I have only used NationalGeneral maybe twice. Now I cannot access it at all. States logging in, changes to checking account and crashes. It is useless, please fix. Horrible customer service.

Downloaded NationalGeneral so I no longer had go to safari every time and it doesn’t work. It crashes everytime I try to log in. Not impressed considering this was the first time I downloaded it.

Ever since the update a week ago, I cannot login or open NationalGeneral I just tried to delete NationalGeneral and reinstall it and log back in and it still having me login and then closing NationalGeneral completely. I think there’s a technical issue from the last update I can’t see my account I can’t see how much I owe. I can’t see when I have to pay.

Ever since the beginning of September when I have attempted to use NationalGeneral to pay my bill, NationalGeneral crashes. EVERY SINGLE TIME. The months just about over what’s going on? The service and rate of the company are fine. Whenever I’ve had to reach out over the phone the customer service is great. But this is incredibly annoying.

After last up date app crashes every time I attempt to login. I have uninstall and reinstall several times and turn my device off and back on with same result, it still crashes. Please fix the problem as it was ok till you decided to update it.

Every time I try and log into NationalGeneral it says it doesnt recognize me. Then I get locked out then I go to the home page and try and live chat. Nope that isnt possible. Then I call the main number and they either transfer me to my agent (who cant help with technical and website issues) or I get transferred to different departments then back to my agent. Ive been on the phone for 1 hour today…and voila! They transferred me to my agent AGAIN!!! Hes fed up Im fed up and he’s making a call now! How can a large company be so horrible at technology and customer service???!!!

NationalGeneral is a nightmare. It takes forever to load and sometimes doesn’t load at all - that’s problematic if you need to access information quickly (accident, law enforcement, breakdown, etc). It also uses a unique login ID vs the policy # on the site. That’s effectively 2 different login IDs for the same account and Apple won’t track both without some manipulation. If NationalGeneral is down and you don’t remember your policy number to log into the website you’re out of luck. Today, i’m out of luck. I have to call the 800# and scavenge for a pen and paper to write it down. Absolute garbage in 2024.

So I downloaded NationalGeneral and was only able to use it once to look at my id cards and now it just keeps telling me to update but doesn’t give me the option to update so it’s become useless

NationalGeneral ridiculous I been trying to use it all day I just paid for this couple days ago and it’s been giving me issues. Now it’s saying to update but there’s no update it’s fully up to date.

I was involved in an auto accident and actually notified national general the claims adjuster lied and said I did not notify them.

Downloaded NationalGeneral hoping to be able manage my account but it crashes continuously

I read the reviews before downloading NationalGeneral and they are all spot on. NationalGeneral crashed as soon as I logged on for the first time. It routes you to the actual website if you need to edit your information. No roadside assistance features. NationalGeneral serves no purpose versus the website.

I’ve paid my insurance through NationalGeneral this month and I want to be able to pay for it next month. My login credentials policy number are not working this is really odd since NationalGeneral was working fine earlier this month. Please fix this.

NationalGeneral is barely functional and will load after you’ve aged a day or two.. the online chat with a rep has never worked for me.. and calling for help on the policy is a complete waste of time. This company is a absolutely worthless for customer support. I will never use them again…

I upgraded my phone and NationalGeneral seems to not work I’ve deleted it multiple times, created a new account, changed passwords. Nothing seems to work. I try and log in and it just stays in the loading page.

Check the other car insurance app ratings before you go further with these guys. If you cancel day one your short fine will be much less then waiting down the line

If You are downloading NationalGeneral is probably because you already bought a policy with this company. I highly do not recommend them at all because in my experience I had full coverage in my car and they do not want to fix it and now they’re telling me it’s a total loss. It has been very hard trying to get in contact with an adjuster or anyone by all means. My car has literally been in the shop for over a month. Their service is just very sorry and overall do not recommend this company at all. If you get this company and end up, needing to file a claim, you might as well to get an attorney too.

I can login on the website, but when I try to login on NationalGeneral is just spins.

Always says wrong password. And I write mine down In notes. Or it just kicks me out of app. Web page is also glitchy

I made the payment, an as soon as I did it said that my card declined, althought there was a couple hundred extra in my account. Took the money out, yet it still says its not paid. Wait times up to 30 minutes plus. Can't log into NationalGeneral either now 280 dollars from a late payment because I can't use their service, is up in lala land.

NationalGeneral is terrible compared to farmers insurance. You cant even find roadside assistance on NationalGeneral .I asked customer service a question and hung up on me and there is no option to survey review my person. On top of that just to get help took 20 minutes!!! Nce we got help it then said to wait 1 hour

If your going to provide an application for easy access, perhaps verify that NationalGeneral actually lets the user login. NationalGeneral is utter garbage and half the time it doesn’t even work. Fix your app or simply don’t have one.

Every since time I try to log in on NationalGeneral I can’t. It starts up okay then as soon as I go to log in it instantly crashes. I tried deleting and reinstalling NationalGeneral and still isn’t working.

It say our policy is not supported by NationalGeneral but we can get on the site from our home computer. It actually worked a month ago but nothing now.

From the get-go, this company and this garbage app are problematic. No documents posted in app, yet they inundate you with emails and calls of policy changes if action is not taken. Calls are not taken on their end as nothing gets addressed or answered. Makes one realize the price paid taking a second rate insurance company. Avoid this company like the plague.NationalGeneral is pointless and has nothing to display.

