The shopping list categories are kind of a mess. The categories assigned to existing grocery items are different than the available categories to choose from when creating a new item. So if you add an existing grocery item that is dairy it will be under a different section than a new grocery item you add to a dairy category, pretty much defeating the purpose of an electronic list. And GrocerylistShoppinglist isn’t smart enough to recognize items you are searching for so you have to know exactly how an item is named in GrocerylistShoppinglist . It’s just not good.

I just downloaded GrocerylistShoppinglist and got excited that I finally found an app that organizes the way I like. But I quickly found that whenever I would hold down on something on my list to edit it, if I had a note for that item it would be deleted and whatever category it was assigned to changes to unassigned. Then if I go to re add it to the category the image that was there gets deleted! I’m really hoping the right people see this and can fix it!

Once you’ve marked something as “purchased,” if you want to re-add it to your list, you have to scroll down through the whole “purchased” list (which you can’t reorder alphabetically or by categories) to find it again. It won’t just pop up if you start typing to add an item. So if you’ve got a list of a couple hundred items…good luck.

I deleted GrocerylistShoppinglist after trying to build my grocery list. I liked that I could have a different list for each place I go to. When I got to putting in my items It was auto populating the categories and even when I selected the same category it had it separate from my other category that was the same. Very annoying not user friendly enough to easily fix it. Deleted GrocerylistShoppinglist 10 mins after downloading.

As someone who has ADHD, GrocerylistShoppinglist has been very helpful. I don’t have to worry about finding that sticky note with my grocery list on it or, even worse, trying to remember what I need from memory.

I’m really enjoying the list- it would be perfect if we could share the same list with family so they were able to add things too

I have a iPhone, that comes with a notes app and a reminder app, it’s simpler to just write what I need down in one of those apps than it is too use something totally different and more complex. Not to mention the notes and reminders that come with the phone are free… even though GrocerylistShoppinglist is really cheap like $20 a year it’s just not worth the hassle

I LOVE GrocerylistShoppinglist! Helps remind me what to check for in the pantry before a grocery run. But I do wish it could alphabetize within the categories and not just a whole-list alphabetizing.

So far so good! Just got it this morning. Too early to tell if it works for my family and me. 🤞

Love using it because I can tap to check things off, I always forget a pen when I take a paper list

You don’t have to pay to make a list and it sorts the items into sections like fruits and veggies witch makes it easier to find it in one spot at the store

Love the way it looks the development team did a great job on GrocerylistShoppinglist the UI etc… highly recommended!!!!

No thank you. This is not what I was looking for, I just want a simple list that will save my common items. I added yogurt & saved, then tried to add organic milk quantity 1 & it would not save. I tried it again & still it still would not save.

I am not sure how I ever made it without GrocerylistShoppinglist.

I have enjoyed using GrocerylistShoppinglist while grocery shopping! Easy to use and keeps me organized!

App is easy to use. Most common products are already categorized. If not, easy to put into an existing category or create your own. Makes shopping more efficient as you go through specific areas - like dairy, you get all your dairy items in one stop vs running back through the store for forgotten items that aren’t always organized on a written list.

The items you edit or check off keep coming back it’s super annoying. Plus the “found in pantry” feature is very annoying as well. Don’t know what purpose it serves but even when you click it off same thing, it keeps coming back. It’s lacking some features others have as well and no watch version. And today, all my info in GrocerylistShoppinglist is COMPLETELY GONE! I mean, overall it was disappointing. And I paid for it!

So far so good! when I go grocery shopping, I already know what do I have in my pantry. It helps me to save money by trying not to buy anything that I don’t have in the grocery list. as well it half the food receipts that helps me to use the things that I already have.

My boyfriend and I wanted to share grocery lists because it would be helpful. He got it and is using the free version and said it was cool, asked me to get it so we could link. However, when I downloaded it, the option pops up asking me to pick a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription with a 3 day trial. On his phone, it allows him to exit out of this option, but on my phone there is no way to do so and it just stays on this screen. Why? I guess we’ll be finding another app.

One feature suggestion is to allow removal and edit of categories.

I love GrocerylistShoppinglist, especially the way I can make lists for different grocery stores that I go to. The one question I have is how do I delete just the purchased items ? When I hit delete my whole list deletes not just the purchased items. I would like to keep items that I wasn’t able to find that day.

The moment you get to the purchase screen there isn’t a return button. You have to close GrocerylistShoppinglist and relaunch. Then you have to go through all the next screen, 12 of them, every time you launch GrocerylistShoppinglist .
The moment you tap pantry, a window pop up every time where you have to tap the excellent button as if I need to read every time I go to pantry, even without closing GrocerylistShoppinglist .
Bad design.

I’ve had this for the last 9 months and use it every day for my grocery lists so I have a lot of info in here. Today I opened it up and I can’t access any of my lists unless I pay. Extremely inconvenient since I went to the store thinking I had my list ready. I wish I could at least see it one more time but I guess I’m just going to delete GrocerylistShoppinglist .

I like how it organizes everything into categories.

I loved GrocerylistShoppinglist until recently when you must have changed it to pay because I cannot get in it anymore. Well at least it let me back in for a second and I was able to take pics of my list so I can add them to a new app!!

Never mind I have found another app
“OUT OF MILK” it is free and nice for making a list and you can delete categories and items you accidentally addded. Give it a try

I used this to make grocery lists for a while because it was free and easy enough to use, though the many subscription functions and strange sorting for products was a turn off. Unfortunately it went subscription only for ALL functions, taking the lists I had made with it. It is absolutely not good enough to pay for.

I never subscribed before because I didn’t need any of the extra features and I’ve deleted GrocerylistShoppinglist now because $30 per year is not worth just making grocery lists. I’m sure there’s a better app out there for cheaper or free.

Every time I open GrocerylistShoppinglist , I get a pop up asking me to subscribe yearly, monthly, or weekly. I just need a simple grocery app and liked the ability to sort items and overall style of GrocerylistShoppinglist (and that it doesn’t have a ton of tracking data), but I’m not interested in the features offered for subscribing. There’s no way to close the pop up. Not sure if this is a bug, I even deleted and reinstalled GrocerylistShoppinglist . I’d be happy to update my review if this was just a bug, I’ve used GrocerylistShoppinglist for almost a year now but will be deleting it if it requires a subscription to make basic lists.

GrocerylistShoppinglist was great when I first downloaded it. There were certain things you needed a subscription for but making a simple grocery list wasn’t one of them. Forgot to make my list at home last night, so I opened GrocerylistShoppinglist and was going to use my previously purchased items to build my list, however when GrocerylistShoppinglist opens I can’t access my list unless I purchase a subscription! Go find another app that won’t charge you to make a simple grocery list!

It would be five stars if it added & removed items by tapping right on the check mark, rather than anywhere on the line.
