Fun gameplay but bots

It seems as though I’m playing against bots every game but the gameplay is really fun. I would imagine once I’m paired against a human it won’t be so fun because they will have better gear than me. But so far it’s been fun playing against bots of a similar skill level.

Good Gameplay But Standard Miniclip Issues

PROS:
Good Gameplay, Refreshing Difference From Tennis Clash.
CONS:
Standard Miniclip penalty for not linking your game account with Facebook-you can’t insert your photo as an avatar or change your name from “Guest764456” ( or whatever number).
NO FRIENDS PLAY-this is going to be a bot-fest.
Standard “Pay To Play” Interface

Gets repetitive and stale after a bit

The first couple days of playing this game are a blast. You are receiving more items, ranking up, and getting better at the game in general.
After you reach silver league the problems start to show. Here’s a list:
1. Every opponent is a bot, it becomes really easy to tell with patterns your opponents do
2. Going to the net in this game is broken. To try to have fun I will force myself not to go to the net because the opponent bots rarely if ever lob, and if they do, the lobs in this game are bad and you’ll be able to win the point with an overhead.
3. The “ranking system” is this game is a facade. The top 20 players from each division get promoted based on the number of trophies they earned within that couple day long season. You get trophies from winning matches and tournaments. However, the higher the level you are, the higher level of tournaments and matches you can play which in turn gives more trophies. For example, I’m level 11 in silver league, winning a whole tournament rewards me with about 10k trophies. A level 20+ though can play a tournament which gives them close yo 300k trophies if they win. Making it impossible to get as many trophies as the higher level and thus the rank system is actually just mirroring the leveling system.

“ANOTHER ONE” (DJ Khalid VIICE)

Mini clip comes through with another great game. This one has topped them all. As great as basketball, soccer, the other games they make, they feel sort of restrictive in an odd way and way WAY to easy. As this game looks and feels the same, they broke down those barriers I just mentioned(it’s still fairly easy thought we could get tougher games)and they nailed it with this one. Much love and much respect. Thank you for another game. Maybe take a whack at a racing game in some what of a similar art style, I’d support it. That would be so cool to see. Love y’all and the devs

Don’t Waste Your Time

**********THIS IS A PAY TO WIN GAME********

In the beginning they let you win more than you lose. But as you advance levels they tend to more often than not put you against higher ranked opponents. They purposely make you lose more than win in order to get you to make purchases to upgrade your players and equipment. Eventually, when you make the mid teens levels you very rarely win, even against lower ranked opponents. The opponent gets to every shot, lobs, slams, everything whilst you cannot return volleys that you easily returned before. Your player cannot get to them without leaving his feet then when they return that shot it’s an easy layup cross court where you don’t have time to return to your feet and run across court. You used to be able to do this to your opponents also but no longer, now your opponent get to every shot no matter how far they run. It’s rigged to make you pay to win, unless you want to spend a couple hundred dollars to win then don’t waste your time.

Could be amazing

...but it is a manipulation to spend money. Your rank and gear doesn't matter in this game. You don't actually play against other people in tournaments. No matter if you have a long or short match, the next game is always immediately available. The first matches I usually am match against someone with much much better gear score, yet I have only ever lost once because I made stupid mistakes. You get to the final match and it is usually someone with a lower gear score, yet they are able to spike most hits. I rarely get a spike. They will play the net, and you try to lob over head, but they spike it right back. It takes all the fun out of the game. I get they probably don't have the player base to afford always playing against live players, but at least be fair!!!

I normally spend money on the games that I like on a regular basis, but I think on this game I only spent during the first week, and refuse to spend anymore, since there is no advantage to it to win matches.

Player Ratings

Your game was fun. That is until I started losing to players with a far less rating then myself. But then beating other players with ease that had a much higher rating then I. This isn’t just a problem I see with your game but most games have the same issue. You creators of these games promote fairness and good sportsmanship, which is great. But most of the time you cannot provide it. Since you cannot control WI-FI. I am sorry, but come on by now should be like turning the lights on in your house. I know cell phones run off it but gaming consoles and computers as well, so lots and lots of traffic. I don’t know how something digital can get bogged down in traffic. My point is make your games more fair since you do promote fair play, and don’t use the players as the reason as to why there are problems. You don’t ever directly place blame, but innuendos would suggest so.

