Your new favorite app

I love that I finally have one place I can trust for hair and skin products. Hers makes it super easy to manage my prescription and check out other non-prescription wellness products. Every time I log on I see something new! I’ve had tons of success with the hair loss treatment and I can’t wait for the migraine program to launch. Literally everything I need to take care of myself is on Hers !

It makes it easier to figure out when my next prescription is going to be shipped. Hers is another way that this app supports my care and looks out for my best interest!

The best for holistic wellness

I’ve been using this app for years now & Hers is just what you need to stay up to date & manage all of your orders/subscriptions & get support to all of your questions!

By

Amazing!

I feel like Hers was LONG overdue! The bright colors, easy navigation, and helpful content really stand out.

What I love the most is that it’s very simple to chat with doctors, skip your refill, and shop for other products and services.

Hers makes me want to hang around a little longer and see what else this app has to offer whereas on the website, I would be quick to check in with my doctor and log off.

Check it out for yourself!

DO NOT USE FOR PSYCHIATRIC/MENTAL ILLNESS

I had an absolutely terrible and ridiculous experience with this service. I took the survey/consultation questions, and within 1 hour was prescribed AND CHARGED $123 for lexapro, with absolutely no actual comments with my “provider.” I received the lexapro in about 6 days. About 6 hours after I took the first dose I had an allergic reaction. I immediately discontinued and tried reaching out to my “provider” MULTIPLE TIMES, with no response. I eventually went to the customer support live chat and they told me to continue taking the medication. Despite the fact that I had an allergic reaction, I was only told “do not stop taking the medication abruptly without speaking to your doctor” when my doctor was no where to be found. I requested a refund and cancellation of my subscription which they REFUSED. About 1 week later after pestering the live chat agents and my “provider” I was then prescribed venlaxafine, without any discussion, from a completely new “provider” WHO SENT THE EXACT SAME GENERIC DEFAULT MESSAGE AS THE FIRST DOCTOR. Do not use this service, run away. You will not have any actual contact or communication with your doctor. They will not discuss side effects, treatment plans, or answer any of your questions before prescribing and charging you. this app is the worst telehealth psychiatry service on the market.

Beware!

This company is glitchy, costly, and dangerous.
I subscribed back in December when they had a promo, which started fine. They informed me that I wouldn’t able to get prescriptions for mental health unless I checked in with my physicians regularly. The first month was fine.
In January I started getting asked for check ins with multi physicians with different names which continued over the past months. When I got my second prescriptions they sent me two bottles of it at different amounts at a cheaper rate, one of which I didn’t order. Since these are mental health meds it seemed kind of weird. I ended up having negative side effects on the meds and decided to weed myself off them. I did not check in with their physicians and attempted to cancel my subscription. Then today I was randomly charged for a refill of the prescription with no notice, no heads up, and without speaking with their physicians. I can’t seem to get a hold of anyone at customer service to dispute this. My only option is trying to cancel my account again but I still have this new prescription pending. Contacted my bank. I don’t want these pills and was told I would need to confirm with a physician before they would send them. Seems like they work more on hoping you forget about your account then your wellness.

By

Be careful!!

When I first saw an ad for Hers it talked about a girl who got meds for her anxiety. I immediately checked it out and when I signed up it didn’t ask me very many questions and then I was given a doctor who immediately prescribed me Sertraline. My order was also saying it was being given buproprin but the doctor was saying sertraline so it was kinda confusing and I had to get a refund because they immediately charged me $123 for a 3 month supply and I chose the monthly subscription. When they refunded me and resent it they sent me the sertraline. It’s used to help treat general anxiety but it’s also an antidepressant and I didn’t know much about them. I asked all sorts of questions and it would take them four days to respond and it would be a different doctor every time. I asked if there was anything that I could take just for anxiety but they didn’t have anything. Coming off antidepressant’s is a long road sometimes and can be quite difficult for some people and for them to just prescribe this stuff to anyone without further questions about medical history or anything like that is kinda scary. I would just be careful and do some research about the meds they prescribe you. There were quite a few that had some crazy side effects.

