I am very disappointed that the developers decided to take the chibi route instead of the intended 3D animation for this game. Even more so that the game doesnt feel as engaging as it should, considering that the anime had left an impact for this game to be better than it is. The gameplay itself is ok, nothing new or fancy and the story feels like another rendition of itself from the anime. The characters are awesome! Literally the only problem is the gameplay and the chibi aspects within that gameplay. Everything else is fine. Far from a superb game.

If I were rating this game on character design and art direction alone, I might give it 5 stars. Tragically, there are so many little mechanical flaws that distract from Takt Op Symphony’s initial beauty. Every action in this game takes about twice as long as it should to perform. Did you want to auto through combat? Well, you can— but you have to manually walk to each encounter, each with its own loading screen, and each requiring you to “Start” the combat with a button press. Why? It just feels so needlessly tedious. If the devs can iron out some of these little wrinkles, this game could be incredible.

I was so excited when I saw this game was finally getting released. I even pre installed it. Takt op is one of my all time fav anime. The graphics are amazing and the game flow has a nice story line so far. But I’m not sure if it’s my phone or a setting but I have only played it a handful of times as it take forever to load all resources that I loose interest before it load it takes so long. Or I have some time to spare on a break a work or some place, but by the time it loads I don’t have time to play! If you have hours to spend on the loading screens playing than it is a great game. But unfortunately I normally don’t have that much time to spend on a mobile game.

its good, visuals and soundtracks are good and characters look great. Story is pretty good too. Although i get bored of the gameplay. Its just not enough for me to get hooked in. It feels kinda slow for me, and thats coming from someone who plays turn based games on the daily. Tired of already doing Story quest, then Battle Sims to do even more Story Quest. Overall 3.8/5. Gameplays not for me, i got bored of it quick. Feels really bland to me, and a little confusing. (maybe ill get used to it eventually) Gacha system is fair enough, 2% rate with 75 pity guarantee is fine. First 20 pull guaranteed 3* banner is also really good. Not really a fan of 50/50 mechanic though. One thing I hate is that getting dupes is pretty unrewarding since youll need 9-10 copies of a character just for a couple of stat increases. (only applies to 1-2*) Not sure about 3* (hopefully youll need only 1 but it looks like you might need 3 copies 😬). I like that the gameplay is unique from most however. Overall its pretty okay. Gameplay is a little bland to me though. Maybe not for you.

You’ll need a severe amount of duplicates to rank up your 3-stars, with 3 dupes of a 3-star just to get to star rank 4 out of 5 stars total for a unit. Stamina is an even more pressing issue in this game since there are many subcategories to all resources and there are just so many upgrade systems that all need farming, from the scale system to money for upgrades to harmony devices and the resources to level those devices and then the raw levels of the units themselves, then to the resources for farming memories and leveling/star enhancing those memories as well.
We’re not even going to hash out the weekly expeditions that require you to burn precious resources on non-main team members just because expeditions don’t allow you the full choice of units, nor is it worth more than one line to tell you that you don;t have enough daily stamina to even clear out all the daily resource stage bonuses in one sitting.
If this already sounds overwhelming and you think it’s like a bad case of overly layered systems just for the sake of extra systems, you would be right. In the end, Arknights is still the superior gacha.

I’ve only recently started playing. I haven’t watched the anime yet so idk if that would make me enjoy it more or less. Anyways. The art is lovely. The character designs themselves aren’t all my cup of tea but that’s just personal preference I’m aware (I do like a few designs though!). And of course the music is beautiful. I’d say the music alone makes the game worth it. It definitely would if it didn’t keep crashing. The game crashes so much when I play. I can’t even get through the gacha animation thing while pulling.

Overall, I really enjoy this game, especially as someone who watched the anime for takt op. Destiny. The story is actually great and the characters are all amazing and inspired. The gameplay is fun, though I do feel like there’s not a lot of reason to try unique team builds, at least for now. Some of the commission battles do have conditions supporting varying types of Musicarts though.
Aside from very occasional freezing/crashes, the only major issue I have with the game is the translation. There are very frequent grammar mistakes, though it almost always at least conveys the message properly. Where it’s most harmful however I’d say is in the tutorials. Some of the later tutorials are very difficult to follow with the translation mistakes, especially when different words are used for the same things in varying translations, making it difficult to follow what is what. I cannot be certain that the tutorials are clear in the original though, since at the very least the Harmony tutorial didn’t really convey much even putting aside the translation issues.
I’m really enjoying the game, but unless the grammar problems were resolved I can’t say this release is a 5-star game. It is really fun though and I’m looking forward to future content.

