About Debt Clock

"National Debt Clock" provides insight into the national debts of more than 180 countries! It shows the development of the national debt in real-time, and provides an overview of the year-to-year historical development of the debt.

To put the large numbers of the national debt into perspective, the app shows what you would have been able to buy with the national debt (e.g. find out how many Iraq Wars is equivalent to the national debt).

The app also shows how long it would take to pay off the debt when paying a given amount per day, and shows the debt as percentage of the gross national product.

The data is based on official numbers provided by the governments and are updated on a regular basis.

Just way to many advertisements. Some is one thing but constant. The flip side - good information but not worth the hassle of fighting the ads even though it is free. Thanks for asking

Also forget the nickname request - tried 3 and all taken. I am deleing DebtClock now and will pay for something else - silly me - still have to find some nickname that works.

Their are so many ads it is close to unusable, on the side bar when I try to press on a country sometimes it wont even work and just play another ad. It’s an ok app but it is close to unusable.