Totally unprofessional and Irresponsible

This was my first experience with psychiatry, and I was very optimistic. However I lost my faith in this program when the prescription I was told I would be receiving and the records in my account did not match, I brought up my concerns, and was pretty much dismissed. Multiple times, given a generic explanation and assurance I would be getting the medication they prescribed. I did I’m fact receive the medication they prescribed, however my records never reflects what I actually received. When I brought this up again multiple times I first was told that it’s a “glitch” in the system which will reflect whatever medication I originally “requested”. When I informed them I hadn’t requested a medication I was told they put one in for me when I didn’t so they would be able to pair me with a provider. I never took my medication, and I cancelled my subscription. The dismissive irresponsibility and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, just Willy Nilly mailing out prescriptions after a basic online questionnaire is negligent and greedy, on par with drug dealers.
I’ve since switched to TalkSpace and have had a WAY better experience!!!!! Comparable cash pay rates AND they take insurance!
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

Doctors are condescending

I tried to sign up with this app for a birth control subscription since my insurance was recently canceled. I explained that I have been on the same birth control for years and it is what my neurologist and gynecologist both want me to be on for menstrual migraines. The doctor assigned to my case asked if I have auras with my migraines, which I responded to with no. She then responded again that it’s dangerous to take birth control if you have migraine with aura. “Please confirm”. I responded yes I know that but I don’t think I have aura you are referring to. I was confused as to what she meant by confirm. She then said well you need to check with your neurologist since you obviously don’t know what kind of migraine you have. I sent the exact quote from my latest medical notes from my neurologist stating I am being treated for migraine without aura, and the doctor still sent me a condescending message that she can’t trust anything I say and she will not prescribe me the medication that I need. When I’m not on this medicine, I have horrible migraines and faint every day during and around my periods. It’s horrible to me that they refuse to help people who actually need it.

By

Waste of time! Don’t fall for this “woman focused” scam.

I have amazing insurance and have no issues getting anxiety medication if I choose to, but seeing the this app commercials made it seem like they give you a doctor that really takes care of your needs and recommends A PLAN, i.e., can offer something your regular medical provider can’t…so I gave it a go. Filled out the absurdly long questionnaires etc., I shared that I get general anxiety but will take Ativan if I have a rare panic attack. A doctor then messages me a day later with absolutely zero questions and says since you take Ativan daily I can’t help you, please see a doctor in person.
It is apparent to me that this business plan is to throw at anxiety medications at as many women as they can as long as they don’t speak of any existing medications. Their commercial actually speaks for itself “you can get lexapro.” How is that a good idea to market it as an easy get? They are misleading that their doctors HELP YOU set up a plan. They do not care about you they will not help you unless you qualify for them to just easily prescribe medication.

HUGE waste of money and time

I do not recommend this service. When signing up I remember thinking the price was a bit steep, but I needed the medication so I went for it anyways. After receiving it, I jumped through all the usual hoops with my insurance to find out how to submit a reimbursement claim and was told that I need a pharmacy receipt (not a regular receipt of purchase — a special receipt with medication information). I reached out to customer service to obtain it and was told that this app does not provide these receipts. So not only do they not take insurance, they also make it impossible to get reimbursed by your insurance. This is really something that should be made clear in advance. I’m sure they’re aware that this is an issue for people as I can’t be the first one to complain. Just go through your insurance, it will be way cheaper and you won’t have to waste time and money doing it twice. I will be telling everyone I know NOT to use this app. They will essentially rob you of $100 or more. So much for making medication accessible.

Waste of time

I was really hoping for a way to receive help from Hers because therapy near me is too expensive and if I was able afford it I wouldn’t be scheduled with a therapist until MONTHS out with how much mental health issues have gone up everyone is too busy to help. And the commercials make it seem so helpful more than what it really is, I answered all the questions truthfully and when it got to the end it told me I do not qualify for anything. It should definitely explain why not just oh sorry you don’t qualify… okay? I’d like to know why !! It’s so stressful not being able to afford therapy or medication and then finally finding something affordable just to be told I somehow don’t qualify when I 100% have depression and anxiety, I've already been diagnosed but I can’t seem to ever actually receive help. I’d rate it at least 2, maybe 3 stars if they’d actually explain why I’m not eligible for help, but for now it’ll have to stay a 1 ! This is so disappointing and sends me backwards again.

