I signed up for this without reading the reviews. Big mistake! First I started getting emails that should’ve been in the junk mail. From there I was getting an extra ordinary amount of junk text. Now I’m getting all kinds of calls and block them but there’s 1 million numbers.. the only thing different was I signed up for Guardio the this app!! I would advise no one to even try the free ? I’m over 7 days out an the number of emails, texts and telephone calls I’m getting has increased dramatically! I’ve never got junk text before in this number! The same for the emails hitting my email account. I must take the time to send them to my junk account and block them!! The last thing is the spam on my cell phone. I’ve never got spam calls because I signed up for the protection from the government. Now after this company it’s covering all my devices. Makes me wonder if they Sold my Information??!!!!!!!

Even if u sign up for a free trial, the immediately charge you the full price. Right after I signed up I had 50 dollars taken from my checking and another 75 from my savings from them.

I was in the middle of signing up for Guardio when I got and itch to check it’s reviews a little more. I’m so glad I did. I’m horrified by what I’ve read and I’m shocked Apple continues to allow such a shady and questionable app on their App Store. These kinds of apps and their developers make me nauseous. Get a real job with a real app and actually help people rather than scamming them with the exact thing your app claims to “protect” against. I’ve seen these scams more and more on here and it’s just ridiculous. I’d recommend just hiring an accredited person to work with you rather than giving these guys your info. There are many services you can hire that do this sort of thing that are legit. Just do your research. A genuine service wouldn’t have this many bad reviews.

It says unfortunately you can’t start your trail in Guardio and is stuck on that page and won’t let me do anything I’ll go out of it completely and try again says the same message is their something that customer service can help me fix this problem?

Today on Tuesday July 16th 11:05 I started a free trial and ended on Tuesday July 16th 11:30 but a couple minutes later I got charged even tho I ended the free trial on the same day and now I’m mad because I just got charged for 15 dollars that I wasn’t supposed to be charged for I want my money back before July 30th or else…

Do not get Guardio, they will charge you $15 even though they give you a “free trail”. After they charge you $15 Guardio makes it impossible to cancel the subscription. So now you’re stuck forever paying $15!!! I’ve seen people try and cancel the subscription and instead of charging them for a monthly $15 it was somehow switched the yearly $120. Guardio is VERY VERY shady I recommend you NEVER get Guardio as it is only good for stealing your hardworking money.

Don’t do it they say free trial and they still charging your card when I tried to canceling my subscription not option for it plus they don’t have an actual customer support number so you can call just email STAY AWAY!!

They keep changing my card even after I canceled my subscription and when I call the number that appears on my statement, they pick up from a private home and don’t talk to you, very suspicious. Stay away

U get better features if u pay but I don’t want to pay, after I uninstalled Guardio I got so many scam messages from scam phone numbers mentioning this app as well as a phishing link. I am getting more of these messages and I shouldn’t have downloaded this because this is just annoying now

I signed up for the “FREE” 7 day trial within 20 mins of reading the reviews I realized it was a scam. I immediately canceled and cancelled Guardio . HOWEVER just as everyone had warned I continued to get charged!! TODAY IS MY 3rd TIME CANCELLING! I continue to get charged. Today I found yet another place it says I can cancel and have went through all of those freaking hoops now I wait again until next month to see if i get charged they apparently don’t refund you for the months of services they charge you for without you ever having Guardio even though you cancel the free trial day of so BEWARE!!! I am out 30 bucks so far !!

I wish I had read the reviews first.

I was only getting maybe one or two spam texts a month, same with calls… but immediately after downloading Guardio, I’ve been getting nonstop spam phone calls, texts and emails DAILY. It’s never ending. It doesn’t stop.

I was suspicious of why this might suddenly be happening at such a rate, decided to read some reviews and do some Googling, and my suspicions are confirmed, I’m not the only person this has happened to. Guardio is clearly selling your data. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I never even started the free trial, just gave them my information in order to see how bad off I was with data leaks. After getting my results, I decided not to sign up and figured that was that… but the day after I had submitted my actual email and phone number to them, the calls, texts and emails ramped up to maddening levels.

If someone from Apple actually reads this, please take Guardio off your App Store!

I applied for a free subscription for a week and made sure to cancel it right after because you get to keep the subscription until it ends. Apparently when I made my account, it made TWO different accounts under the same email. I was charged for 4 months after the subscription expired on Christmas Day of 2023. Looking in the subscription list in settings on my phone, going to their website, and going through Guardio it said that the subscription was canceled and I had to renew it and sent screenshots to these “people” who overall felt like I was talking to an AI generated response every time and asking to “rate my experience” with a happy face, or a frowny face.
And monthly renewals like the premium subscription are not eligible for a refund so I lost $60 because of this ghost account. 👎

I did a free trial for seven days with Guardio. And canceled within 24 hours of having it and for days later got charged for a yearly subscription. Found their website and found that my subscription was still intact even though I had canceled on my phone app for the purchase. Now I am fighting with them to have my refund of $119. Not very happy that they have a sneaky way of you needing to go through hoops to cancel your subscription before you get charged.