Just like all the other bot driven games

This game is fun at first but just like every bot driven game that doesn’t have enough real players, eventually you will not be able to continue without paying a lot. They pretend to have real players playing instead of acknowledging when a player is a bot, which is misleading. Even down to fake Facebook photos.

Developer, call this what it is. Don’t make people think they are playing a real player when they aren’t. At least then they can determine if they want a rematch or not (who would want to rematch a bot, or accept a bots rematch?). Make a version of the game that is a fixed price where you just play bots. Don’t pretend to have a marketplace of players when you don’t really have one.

Waste of time and waste of money at the end of the day.

Fun game but needs work!

Ive been playing this game for a little while now and clearly the matchmaking is terrible. I will play someone my level and then the next match i get paired with someone 2-3 x my power level. Bot opponents know where every shot is going as you can see them moving to the spot before i even hit it.
Also, the daily missions are a joke… most of the time it involves playing a tournament or court that is 5-10 levels ahead of where i am. At least make the daily missions obtainable.
The last thing is that sometimes you go to hit a slice or forehand and it hits a lob shot. Seems to do this randomly but it sometimes takes away from the strategy

Crap Game

The game is fun to play but it is crap because for one you only play bots and can’t beat them at higher levels. I know they are bots because the character they use changes during tournaments when human (real) players can’t back out to switch characters. The league system is complete garbage as well. The number one player in my league has 150,000 crowns or whatever they are even though their player is lower ranked then mine and has played less games then I have. How can some who has only played 183 games have that many crowns? IT ISN’T POSSIBLE. If you want to download a game to just play for fun then go ahead but don’t expect to advance very far even if you do spend a lot of money on this game you can’t beat the rigged bots playing or in a league.

Fire game, needs friendly matches though!

This game is really fun. I started playing like a month ago and love it. But I am tempted to stop playing. It’s rare that I lose even when playing someone over 2x my ability power. I want to be able to play against my friend who introduced me to the game. This would be a lot of fun and would keep me playing for a lot longer.

Please focus on this and let me know if it is something you are working on implementing.

Yep it’s designed to get your money

Starting out I won and advanced up to a 13 or 14. My top guy sometimes had a gear score in the low 600s, but my opponent always had in the 7s or 8s. They give you plenty of points but few diamonds as you go up the scale. I refused to spend money to get stuff and I started losing games.

I tried to start over so I wouldn’t have to play as difficult a player. That only worked for a couple of levels. Then here came these higher rated geared players. It was frustrating starting over. Sometimes my player is so slow, and gets drawn way over to return a serve. By the time you can get your guy back on the court, it’s too late.

Customer Support Unhelpful

I really love playing this game, but surprisingly when I lost 300 gems through no fault of my own and my winning streak started over I was understandably upset. I wrote into customer service multiple times, and their response was basically “we’re not liable” and we can’t help you in terms of restoring earned gems or fixing the data error for winning streaks. They wouldn’t provide any more information and promptly closed my case. Wish they had been more helpful, definitely won’t be spending any more money (and I’ve spent over $100 in a couple months) or using as often. Customer service is so disappointing these days.

By

Fun

I can’t really say much other than it’s fun and addictive. The gameplay is great, other than the lobs/slams, but overall, it is very fluid. It can be very easy at times, and don’t listen to people saying it’s “pay to win”. I’m a low level and I’m beating people three times my level. Yes, better gear helps, but if your good at the game, it doesn’t matter what your gear is.