By

DO NOT USE THEM

Do not use them this a malpractice suit waiting to happen. They are praying the desperation depression causes. You won’t get answers to your questions, they copy and past answers and don’t check your prior messages. It’s only about selling you the medication. They even ask when you sign up “have you been on the medication before” my answer no…. “What medication do you want” they actually have an I don’t know and a list to just check. So with no discussion, knowing nothing about depression, and not so much as a conversation I’ve been put on meds I now can’t come off of and if you ask the “dr” which is an rn why they didn’t read your notes or the question you asked they just kick you off the platform and tell you to stop taking the medication…… I scored like 22/24 and was never even suggested to speak w a doctor. I for one will be reaching out to the BBB DOJ FCC AND A MALPRACTICE ATTORNEY

RUN FAST FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I’m a newbie

I just want to give a short review on the part that I’ve completed so far. I took the chance & reached out..that was the hardest step for me. But Hers & the professionals affiliated with Hers have been beyond kind & they are there to answer any question or concern I may have. Also their promptness is fantastic as well. They respond in no time. So my review so far (I’m waiting for my medication to arrive) I would have to give it a 10 out of 10
Not one time have I had any uneasy feeling or felt ignored or unimportant. Best decision I’ve ever made thus far! Thank you this app! Look forward to see where this mental health journey takes me.

Great for a busy schedule

My anxiety and work schedule makes going to the doctor hard but I knew I needed something for my depression as it was getting worse and worse. I’ve been using Hers for about 3 months now and it’s been a great experience. I’m still working with my provider on the right dosage for me but I’ve had great communication with them throughout the months and have been satisfied with services so far.

By

Seriously fell short

I gave this service a try to help with anxiety. A treatment plan was provided for me after answering a couple of questions. There was no conversation with the provider. I requested a different plan and instead of updating my plan, it was cancelled. And, I was never notified. I reached out to figure out what was going on (I thought maybe my order was processing) and I was informed that I would have to redo the appointment because technical limitations of their system. So not only did my plan go updated and unnoticed by the physician and care team, they also wanted me to go through this again with no explanation. I understand things happen but when you’re dealing with mental health, it’s important to do what you say you’re going to do for your patients and they fell majorly short for me. I’ve since tried a similar more personable service and I like it better!

If I could give 0 stars I would

I have already asked for them to deactivate my account and they are still trying to charge me $85 every day. I sent an email to support about it and it was not addressed at all. Instead they sent an email to “rate the quality of support,” but since they didn’t address the issue at all I’m obviously pretty annoyed. Tried to do a chat to get my account deactivated, the agent sent me a link to my order number but when I followed it the chat closed. Just very terrible customer service for those of us that can’t afford almost $100 a month for an app. I ended up just putting an old card I no longer use on my account so they can’t take my money. It is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS how difficult it is to cancel an order or delete your account.

By

Disappointed

I have been seeing so many commercials and advertisements for this app. I thought I would give it a try as I feel the help I’m currently receiving for my depression and anxiety isn’t helping me. I was looking forward to trying this out and possibly getting the help I need. But unfortunately after completing all the questions I got a message saying I do not qualify for the services provided through this app. I really wish more of an explanation could have been provided as to why I currently don’t qualify to receive the help I am seeking.

I’m sure if you are qualified to receive care Hers would be a great resource for you but unfortunately I cannot speak on that.

“Primary Care” is a SCAM

I’ve been using this app for a few months now and there were no issues until recently. Their “Primary Care” visits are a straight up scam. You’re basically paying $39 to send a message to a provider, but they don’t have to help you. After my initial request for an appointment, the NP asked me NO follow up questions, and told me to go see a provider in-person. That defeats the whole purpose and was a complete waste of money. I wasn’t even recommended a medication, absolutely NOTHING. Very disappointing and TERRIBLE customer service. Brianna huffed and puffed on the phone when I asked about a refund and was very dismissive. Sad how people take advantage these days.

