Wrong location was chosen, right after I placed the order I quickly went back to cancel it but FlameBroiler wasn’t letting me cancel it, kept giving me error. Called the store mgt said they could not cancel it on their side. Even though they hadn’t started the order. I had to go through my bank to cancel the transaction. Disappointed with flame broiler having been a customer for years.

Downloaded FlameBroiler in-store to sign up for the rewards program. I filled out the form and tapped sign up, page was non responsive. Tapped again and received “too many requests” error. Tried signing up on a web browser and got “the field is not formatted correctly” error. Terrible user experience. Makes me never want to attempt signing up for the loyalty program again. Your dev team should fix this ASAP.

I can’t believe how frustrating the payment processing is on FlameBroiler. On multiple instances, my credit card was repeatedly declined despite all the info being correct, whether I retype it or use the saved info. Had to call my bank the first time, and the second time I just gave up and decided to try another card.

Tried another card, and this time got an error message saying “The sum of the card tips must equal the total tip.” There is no option to place different portions of the tip on different cards or anything, so this message doesn’t even seem applicable to anything on FlameBroiler’s checkout screen. It was impossible to complete the order until I REMOVED the tip.

I started coming to my local flame broiler & was excited to find out they have rewards through FlameBroiler , but for the past two months I haven’t been able to redeem a single reward after buying dozens of bowls! At this point it’s just false advertising because you’re unable to redeem in store as well. I’ll be reporting them for this as well, there seems to be no customer support or email to contact. Another annoying thing is they give you 3 free sauces & charge .25 through FlameBroiler if you pick magic sauce. But in store it’s free and out to get yourself. I just get it in store when I pick up since they want to be greedy.

Did you release an app just to release an app?
FlameBroiler should automatically pick an available time based on when it can be available. I used default settings to order, put in my card and saved for the future. FlameBroiler made me go back to select a different time… I picked the next available time, went the to the payment page, and again… couldn’t be ready in time. I went in a 3rd time, selected another 5 mins out, and then the order went in. The employees also have no clue what FlameBroiler does nor do they know how to use a phone number to look up your account to get credit. Train your employees.

Impression 1: Ordered through FlameBroiler , uber delivered the order to who knows where. Store couldn’t help me so I had to email management hoping to get a refund. So far no reply, no refund -just a waste of time and money.

Impression 2: Gave it another chance. Ordered on FlameBroiler and then found out the location is closed but can’t cancel on FlameBroiler so I have to call the store to cancel the order. Tomorrow is labor day, so now I have to wait two days before I can cancel the order. Fm.

I’ll update my review if and when I receive my order, IF I even receive it this time.

First this is the only food rewards app that doesn’t allow you to input your receipt after purchase. Second the employees don’t ask for any rewards info just white out brown rice last Employees always seem clueless when you present rewards to them. The manager said he could input my purchase that I made for my team but it was just their 4 star rewards and he didn’t input how much I purchased, just hit the number 1 on his end so I don’t know how that connects to FlameBroiler

Flame broiler is my favorite place to grab lunch, but FlameBroiler is sadly still lacking.

A couple improvements needed:
1. Multiple locations advertise FlameBroiler , but when I ask for somewhere to input my phone number to get credit, they say they don’t offer that. I’m told I can order through FlameBroiler for pickup credit but…
2. I like to order my bowl with broccoli only. And although FlameBroiler seems to have the ability to choose what veggies to order, when I go to customize veggies to remove cabbage and carrots, I get an error message that says “Max amount reached” like it thinks I’m trying to add more veggies when I’m actually trying to remove them.

Please fix these things and I’d happily change my rating!

Most stores don’t work with FlameBroiler , even though they advertise in their windows they do. It will tell you payment error, but when you check with the store as to why they say they don’t accept app orders or rewards. I also don’t gain any rewards no matter how much I purchase. They advertise as 10 points for every dollar spent, it I buy FB at least once a week and I never earn any points.

Not able to give my phone number at store so missed out on 25 points on first order. If giving phone number is not an option, please delete that from app. Please add the ability to submit receipts so any missing points can be requested. App states 600 points received for sign up, only received 100 points for sign up.

Love ordering ahead with FlameBroiler. It’s soooo much faster than ordering at the store. The only issue and it’s a large one is that I never seem to earn points. It says enter your phone number at checkout but this doesn’t appear to be a feature during checkout for me. Would be nice to get some points since that’s touted all over the place but the ease of ordering and quickness of it certainly worthy of praise

So I see that they’ve made various updates to FlameBroiler to fix bugs and other improvements. Well, they may need to make more. I specifically came to leave a review because of how frustrated I’ve been with FlameBroiler . I keep building up points, but I can’t use them because every time I try to use the points, and I FOR SURE have the item in my cart (for example, avocado add-on or mini bowl), it says I don’t have the item in my cart so I can’t apply the reward however, it’s still takes my points away. It takes my points away but doesn’t apply the discount. I have to make sure to “unapply” the reward. Very frustrating.

My biggest complaint is having to log in every time you want to order. I wish it left you signed on. Or at the very least offered Face ID, with a remember me option. It would also be nice to be able to select a well cooked protein option. It used to be on FlameBroiler for every item. Rewards are also glitchy. I can go days without being able to redeem my points for a free bowl, because it’s not a “qualifying item”. Other than that, it’s a decent app and fairly easy to use.

FlameBroiler is slow and makes it difficult to just make a simple order to get points. I should be able to just type my phone number in to get my points instead of having to use another app to try and get my food.

I’ve tried at least a dozen times to create an account on FlameBroiler . Every time I get to the sign up button, nothing happens. Every time I have entered every field completely and correctly. Useless waste of time!

I ordered in FlameBroiler so I could pick up after work but it wouldn’t let me move the time up on FlameBroiler so I ordered then got there and waited for them to make it. Added 10 mins. Staff was really helpful though.

Appreciate you guys listening to my last review!!! Changed my rating to a 5-star just for that. One thing to note, I’ve noticed that applying a $5-off coupon to a previous order results in a blank white screen. I know you guys will sort it out, but just thought I’d let you know :) also, in the customization screen you cannot remove particular veggies. It says “max amount reached”. Appreciate you guys!

It would be nice to place order within the same hr of pick up, I placed order at 2:45 p.m. and it won’t be ready until 4pm!!! That’s a big gap.

Super easy to order in FlameBroiler . Order was ready at the time indicated and every thing was included with the sauces. Food was delicious!! Thank you Flame Broiler!!

FlameBroiler lets you customize what vegetables you want, what rice and even the sauces that you want!!!!! In regular uber eats or delivery orders you need to leave special note and many restaurants can have them turned off. Here you can apply as many special requests that you have on!!! I order at 2316 w chapman ave They have limited time Spicy chicken which I absolutely love . And has past orders as an option so i can re order my USUAL!!! Also as a magic sauce person THEY HAVE THE BOTTLE ON FlameBroiler .. now i can finally enjoy sauce even with my other meals <3
