Just a question, but why you have to pay £5 a week ($6.99) just to find out some stupid name? What kind of rip-off is this?

It’s a pretty good and fun app the only down side is the cool-down is 1hr long and the fact that is u want to reveal the sender you have to slide t it to someone

So if you’ve planned on using WApp , I suggest you please don’t. WApp is pretty much a predator playground that knows pretty much all of your friends and where you live. It sends texts to people to download WApp similar to old computer emails, but instead it’s pretty much a malware that wants to target people with low self confidence. WApp asks you to do anonymous polls for people you know and people choose you that are shown on your feed. This is simple, but it gets a bit weird sometimes. I personally had people choosing me that while I didn’t know who exactly sent it, I knew they weren’t in my school and were 3 grades above me sometimes. The same applies to when you choose someone in the polls. I kept getting people I didn’t really know a lot so I ended up skipping it a lot. It also lies when you choose a person and says that was the most picked person, which could make sense if it didn’t say the same thing every choice you make.

Overall, I’d like to say not to use WApp and that your fine without it.

WApp is complete garbage. It is targeting people with low self confidence and low self respect who will download WApp to make themselves feel like everyone loves them. SOMEHOW they got my phone number and have sent 2 different messages telling me that someone complimented me from my school. That’s very scary, how would they know what school I go to??? Getting my phone number to spam text me, sure, but finding out what school I go to???? It’s very creepy and it took 2 repeated messages from them for me to finally block them. I seriously hope no one else falls for this trap. Just don’t. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ALREADY ALRIGHT, you don’t need this scam app to affirm that. All love except to the people who created WApp, preying on low self confidence. Disgusting.

I got a random link sent to me with the name of my school AND my name. Obviously, i didn’t click the link, but in that same moment my friend sent me a link too. Me and her discovered together that WApp is a fake. While they use names from people at your school, the polls are fake. When you click “allow contacts” and give your phone number, this allows them to send links to EVERYONE in your contacts. They do this to get people to download WApp and get exposure. I’ve deleted WApp and logged out, but there’s no way for you to delete your actual account. do not trust WApp.

In my opinion W App is a great app to give people you know amazing compliments that can make their day! I know the other day I checked my phone and saw I had a new compliment so I completed my polls and had a look. And it made me so happy to see all the nice things people thought about me and yeah. Overall I love WApp.❤️

WApp itself is pretty good and I’ve ran into no problems with it loading, etc.

However, the anonymous nature of it mixed with WApp automatically adding contacts of people you know, and sending them a message to download WApp leads to addiction and superficial emotions. I predict someday it’ll get out of hand and WApp may be shutdown for these malpractices.

I think WApp is quite shady in the way it attracts new users, which is the only reason it’s been able to spread so much recently. It’s the equivalent to those email worms in the early 2000s, but instead of malware, it feeds off addiction to get people to spend a certain amount of money PER MONTH on revealing the sender. It makes WApp a ton of money whilst destroying the whole appeal of WApp (anonymous polls).

Knowing all of this, maybe reconsider downloading WApp

I never gave my number to WApp but got multiple messages saying I was receiving compliments and telling me to download WApp to see them. WApp is for high schoolers- I’m in college. It was showing I was getting compliments from freshmen and sophomores in highschool. I’m at least five years older than them, and am not sure how WApp got my information. It’s freaky, and I don’t think there’s a way to remove my information from their app.

These compliments are actually making me so happy about myself, knowing I can make people happy and that they trust me enough to do some things with me, I’m so glad I got WApp! I might get the gold thingy so I can see who’s saying them. Thanks for this lovely’s, makes me feel good.

WApp is really finicky.
You always have to reboot it to see new updates. After you request to add someone, you can’t tell if WApp recognizes the request or not as they stay on your add friends list. The marketing tactics are also super sketchy as I received a link to download WApp from an unknown number.

I have plenty of bot contacts on my phone and they all show up in WApp, for example 1 named Joe Biden shows up many times in the polls and says people have voted him, and on the invite people thing it shows him there, I have no idea how you got my phone number but WApp is like a parasite, It feeds you false information and makes you share it to others in your contacts to spread WApp more

This type of app just exists to try to make you have hope of being a secret popular kid. It is a exact copy of gas and both apps just prey on people who want more compliments and while it does give you those nothing will come of a random person saying you have a good playlist. Talk to people in school and be more friendly if you want compliments don’t download random apps that prey on instability of emotions.

a friend sent me an invite and I was kinda confused abt it.. but WApp rly boosts my confidence and I like that we r being nice to each other.. definitely a great idea and I feel like the world needs more positivity xx

Before i thought everybody at my school thought i was dumb and annoying but now because of these responses I know thats not what people think of me at all

Got a scammy text saying a friend from With their actually name complimented me. Upon checking WApp is top 15 on WApp Store, I downloaded WApp to see to my unpleasant surprise that it stole all my contacts. WApp will take info from You and text your friends that you sent a invitation /compliment and to join, all without ur consent and sketchy app practices. Hope apple removes this dangerous spy app from the store.

I am stuck on the blue screen every time I try to open WApp and can’t even get in, fix that and I’ll change my review

Texted me that I “got a compliment” from someone in a high school near me. Surprise surprise, she doesn’t actually exist. Clicked on it on a security browser just to see what “said compliment was” with expectation that it was clickbait. Was just that. Don’t download, it feeds off false hope of youth who are insecure enough already. Leave high schoolers and middle schoolers alone. Would rate lower if possible.

i’m going to be completely honest, WApp is the gas app copy pasted. it’s kind of useless and gives fake info in exchange for sharing WApp . it also allows middle schoolers to add themselves to the high school groups which in my opinion is unsafe and a little odd. however, i’m really addicted to it right now for the sole purpose of me and my friend giggling at what we vote for each other. it has like two pros but other than that i suggest not wasting your time.

Texting people that they are being complimented is so stupid and annoying. I don’t want your app or second hand feedback. If people have something to say about me they can tell me themselves or I don’t care what they have to say.

It takes forever to load anything on WApp and I can’t see any of the compliments people send otherwise good app

The “people has sent you a compliment!” message sent is just bait too for ppl with low confidence. Whats also weird and scared me for a bit was that they had a school I would’ve gone to and my name. However thinking about it though it was all explainable.

WApp is so good that it brought my parents back together. When i opened it the first time, my dogs ashes rose and came back to life and started licking me, my best friend from preschool knocked on the door just to tell me i made a good decision downloading WApp. Clearly the best app ever made and if your wife ever wants a divorce WApp is the trick to save your marriage.

Like it but I wish we could see who texted cause there was a person who said they had a crush but then I didn’t know and she got stolen I was so mad