By

absolutely the worst option out there

i started using this app for birth control about 6 months ago. i had a horrible reaction to the first option i was prescribed so i reached out to a medical provider for help. when you reach out it takes 3 days for anyone to respond and every time they respond it’s a new person that doesn’t care enough to read the conversation history and will make you repeat your entire ask and wait another 3 days for a response. after days of back and forth and emotional distress i finally got a doctor willing to read and update my prescription. to prevent a gap in my prescription they sent it to a local pharmacy, but once i am down to a couple days on the pharmacy refill i realize that doctor never updated my script in the site and i am still being sent the prescription i have explicitly asked 10 times not to be sent. the contact with medical providers is convoluted, they’re all too lazy to read or care, and there is no way to provide feedback on your care or seek help. seek birth control elsewhere.

By

Nurse didn’t help at all

I tried to get help for anxiety and said I had incredibly minor mania I even did all the research to see if any of the meds they carried were ok for me to use and talked to my therapist before hand and found one they carry that I can take and when the nurse read about my very acute mania she said they couldn’t help me even though I told them exactly what medication I wanted. Glad you don’t pay until you get the medication but it was still a massive waste of time and now I still have to suffer through my anxiety that I can’t afford medication for because this was the only medication in my price range.

By

They will only take you if you are an “easy” patient

I got rejected despite being stable on my meds for years because of my history of the common stuff not working. Don’t bother if you can’t take first-line stuff like SSRIs. I have no insurance and can’t afford in person visits with a provider currently, really disappointed these apps are all so limited.

Editing to respond to their response: my medication is listed as being something they do give. It is not a controlled substance. I was turned down based on my history, much of which is over 10 years old, because I refuse to cycle back through / retry SSRI when I know what works and they do claim to offer it.

By

Just go to your primary care

I had some neck pain/ dizziness and head pressure and it says that they can help with neck pain. So I thought it would be easier to just do this online and pay $39. Well I do the questionnaire they provided and a couple hours later I get a message back from a NP (nurse practitioner) saying that they can’t help me because my my headache and dizziness can be something more serious. I did reply back and let them know that it’s neck pain, dizziness, and head pressure and I didn’t get a reply back and got charged the $39. I contacted chat and they did not help. They said they couldn’t refund me. Just go to a primary care provider. Don’t waste your time on this.

By

Fast & Reliable

I love how easy it was to sign up with this app and get quick assistance within their app. I started off with 10mg with a 3 month supply it worked well for a while and then I didn’t really feel the meds working anymore. I told the provider my concerns and they upped my dose to 20mg with another supply for 3 months. Im happy how easy it was to work with them, and I don’t have to come out of pocket for the recent change. I don’t have any complaints I am happy I was able to get help especially with me having a hard time getting sleep and battling my mood swings.

False Advertising! They do not offer anxiety medication, despite advertising they do!!

I clicked on an ad on TikTok that specifically advertised anxiety medication. I filled out the evaluation, and waited for my response. The impersonal, automated form response I got told me I had a “complex psychiatric history” (anxiety and depression) and verbatim told me “we can only prescribe one medication at a time, and ONLY SIMPLE ANTIDEPRESSANT REGIMENS.” Then WHY are you advertising that you prescribe anxiety medication?

I am aware some antidepressants can also assist with anxiety (due to my “complex psychiatric history” of having been on antidepressants before), but do not advertise that you offer anxiety medications when one of your own doctors said you don’t.

This service is for people without insurance who need to replace their daily glass of wine to relax with Lexapro.

DO NOT ORDER MEDICATIONS FROM HERE!!!

I have ordered from other websites to get medications like birth control. With other websites/companies, you are able to use insurance. After a survey and such, you send your results in and a licensed doctor looks it over and picks a medication for you. Before the order is filled, the doctor confirms with you that you still want the medication. Before you fill it, you can use insurance. This company didn’t CLEARLY disclose or didn’t disclose at all that you can’t use insurance. I put my information in and attached my card to see what my results would be from a doctor before committing to the medication. Especially to see if I can attach my insurance.

THEY CHARGED MY CARD AS SOON AS THEY DECIDED WHAT MEDICINE TO PRESCRIBE ME!!
didn’t even ask if they had the ok, or to confirm if I still wanted the medicine.

You took ALL my money that was left in my account and put me in the negatives with no clear way of canceling or fixing anything.

I legally have the right to sue over this. I want a refund as soon as possible.

