I couldn't even sign up without certificate problems. What good is an app that you cannot safely signup for? Tempted to return product since without app access, I cannot change cleaning modes.

Useless app

WYBOT for the this app S2 Solar is a complete mess. The remote control barely works—it constantly disconnects, lags, and glitches out. Half the time it won’t even recognize the device, and when it does, the controls are so unresponsive they’re basically useless.

Tried using the “Recalibrate” button multiple times—it just spins endlessly and never does anything. Same with scheduled cleaning. WYBOT looks like it was rushed out without proper testing.

Exactly what the title says. App deleted my robot from WYBOT and good luck getting it back on. Then I logged out and now it doesn’t let me log in. Garbage app.

Seriously, my pool guy who I’ve had for 18 years recommended I get one of these. I’ve had a creepy Crawley hooked up to a full hose to my skimmer that went through the filter. It went bad. He suggested I get this unit. I’ve had it probably six months and right now it won’t turn on. It only works for a short period of time and I’ve got to take it out of the pool hose it off charge it again. There’s no value in this machine whatsoever.
The only way I’d be happy with this product if they give me a full refund on it!!
Save yourself the aggravation unless you live in a very dirty environment and you need a heavier duty unit to pick up leaves and you don’t mind cleaning it frequently

The M1 solar robot is ok, but without WYBOT it lacks functionality and is hampered from being a great pool cleaner. WYBOT makes selecting options difficult with confusing screens, this is compounded by a lack of clarity in knowing when an option has been selected or confirmed. For instance you can get to the pool shape selection screen, but tapping on an option produces no feedback to know if you have made the selection. The is all the more frustrating because some screens have a save option while others do not, so it is difficult to know what options you have selected and if they are saved. Currently experiencing a couple of issues with both WYBOT and robot and have received no response from this app, so buyer beware that you might get no customer service help if you have robot or app issues. It’s been about two weeks of no response, I tried to in app feature as well as the website. I would also note that they hide reviews on their website. It says “be the first to review” so I put a review in that said much of what is above and it has yet to post, I verified the purchase on their review verification site judge me and nothing. So they are likely aware of all the issues but trying to hide them to boost sales for now.

Update: about 4 months in the charger is inoperable and solar charging doesn’t work. Bot worthless now and app still too glitchy and won’t connect. Should be 0 stars. Avoid the company, WYBOT , and their bots, customer service stopped responding so had to try going through credit card company.

I knew I should’ve stuck to a pool vacuum that you had to plug-in at this point. I feel like it’s a waste of my money because you can’t get anybody on the phone nobody can fix it you can’t use your pool vacuum if you can’t login you can’t sign in. You can’t reset the password you can’t do anything and with summer upon us everybody wants to clean their pool, fix it!!!! and you can’t even submit a review because it makes you pick a nickname and all the nicknames are taken her you kidding me

App is telling me I have invalid certificates. I can’t do anything. Total garbage.

Countless times deleting and re-uploading. Now server certificate is invalid again. Avoid at all costs

If WYBOT worked as advertised it would be great. Lots of features, lets you see the status of both your unit and the dock…it looks great. And then you realize that well over half the time it doesn’t work. Currently my unit is sitting on the dock, but WYBOT shows it as “cleaning in progress.” It frequently gives me the option “back to charge” when it’s already on the dock receiving a charge. Often, the unit will sit on the dock for days on end, in full sun, and receive no charge at all. Frustrating. If it worked how it is supposed to it’s great. As it currently operates? I don’t think it’s worth the trouble.

Robot cleans well but WYBOT is very poor. Robot shuts down after cleaning and is almost always off-line. battery and temperature indicators are inaccurate. Cannot view current schedule in app, when you click schedule, it changes all times to the current time instead of displaying the schedule as currently programmed. Cleaner is not very useful as I have to manually start it each day to ensure it runs and can not monitor battery level.

I’ve had the this app for little over a month now.
Worked fine and still does. Unfortunately, WYBOT stopped working and it looks like the company creates a new app every once in a while with the same engine and new name.
Im going to try their latest app and see if it works for my robot. I believe its called Hybot or something.
As far as I know, i’ll just keep putting the robot in the water and hope it does its default mechanisms.

The M1 Ultra I have is a fantastic little robot. However, WYBOT is severely lacking functionality and features.
1. Can’t read some text as it’s dark blue on light blue.
2. After manual starting, the button changes from “Start” to “Stop”. After a reload of WYBOT , “Start” appears again and hope robot is running. Not sure how to stop.
3. Schedule can only accommodate one start/stop per day, should be able to have multiple. Trying to set a time on the schedule is frustrating as the clock set goes away after each input.
4. Water temperature does not display and outside temperature is not remotely accurate.
5. No way to see battery life or solar charging status.
6. Send unit to top button does not work.
7. Overall cleaning status is now where to be found. When did it start, when will it finish, how much time left, how much of the pool has been cleaned?

I hope this app is working on a complete full stack rebuild and does not plan to keep making “bug fixes”.

The English grammar is not great. And it would make a lot more sense if there were descriptions and explanations for each setting option for each device. Also, there are some weird behaviors when sometimes I press buttons for example recently, I updated one of the devices and the confirmation screen was kind of odd and, gave me an option to commence the update again before it stayed at 100% which made no sense.

For operation, WYBOT generally works, although it occasionally crashes. The main problem I have is the weekly scheduling. I have not ever been able to schedule the cleaning. I have to manually tell it to clean every time I need to pull cleaned. No matter what I do when I open the scheduler, as soon as I select a date it crashes. This has been ongoing, and no matter how many times I request support, I never get any solution.

In wall cleaning mode, the treads are pretty aggressive, especially when going over the spouts the return water to the two sides of the pool frequently changes the direction of their aim. Those are pretty easy to fix. However, when it climbed up the wall across the face of my light mountain in the wall. It pulled the unit out, breaking the top piece, which was clamping it in place before screwing it in at the bottom so that that’s a big problem for me. We have to quit using the light but that is OK because by the time it’s dark, it’s time for us to go to bed ha ha

So far WYBOT works fine for me. It gives me the control of the cleaning pattern and what parts of the pool get cleaned. Could it do more? Sure. I’m sure there are more expensive models that have even more control, features, or maybe order you lunch. This is very basic. WYBOT gives me more control of the vac than my last pool vac which was none at all.