Can you please fix the terms and conditions website to where I can see it? Safari won’t allow me to due to the website may be impersonating nghcprivacy.com to steal my personal or financial information. I can’t make an account unless you fix this.

I was a huge Allstate Fan. I use a broker and was recommended to use this sister company of Allstate. My main problem though is NationalGeneral and the website. I save logins and passwords for everything. I tried logging in on NationalGeneral and website and I get one of the two errors. The main one is to make sure I’m entering the correct policy number. Well unless on the paperwork and cards I was given that have policy number is wrong, there’s an issues on their part. It recognizes my user ID but not password. Ok so let’s reset. I reset and I get an error that Username or Password is incorrect. This happens on both NationalGeneral and website. Maybe it could be User error or maybe this tech nerd is finding a flaw in your login. I’ll make a call tomorrow. Hopefully I don’t run into bad customer service like the reviewer before did to fix this.

NationalGeneral is terrible it wont allow me to sign in even after i changed my password. Its a terrible lagging app always has issues. Its like they dont care about their customers ability to access insurance information. The developers need to address the issues asap

For some reason every month I have trouble just to sign in to make a payment. Once I’m in to make a payment, app works fine- nothing fancy. But I keep finding myself resetting my password every month just to try to get logged in, which doesn’t even end up working and I get locked out! I always end up having to go online and do “quick pay”, which I don’t like to use because I’m manually inputting information that is ready to go IN NationalGeneral . Very frustrating.

3rd party undereducated and over paid … they lie to you to get your money !!! Connected to Fayetteville North Carolina insurance unreliable especially and NationalGeneral looks like it was made by a 10 year old with everything being limited and the only indication of help or navigation is through and customer service number …app is worthless!!

Unable to log into ap for over 1 month

You guys should update your app make it better for latest version and software of apple. Its not working with latest version of apple phone when you try to login it just keep loading like we have to for years and years.

NationalGeneral will not work for me at all. It has me sign in, and then it’s just says “logging in” forever and ever. NationalGeneral was functioning just fine up until about 2 months ago, which is when the problem started.

Uploads to login screen, but just says logging in the whole time. If I needed to show my proof of insurance there’s going to be an issue. Seems to be a problem among the reviews with the same thing happening

NationalGeneral is functional, but it adds zero value over the website. You can't make a payment in NationalGeneral . There's no capability to file a claim in NationalGeneral , it just gives you a phone number to call. There's no capability to request roadside assistance in NationalGeneral , again, just a phone number. And most egregious of all, 11 years after Apple Wallet was released, NationalGeneral has no capability to save ID cards to Wallet. What's even the point of NationalGeneral?

Company is great, but NationalGeneral is seriously lacking. Random force closes when signing into app and account updates not being current are two of the biggest issues. Again, I enjoy being with this company - NationalGeneral still needs to be done properly

If this is an Allstate company, why don’t they simply take the Allstate app and retro fit it?
NationalGeneral doesn’t allow customers to engage the company in any meaningful way.
For a service company, this front door is a poor representation of what to expect…or is it an accurate one?

NationalGeneral just says logging in lucky I have a screen shot showing I’m paid up and he let me slide he said but they should be on this issue since they won’t issue me a actual card to keep in my car NationalGeneral should be the fastest app on the internet since all it has todo is take my money and show a pic of a card anything more than that should be a call anyways

But NationalGeneral has been crashing on my end I’ve been deleting it and reinstalling it, trying to clear cache. It just won’t stay open especially when I’m logging onto my app. Please try and fix this! 😮‍💨

I have just started to use this assurance, until now I have no problem and I cannot review the company, but NationalGeneral does not allow me to program a auto pay. In the current days is not cool a company like that does not offering it.

I cannot view any Id card. Not the regular cards or the digital card. When I click on those items nothing happens.

Each time I call to make a general question they are rude it feels like they don't even want to do their job. I call today and I was in the middle of the question when they just hang up on me.
Not recommend bad service

I am a new customer of National General and I have a serious problem with NationalGeneral . The BACK arrow doesn’t work at all. If I get into a menu I want to back out of, I have to close and reopen NationalGeneral . Super frustrating.

Finally they have an app, hated to go to the website enter policy number then log in, it was a hassle. NationalGeneral is great as i can use dace id to sign in and save so much time and make life easier. App is okay works for what i need it such as paying my bill and seeing my id cards easily and quickly. Please accept apple pay as payment soon, it would help to be able to use any card and not having to enter card number if using different cards.

NationalGeneral just updated and it won’t let me sign in. It keeps saying update required but it’s already been updated.

Was able to login after signing up on website. View policy and get electronic version of id card which is the main reason I wanted app. Entire process of signing up for online account as new customer was quick and easy on website then logged in to app. Just need policy number from id card I got from agent. Whole thing took less than 5 minutes.

I’ve been using NationalGeneral for 6 months now and really enjoy how easy it is to make my payments without it being a hassle, 10/10 I do recommend!

Great app very useful glad it’s updated. Saved tons on my auto insurance payments.

Basic features in mobile app, but … it works! Was able to login without issue. Unlike another review said, I want prompted for my policy number (had already registered on website) and just needed to enter my username and pass. Had my policy info and payment info/history. Probably a fair amt of more features but had what I wanted & need