Disregard the review I wrote here earlier. I thought it was crashing after I updated it, but apparently that was just because of the maintenance they were doing server side. (IMO they could have made the message saying that it was under maintenance to make the sudden closing of taktopSymphony not seem like it was crashing, but that’s a minor nitpick.)
I’d like to entirely retract my review because I don’t think I’m exactly in the target audience, so I don’t think my evaluation should be included in the average review score, but I don’t see an option to do that.

Hey! This game is great. The gacha system is forgiving, the turned based combat has some thought behind it, and character sprites are very well designed! My only complaint are the load times in between menus. While it’s not much, it can get annoying when I’m trying to level up my musicarts or trying to open other menus. I’m sure this will be fixed, and, as far as I can see, this game has a great future ahead of it!

I am in love with this game so far but I can’t play anymore due to being soft-locked during the memory section of the tutorial when I put a memory on a different character before the tutorial started and then tutorial wanted me to put the memory on a different character but it won’t let me switch it making the game unplayable for me and I don’t want to start over because I waited and pre-registered for the game so please help me fix this

Units out here hurting themselves to deal damage, healers getting rid of that damage and not using shields, and the “assassin” based class unable to use skills on bosses if they’re backline because they can only skill on frontline. Get rid of slot based skills and the combat would be better for sure. Other than that music, art style, the maps and characters running are all cute and enjoyable.

Hope you guys can make an energy saver option for the game. Would also prefer if the buttons and UI was a little bit bigger because it’s hard to tap on my phone due to the tap hitbox being small and hard to see what is going on.
The only reason why i can’t give it full stars 😔

An absolutely astonishing game. This game combines both anime aesthetic and classical music together which I didn’t think was possible yet they put in effort and show their love for this game. These creators truly are amazing and so are the visuals, every girl is different and unique in their own way even their appearance matches their personality. They even got me writing my heart out on a review.

The Presentation of this game, in terms of art, music, and characters is immaculate. Every aspect of this game oozes charm. I have been having an exceptional time so far and will hopefully continue to do so. The Dev team has been actively working with and listening to the community as well!

Turned based game with very amazing graphics. i've never watched the anime until i got further into the story. i usually skipped the story until the second encounter in chapter 1 when meeting the musicarts. but i was watching the anime until 3:00 AM and episode 11 had me crying so hard (i'm male) like never cried that hard before (i'm 20). but i just wish i could read, or learn more about the game or anime. even though there isn't no manga since it's just a typically a game.

The game is really cool and I enjoy it very much, but I am having some trouble when playing. Sometimes the game freezes and I am unable to do anything. This happened a couple times before and whenever it does I just close taktopSymphony and boot it up again. I don’t know if it is a problem on my part, but I just wanted to inform you guys of it.

I Like JRPGS i like classical music, this seemed like a nice waste of time. It quickly became a HUGE waste of time. I would sit and listen to the background music for 5-10 minutes. Like not combat or important music but filler music. Specifically an improv on Beethoven for the piano that I was completely starstruck by. Only then did I realize that there is no time being wasted unless you’re talking about time that you spend considering whether or not to download this game or not. It is splendid.

This is a sequel of the anime, try to play it if you are interested in story and interaction with different musicarts. The gameplay is alright but story definitely carries it, also everything is voiced. Don’t worry about spending, it’s definitely f2p friendly. Just come and enjoy the story.

I’m a really big fan of the anime and lemme just say the game is beautifully amazing! I know it’s on early version but I can wait how future turns for this game.
I originally got interest because the game reminded me of Persona Q in some mechanics. I hope y’all keep giving us fun puzzles to unlock!!!

Starting off the game is pretty good the characters are so cute and the intricate mini games are good for killing time. The story is captivating and entertaining easily able to immerse you into the game. And don’t even get me started on the breathtaking visuals paired with amazing voice acting and soundtracks.

I’ve only gotten around 2-3 hours into the game, but the more I’ve played, the more I see with what Takt: Op has to offer. The gorgeous visuals and variations of classical, famous music pieces are what stand out most for me. The story and characters really help contribute to the interesting lore of the Takt: Op as well. Would highly recommend this title, especially to JRPG gaming fans in general!

This game wasn’t what I thought it’d be. It’s way better. I pre-ordered this four weeks ago and I’m surprised how I was instantly enamored with the story. I especially love how It’s more about building relationships with the Musicarts than just one battle after another like most games. I just can’t wait to see what more this have to offer.

Very good game it could use some optimization and transition between menus also improvement on resolution since it looks but low even at high settings, other than that game looks promising and i really like the classical piano ost bound to each character

I can tell by the design that you guys have put a lot of effort into making a game for everyone to enjoy and I hope that it becomes a big hit in the future. I'm also not sure how many people have downloaded this game yet but I think I might be the first one to download it.