Good for prescription refills, otherwise be cautious

Hers is great for getting a prescription for a medication you are already familiar with but I would be careful trying new psychiatric drugs on the recommendation of this app. After filling out a brief survey, I was quickly given a prescription for Cymbalta. I have been on Cymbalta for years but I recently moved to a small town where psychiatric care is unavailable and needed a prescription. This was good news for me but I was concerned with how quickly the prescription was given. I received one message from the psychiatrist assigned to me that consisted of a seemingly automated description of their services and the medication being prescribed. Psychiatric drugs can really mess you up if not taken properly and monitored by a doctor, I know from personal experience. Please just be careful. It appears to me that this app is handing out serious drugs to people who may be desperate and need real help. Go to a real doctor if you aren’t sure what to do.

I struggled for so long for nothing a WASTE OF MONEY

DO NOT USE I said specifically I wanted a name brand and instead of them telling me in the beginning that they couldn’t prescribe a name brand they sent the order . They gave me the wrong tracking number (to give reference i places an order on the 31st ) the tracking number said delivered august 7th In a completely different state and when I asked for an updated/corrected tracking number all they did was take the tracking off. Then it came in a generic brand that was the not even the right dosage compared to normal . SAVE YOUR TIME ,EFFORT, and MONEY!!!! ITS NOT WORTH IT. Then I got told they only did generic brands and that if I wanted a brand I should’ve gone to my primary ! Like if they would’ve been forthcoming with that info I would never had accepted it. I had even tried to cancel the order but then they said they’d “resend the package “ because it was USPS that messed up ! Just overall ridiculous and NOT WORTH IT !

Liars!

I keep hitting road blocks with Hers. I thought that this app was supposed to be my one stop shop for my mental health needs. Majority of my interactions with the psychiatric physicians on this app have led to much more confusion. Instead of asking questions or referring to a more intellectual and emotionally developed way of handling patients as an individualized human, Im left here texting a doctor who is trying to refer me to a depression medication or to seek help outside of this app to assist with the effects of a medicine that is not being prescribed in a way that assists me. I don’t feel that some of the doctors have my best interest at heart and I can’t help but feel like the risk factor must threaten the ability of your physicians at this app to effectively do their job. In which, enabling more anxious me. I’m not trying to be rude, but I paid for a service that advertises a healthy environment for mental health. May I please speak to someone that actually cares because the reassurance from your promotions of benefits that I originally approved of and purchased have NOT been received.

Horrible Psychiatric Help

I am a member right now and I am extremely unhappy with the services. I have just had a difficult time trying to find some kind of alternative so thats why i am stuck using Hers still because I desperately need some kind of medication for my anxiety so some is better than none i suppose. But overall Hers is horrible. They constantly dismiss my anxiety symptoms. I have had to switch medications several times now. Every single time you need help you have to talk to someone new (you dont have one set assigned provider) and reexplain everything to them all over again. I feel unheard, uncomfortable talking to them and almost like just giving up entirely but i am so scared my anxiety and depression will get out of control if i do. Would not recommend Hers to anyone ever.

By

DO NOT USE!

I thought at first, this would be the best thing for me, considering I have a full-time job and work many hours, at least 120 every two weeks and I thought that the price was decent but then I tried to cancel my subscription and instead it did not cancel the subscription so then I get a charge today and I talk to a customer support person and they said that you have to cancel your prescription 48 hours before the scheduled payment but if you think you have your subscription canceled do not believe that because they will still take the money out and then you are at a loss I have not taken the medication in a couple of months I have two bottles that I no longer use and now they are sending me another bottle that is basically going to be going in the trash and they will not refund

By

It works great for me but….

If you’re already familiar with the drug they’re prescribing then this service is great. I moved away from my hometown and my psychiatrist couldn’t prescribe my meds if I lived in a different state than where she is licensed. So it was very convenient for me to hop on this app and get a prescription very quickly without all the bells and whistles as when I went the traditional route, it took almost 2 months for my doctor to diagnose me and write a prescription.

With that being said, after 2 months, I was very informed about the drug I was being prescribed and was confident that it would work because my doctor took the time to get to know me and listen to what I needed. So I’m not sure how Hers can just issue psychiatric medication to ppl who’ve never been assessed by a professional in depth and may have no experience with these types of drugs.