By

Matchmaking is terrible

The overall game is fun and I like the feel compared to other tennis games. However, the matchmaking is terrible and as you progress the bits become almost unbeatable. Now I am not the best at the game and while I do make human mistake the bots this game has are not fun. They predict your move before you make contact with the ball and it makes the game terrible to play. They matchmaking should be fun but in this game it is quite the opposite. They also make you buy almost everything if you want to become “better” and I would not personally recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a fun tennis game.

By

Beware

It is come to my attention, that if you write mini clip bad reviews, they set your account to losing I’ve written a critical review based on the fraudulent, forcing you to lose only to have to pay to possibly win dynamic. And since then basically, regardless of how much I’m winning by my player actually ends up losing so I guess moral of the story is one don’t play any of their games or give them any of your money or two if you are going to make sure you don’t write negative reviews because basically the developers set your account to lose they will not claim any sense of accountability for this, but I am telling you it’s the case.

By

Gameplay

This game is fun , it definitely help if you’re bored. I’m looking through the comments talking about the bots are extremely hard with better gear . The bots are pretty easy I wish the game was more difficult , once u hit the ball make sure u control the net and you would pretty much win every single time

By

Fun but…

The last couple weeks I’ve lost thousands of coins. I’ve won matches and instead of receiving coins, they were subtracted. Now I can only play certain matches due to this glitch. While figuring out which matches wouldn’t subtract my coins I went from having a couple hundred thousand to less than 1500. Rare is the game I’ll spend money on but this was one that I felt was entertaining enough to invest in and reward the developers. Now I feel hosed.

By

Terrible

All you play against is bots the entire time. Don’t waste your time and if you like to spend money on game like a whale I would look else where because the same bots you play in the trial you will see the entire time no matter how high you get, got to level 20 and power over 1000 and no matter what it’s always the same group of bots you play against…this goes for all of this companies games. They are fun for about a day and then you catch on. Highly suggest anything other then the garbage produced by this company

By

Very fun and quite easy game.

The game is a little hard but I am a pretty good video game player if I say so myself, so It was pretty easy catching on to this game and won 2 straight games through after the tutorial that weren’t even 3 points close. So far so good Miniclip. A recommend.

By

Fun bud has numerous issues.

This is a really fun game but I constantly get matched up with people who are at least twice the rated number I am. This leads to the opponent having an incredible advantage over me because their gear is way over what all my best gear is. That said I will revisit this game in a week otherwise I wouldn’t waste your time really playing this game because eventually you’ll just be playing against others who have such an advantage it’s impossible to win a game.

By

Pay to win, unwinnable, bots

It’s a pay to win game. Exclusively. I don’t really think you play against real players either. Oh and also eventually you’ll hit a paywall to where you can’t win a game without paying to upgrade. You’ll get people with over double or triple the rating and skill level and you can’t win. And by people I mean bots so even worse. I wouldn’t waste your time with this game. It’s just a machine to get you to buy a bunch of crap. And why would you buy a bunch of upgrades to play against bots? Stay away

By

Another in a long line of garbage

As always, mini clip spews out another pile of drivel. Starting with the awful physics, to the matchups, you would sooner find a diamond in a cess pool, than have this company put out a fun game. Constantly playing against players with over 100 point rating disparity, puts a damper on the enjoyment of the game. You can be up 4-0, but the game makes sure that you end up in 8-6 tie breakers to anger you further. Nothing says fun like throwing 50 bucks to get some made up crappy strings and sneakers that buy your ability. Certainly teaches people that hard work has nothing to do with it anymore. Either way… keep putting out the hits (SARCASM). Deleted game after 2 days because the crap is awful, under the guise of a cartoony piece of crap.

Fun in the beginning, now deleted.

