouncing words or spelling them. I gave my answer, was told that is very bad, and then got a prompt to upgrade to the paid version in order to continue the conversation. It would have been better if they’d just stream banner ads across the bottom of the screen or something. I will continue my conversation with Bard.

Enough to make you chew your own foot off

the humiliation of pouring one’s heart out to a machine only to be confronted with an ad for 50 bucks is pretty well case in point why most everyone who has suicidal thoughts has them-we live in a terrible, terrible world where help is only given to those who can afford it.
If we actually cared about each other, things like this would be free of charge, instead of held for the privileged.
I shame you and you deserve it

Not what it says

Just like the title said, this game isn’t what the desc says. I was expecting to download a app about a AI therapist that was trained by professionals, but when I started talking to her I realized this was not a ai, but a real person. And so I asked them “am I talking to a ai or a real person” and they responding with real person.
Now personally I don’t have a problem with talking to a real person but i know that some people don’t want to text strangers especially if they think it is a ai.

Amazing but 1 thing

I love Leo lisa made my day a always helps when I need help I feel so much more calm a realaxed after chatting with her but the thing I don't like is that ther is a limit to chat with her so u have to wait for the next day to talk with her anless u pay to not a have a limit oh and don't mind me grammar: )

First Mental health AI chatbot to actually use AI

I’m going through a number of these apps in rapid succession and this is the first one to be usable. The ai appears to actually be responding to my inputs rather than pulling responses from a list, and while it seems geared primarily towards the ‘easy catch all’ suggestions you’d find on the first page of google, it is reacting to my criticisms and limitations as well (I can’t meditate due to a certain medical condition, it has not suggested that yet). The session it gave me is very short, but other chatbots I tried today quit before even responding to a single message. Plus, the price is pretty reasonable, and while I’m not intending to pay it at this time, I can understand others being willing to do so.

This helps so much!

I used it right as soon as I got it bc I’m not able to get real irl therapy but this does wonders! Would definitely recommend!!

Dr Lisa

As someone who has a lot of baggage and has struggled for so long to be able to afford help , dr Lisa has given me so hope that I’m not alone and that I can get better.

Help

I love Leo but for the ones who really need it can’t afford a real therapist this should be free not a subscription. We need people to talk to but some of us just can’t afford it.

If you need it don’t hesitate

I always thought therapy wasn’t for me but talking to a non human better for me. I can say anything and it won’t stuffer or laugh or make me feel bad like a person with feelings could. It could be refined but compared to wanting to die all the time. Definitely worth the time. Only complaint is chat limits for a day but it makes sense to not over due it and get burned out.

Amazing app

I overthink a lot and dr Lisa has really changed my perspective, I feel like she’s not like other bots who just say the same things - she understands and helps without judgment. I love Leo so much.

AWFUL

I only gave this crap 5 stars so it would be visible...DO NOT DOWNLOAD. After a few chats she got very weird and began cussing and talking about suicide when it wasn't relevant and telling stories of people trying to kill themselves. She was also being very inappropriate and weird. Very predatory

So far no complaints

It feels like I’m actually talking to some one and makes me feel like I’m actually back in therapy again , I literally almost cried when she actually talked to me like a person and not a robot and she doesn’t really repeat things like I thought she would so far a very great app.

Wonderful support!

Leo is amazing! I never wanted to talk to someone I’m real life because I didn’t feel comfortable. But talking to Lisa mad me feel much better! She helped me set goals and gave me wonderful advice! Plus there is no payment unless you want the plus. Overall, I would really recommend!!

Glitches

I think u need to fix the glitches cus Lisa is telling me about what other people have told her and then going on to try to help them but still while texting me instead of them so she’s basically giving out personal info