In a nutshell, it was great for me because I know what I’m getting into and pretty much just needed a refill but to someone who’s completely new to medication, it runs the risk of being a little sketchy.

I love hers, but….

I’ve been using Hers for six months. Now I have this welcome message on Hers when it opens that I can NOT get past because the “continue” button is outside of the screen area of the phone and it will not allow me to scroll down or click “continue”. The desktop website keeps telling me to “refresh screen, session timed out” when I try to log in. I’ve deleted & reinstalled Hers but I keep getting the same infuriating welcome message when I log in. No idea how I’m going to order refills or speak to my provider. I was super happy with this app but if I can’t get past this dumb welcome message, idk what I’m gonna do.

By

Get ready to be minimally informed…

…And have them charge you as fast as they can without direct explanations or meaningful back and forth consultation with a medical provider. The access to this healthcare seems nice, but there feels like it is focused on getting your money versus helping people. There are more responsible companies out there that take more time to explain medications. They hide behind legalese and barely mentioning things that require you to have to read between the lines. They are easy to contact when you have an issue, but you will not be refunded.

Update:
It is nice you respond to these, but I reached out to support from the start, before I left this review…so why would you change your response? It takes time to contact you…and I am not really up to doing that if the answer is gong to be the same. I was told I could not be refunded, is that something you are willing to change? If so I will reach out as you suggested.

Hers is a scam they don’t have qualified providers

Currently between medication, I ran out and just moved to another state and my provider(s) will not respond or aren’t available for months (gotta love American Healthcare). I went to this app to try to get my medication. I have extensive knowledge on my psychiatric history and needs and yet they still tried to tell me what MY situation is. After spending 20 minutes filling out the standard psych questionnaire, they messaged me and told me to go to an in person provider because my case was “too in depth” i’m literally on 2 anti depressants y’all. It’s not that much. And I have tons of medical records and history backing my case. So now i’m back to square one and I will probably have to wait months for my medicine. Fingers crossed I don’t jump off a bridge. Thanks this app!!

At least they didn’t charge me the $350 i signed up for.

By

App is not intuitive

I signed up, everything indicated my case was being reviewed. After 18 days I inquired how long the process takes and they said I had to make an appointment. Then customer service came on and said it clearly says I have to make an appointment when I signed up and if I skipped that portion I had the opportunity to go back and make an appointment later. The problem is there is nowhere on the homepage or in my profile that says appointment has not been made. There’s no button to click on to make an appointment. Nothing. I have to go back in the chat and click on the link that was provided. I keep checking the link and no appointments are available. This is very frustrating. My status says that a provider is reviewing my profile or case so nowhere does it indicate that I missed a step. if you were going to have a status bar about where you are in the process you might want to add all of the steps a person has to take. Just putting that out there. At this point I don’t even know if I want to proceed.

Great App for excellent products!

this app just got better!! Now there is an app!! Amazing, easy to use and everything I need right at my fingertips!

Now about the product! I tried this on a whim after seeing the JLo ad. Took the survey was prescribed minoxidil and spironolactone to treat my hair loss issues. I figured it was worth a try. So I starter the treatment and noticed results and new hair growth with in the first month and almost no hair falling out when I showered. Mind you it was falling out by the clumps. I love this stuff and love the personalized customer service and medical care I have received. If you are on the fence- just do it. You won’t be sorry! Thank you this app for restoring my hair but more importantly my confidence!

Hidden costs Beware

I took the assessment and agreed to the terms and conditions. They offered 3 months plans, 6 months plan and annual. The 3 month plan for mental health was $167. Expensive but I figured for getting all my mental health medication shipped for free with a 3 month supply it would be worth it. I took the mental health assessment and agreed to pay 0$ dollars until after a provider reviewed my info and prescribed my medications. The next day the provider let me know that my subscription only covered 1 prescription. So $167 plus shipping cause it’s not free, plus you have to pay the pharmacy for the cost of the medication , they do not clarify this in the fine print. It is only revealed once the medication is prescribed to you. However once prescribed you cannot cancel and get a refund. I was really hoping that this would be a good way to get all my meds filled. I should have listened to the other reviews. 0 Stars