When you do a trial you should not have a pending debit let’s say
It’s $119 after trial ends they remove that money day 1 of free trial your bank will tell you funds are not there and not available and pending as a debit, second there’s no valid number to call, they make it very difficult to navigate on their app and website if you choose to cancel account the directions they give you do not coincide with the steps you truly need to take to remove and cancel account and not a few THEY HAVE SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ON BBB BC PEOPLE HAD TO CANCEL THEIR DEBIT AND CREDIT CARDS BC THEY JUST KEEP TAKING THE MONEY.

I was excited to get this program for the safety of my new iPhone, but unfortunately, my delight is meant to last. I have been working on correcting emails that seems sinister. Well working on securing my email passwords I left this app and when I came back to it, it was a white screen nothing no refreshing the page nothing so now I’m really disappointed because I have that work I put into it is gone and I have no program so I’m going to go check out LifeLock

I have had this app for a few months now and I’m paying for it. They don’t do anything tbh.

They tell me my information has been leaked at least 2-5 times a week. They show you where the info was leaked from but that’s it! They don’t tell you what to do and they don’t protect you from it happening again.

I still get scam texts/emails/calls and they’re happening more frequently.

The last time I got a scam call, I straight up asked them where they got my information from (wondering if I signed up for it or something) and they said they received my personal information FROM this app!!!!

DO NOT USE IT!!!

I think Guardio is a scam to get our info these are all fake reviews. When I tried linking things it took my password and then said can’t connect. But before it says it can’t connect you need to agree to give access to all personal information just to say can’t connect? Sounds to me like they are acquiring our data not filtering it SCAM do not use!!

Just saw your "Ad" and reviewed your app on IG; so of course I downloaded it. However, I noticed for each email address I have added, I get a duplicate email for verification. Seems a bit scammy. Users should not get duplicate emails.!! 😳will delete this "money grabbing" app immediately if no response or reason to the "messy" quality. How often are there updates within Guardio to keep reviewing dark web data leaks?

It found 1 data leak on a website that i’ve never been on, then it never gave me good instructions on what to do

“Call your phone company” they told me that a data leak on iphone is not possible, but according to Guardio it very much is…so is my address being sold on the dark web or not?

I wish I would have read the reviews. I downloaded this app thinking it would be great to get alerts about my stuff on the darkweb so I tried the free trail. It worked great found things my normal identity software had not found. When my free trial was up, I did not renew, cause I wanted to think about it. I had no issues stopping the subscription. BUT the amount of spamming that came after was epic. Texts, phones calls. I had to go to my phone provider and they notified me someone put my number into a malicious robocaller. I had to contact the police department to make a report and they recommended contacting the FCC. Years with no problems until after trying this app, and now the spamming has not stopped. This needs to be investigated to make sure there is nothing nefarious going on. Or maybe the developers are innocent and maybe how they gather their info is flawed and has vulnerabilities. Either way I would stick with a different identity monitor.

If your looking for a FREE mobile device anti virus thingy this is not it i thought this was free because someone told me it was but it says “only paid users can use Guardio” it does work but why not just make Guardio cost the amount you want us to pay.

So I got Guardio because I’ve been getting new messages from random numbers and when I downloaded it, I set up leaked information and I don’t think this is really true because I haven’t had my film for four years and it said four years ago that my information had been leakedso I kind of confused

I’ve started trying out this app because ThioJoe would advertise it on his channel from time to time. It offers a bunch of services, like identity protection, dark web monitoring, email protection, text messaging protection, etc. However, I noticed that it only provides email protection for Gmail accounts. The only thing that makes me give this app 5 stars is if it expanded the email protection to include all email accounts. If this can be implemented in the next update, that would make this app not only more versatile, but more customer friendly.

Every day I receive a notification advising that some group is trying to steal my personal information. I feel better knowing that I am safe because I have your help to catch these spammers.

On top of every possible breach immediately. I hope this will continue and this just doesn’t be good for the first few weeks and then turn to a paid subscription that doesn’t work out.

I saw the ads and decided to give it a try. Today got a call at work regarding a video posted by one of the gurus that I follow. Caller said I must watch by midnight, and sent a link. I later clicked on the link since it came from a known source (I thought). this app picked up the malicious link and blocked it, for which I am grateful!

