I love the idea of Arachnifiles, and I give this rating with awareness of the fact that this has never been done before. The presentation is amazing, but there are difficulties when I interact with an existing collection of 40+ T’s. It took me about 4 hours to start profiles for my collection. I could only imagine how long it would take for someone with 100+. I would like to see this process be more fluid because uploading an entire collection onto this is a bit intimidating for someone with as little as me. I would like to see a counting system that promotes more efficient inventory. The established presentation is very nice with the card swipes but I would like to see an option to view in list form. Please do not let my rating be discouraging I am very appreciative of the efforts that went into Arachnifiles. Thank you so much for what you have done!

I love this idea it’s something we have been missing for a long time. Where I’m frustrated is that I have added my 200+ collection and I save and then I closes Arachnifiles and when I come back my collection is gone please fix this

Every time I try to upload a pic for my spiders it crashes Arachnifiles . I have allowed access to camera and photos in phone settings. I uploaded one photo of my P. Met then couldn’t for the rest of my collection. I have had Arachnifiles for a year and it hasn’t been fixed. I have tried deleting Arachnifiles and reinstalling also.

I really like Arachnifiles , but I feel like things I save get erased, such as feedings, molts ect. Also currently I can’t even add a new Tarantula card! Please fix this! I have new babies I need to add to this cards!

The only issue is I have no idea how to get to some of the features. How to update molts and size. It’s very hard to get to. I don’t know how to edit information in my spider’s profile. But love the way it looks, and i’m sure it will get better.

It would be awesome if you could add the False widows like Steatoda grossa to the true spider category. Also, when I go to set up feeding reminders it tells me to turn on notifications so I go into settings to try but Arachnifiles isn't there under notifications. Also your apps settings don't have a turn on notifications setting.

Not really sure why you need access to ALL photos instead of just the ones I choose. Other apps allow that.

I love it but it always gets rid of the pictures I upload from my phone

The concept here is great, create cards, upload pictures, keep track of feedings and water. But can be buggy. Fast feed doesn’t always register and needs to be entered more than once in order to save. I’ve almost completely abandoned the fast feed feature at this point because of its intermittent usefulness. Great idea, but bugs related to the core use (tracking feedings) drive me nuts

Honestly Arachnifiles is a godsend, especially if you keep a lot of inverts and wanna keep track of them. I love the option to turn on feeding reminders for each specimen.

I’ve had one little issue with the wishlist, (fantastic addition to Arachnifiles btw) where I will go in to edit the genus/species name and hit save, then hit save again, only for it to stay the same. I’ve tried restarting Arachnifiles but ran into the same issue. Hope this gets fixed soon because I love that function so much!

I absolutely LOVE Arachnifiles. I love that it not only allows you to view your collection almost like a card collection, but you can also add so much information such as feedings, measurements, substrate changes, housing changes, molt stages, and sooo much more. I also love that you can add any type of arachnid, as our collection varies. Highly recommend!

The only down fall I have is that I have multiples of one species and there wasn’t a copy button, and I noticed a few species missing, but honestly, it’s still by far one of the best I’ve used! It keeps track of so much, and it’s very easy to use. The trading card effect it gives is also really keeping my attention lol.

Awesome app, very excited. I look forward to seeing more species added! A very minor tweak I might suggest is an “added” notification when adding a T to your wishlist. I really love the setup of the ‘my collection’ and how it lets you choose species, genus etc. feeding or other care reminders would be fun to add as well, and perhaps some interactive elements (similar to those plant watering games that remind you when to water) but I’m just rambling now since I’m super excited about this! All in all, great app and I can’t wait to see how it continues to progress. Great job everyone!

Amazing app, it’s so much more than just an index for your Spiders and Scorps. The keeper card feature is so awesome for showing off your T’s to others, much better than just your standard camera roll pics.

I’ve only had for a few days now and it is awesome I think that it is so cool that they have a full blown platform and I just wanted to say for people who are skeptical cuz of the 3.7 stars it is amazing

Arachnifiles is so good! It has all the information you need and more, I love that it has the information of the species along with a video from the tarantula collective! It even has a supply list!! I don’t have any tarantulas right now but when I get one in the future I know where to go to choose which kind I would like to get (along with some side research). There is also a wishlist so if you see a tarantula species you like you can add it to the list so you’ll never forget.

Arachnifiles is off to a great start. It’s intuitive to use and easy to backup your data. I love the trading card look as well.
I would love to see this as a future feature:
-A way to enter bulk feedings
I’m so happy I can track my guys on my iPhone now!