I’ve only used Guardio for about a month now, but I’m very pleased with it and it has a lot of information. I’m kinda glad that this position I took here at this job has given me the chance to use you guys continue good service and maybe I’ll do more with you in time.

Seems to work well. Keeps lots of questionable sites away.

How can I get this on my two tablets also?

I have been using this app for a number of years and always warn me if I go to web sites that I should not go and email that can be harmful. I trust this app to watch out for me.

Well, I can honestly say I’ve tried 15 or 16 antivirus safety web browsing products just the name a few I’ve tried Norton 360 antivirus, Total AV pro antivirus, surfshark antivirus … now I’m not gonna knock them down completely but what I personally am looking for is A product that I know keeps me safe completely. Every time I get on the computer. A product that doesn’t hound me to get more “updates” or “upgrades” every month! A product that’s not gonna clean my wallet out just to feel safe browsing , I like this app because they offer a very good price and go above and beyond what all the other guys offer.

Just want to offer an A++++ review. It was like a matter of moments that I was receiving an answer to my concerns . They are prompt, courteous, and professional. I don’t always understand techno lingo but they made it understandable. There are a lot of companies a person can choose from for data protection. To anyone looking —look no further than this app. Keep up the great work this app for keeping us safe.

I was sceptical at first, but after just a week I am very pleased with the service. Alerts me to questionable phone calls and shopping sites. Well worth the price for my piece of mind. Try the no cost few days before purchasing. I believe you too will see the quick response to the attempts of scammers. Great Co to phone and ask questions. Helpful staff and super company.

I have been very impressed with the way this app is watching out for me. I received notices as soon as anything suspicious comes up. Certainly gives me peace of mind, knowing I don’t have to worry about unnecessary hackers. I would recommend this app to everyone of my friends and family to subscribe to Guardio. I don’t make a move without this app. They immediately warn me if a site is unsafe, and no matter how pretty that sweater is, I’m out of there. I used to get a ton of spam every day. Now I only get two or three a day; and some days I get none! I feel safe with this app. You will too.

Instead of just notifying me of a problem, you are actually doing something proactive to fix the problem, unlike most of your competition, that just advises me on what to do!!!

Alerts me of potential issues that could cause problems and identifies the email with opening it. 100% recommend this app.

Guardio blocks things that could contain malaware, it works perfectly

Guardio is a good app I have not had a problem with it. And the best sercurity app I have ever had. They don’t let you open mail that has malware in it and don’t let me go on fake sights I’ve had them all and this is the best one in my experience. I will recommend it to any one.

I had a virus that wouldn’t let me restart my computer and with this app I was able to fix the issue….truly a lifesaver.

I’ve been dealing with scammers often.I started answering in Japanese, that was funny. Recently I was exposed to romance scammers. It is crazy how they can lure in victims I might be a widow and live alone but I’m not a fool or desperate.
Purchasing and installing this app was the best choice for me.
Funny story Once I received a call and obviously it wasn’t in a calling center because you could hear roosters in the background. LOL

I feel like this app catches things better then the one I had before. Definitely worth the money.

I love the protection this app gives, but it seems like many things are blocked unnecessarily. For instance, I requested quotes on car insurance. When I began getting texts from insurance companies almost every one of them were blocked. It would be great to get more information about why something was blocked.

I am trying to install this app to my iPhone but when it camdd we to entering my card expiration date, the bank issued it to expire in 2028 & your system won’t take it. Please advise what I need to do to finish setup.

Keeps in check on my online habits. I am glad I chose Guardio by Facebook. It will keep me in control on which site would hack me and warn me if I go somewhere shady. Would recommended to anyone.

First of this app is a great app where it detects malware. And it checks data leaks/breachs. So I had a bad problem with scam emails and spam messages. Guardio literally checked what was going on and after that I got no spam texts and emails. Honestly this is better than AVG and LifeLock. Great work on whoever did this. Also one more thing when you pay a little money for like each week or month. this app gives you a 1 Million dollar insurance on Identity Theft. (A.K.A I.T) if there was 6 stars I would rate it 6/6

I’m not that computer savvy so high tech words go over my head. I noticed I was getting blocked website messages from Guardio. I kept thinking I was not on the internet 2 minutes ago, how is it I’m getting these notices. So, I sent them an email asking what was happening. Jerónimo explained why I get these messages in a way that I was totally able to understand. Great customer service!!! I feel protected with Guardio!

I love the fact that you are keeping track when I’m not

I like, no I love Guardio because I have no problems accidentally touching my phone screen on popup ads or websites. It tells me which ones to block if I don’t trust them or have never heard of them before. No troubles anymore once I purchased the this app App.

The first product of this kind to actually work. I have been in the IT industry for over 50 years and have used all the various products off the shelf, and none of them were effective 100%. Mark me as a happy camper 👍