Mini has some pretty fun games (tennis, soccer, and basketball) in the beginning. The graphics are pretty good and adjusting your gear is fun. After a while though, all the games get more frustrating due to uneven matches, the eyebrow raising physics, and come from behind wins by your opponent who seemed to get superpowers all of a sudden, likely pay to play kicks in. As others have mentioned, the game is glitchy with certain opponents. Gameplay will hang, showing “waiting on opponent,” and your action is delayed causing you to fumble your shot or direction of travel. Further when you finish a match and you and your opponent want to “rematch,” by tapping the bar at bottom, the game showed “searching for opponents…” for at least 10 seconds before starting your game. It also took a while to find opponents to play, sometimes 20-30 seconds. I noticed the same avatars (real photos) being used by the developer across their game platforms. Also, with your thumbs on the joystick and ball hitting controls, you will lose sight of your player if you run to the back corners of the court (lower left and right). Fun for a bit but moving on.

Online lag

It’s fun against AI but I win every game 6-0,6-1 so it gets boring. Until you play an actual other player but it’s too bad it’s so laggy you can’t even play. You can tell you’re playing a real player if you skip fast and it says waiting for opponent. I would play so much better if the connection wasn’t horrible. And before you say just get better connection I’ve tried multiple ways: 5G connection or sitting next to my wifi box. Doesn’t work, still the lag is unplayable.

“Pay to Play”

The game itself has potential. The only issue is the “pay to play” underlying theme that makes it impossible to advance without spending more and more money.
I am guilty of spending $20 , it is that entertaining! Hard pressed to find a tennis game that is challenging and not oversimplified by auto assistance.
Simply put, $20 is more than enough money to spend on this game. It’s a gaming app that is entertaining. It doesn’t warrant more than $20.

SCAM GAME! PAY TO WIN! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This game started amazing, so much fun leveling up and learning how to play, believing you are playing against other people! Thats UNTIL you get around level 18 and up and you start noticing how unfair the game mechanics are, doesnt matter how good you are it comes down to the player stats and equipment you own. In one game you can reach everywhere and opponent its a joke, other games, to a similar ball and angle you cant even reach it. Their play mechanics is based on each player stats if you play agains someone better your player just becomes horrible, missing shots, cant run, falls and cant recover… instead of facing a better player they just reduce your skills because the other is better, there is no baseline to your skills… I spent $25 got all legendary equipment and still sometimes cant beat simple shots that in other matches are so easy, how can this be fair? Every single game I played you are supposed to get better and improve, how come the stats improve and you get worse? Insane, they force you to pay $8.99 for a legendary ball set that will last only a few games! Its a total absurd.

This game had such a potential if you could play with friends and a well balanced experience system. Would be the best game for mobile. But Gizz such a scam! It’s frustrating how they steal money like that… absurd. You guys could make more money growing a fan base long term than scamming people believing they are playing fair!

I hope this game will improve soon

This game is pretty cool, in my opinion it has a potential to be great BUTTTTTT as for now every match I play makes me more and more frustrated and eager to delete this game. 99% of the time you are matched with bots, which is ok I guess for a young game. But things get so unfair as you try to play tournaments…as you get to the final you are matched with some super duper bot on steroids that’s always always always impossible to win. I hope you guys will reach a bigger audience, make more money and be able to improve the game, remove them ugly bots and add a feature where you can play with your friends online.

Love the game!

I only gave it 4/5 because I just won a match 6-1 and it said I lost 6-0 and also I would love if the scoring was more like real tennis. Like love, 15,30,40 etc. And doubles with a bot/ai or doubles with a friends or just be paired up with someone with about the same skill level otherwise I’ve only played about 3 matches but it’s really fun!!!! I’m sick and I actually missed my last tennis practice today before our matches and tournaments so this helps me like get back into the grove lol. Def recommend💗🔥

Fun until level 13

What’s up,

I found this game is pretty fun until level 13. The multiplayer I think is fake because there’s no way that the other player is always going at my pace. Sometimes I’ll let the replay play all the way to see if it will rush me or something when the other player serves. Sometimes I’ll do the opposite when I serve to see if it’s legit.
I don’t think it’s actually multiplayer, it’s probably just a bot. Anyway, just like most mobile games, just another P2W game. Good luck!

I like the mechanics of this game but the matchmaking is totally unfair making it unplayable

Game started off great leveled up. Had great long fair matches. All of a sudden I can’t even play the easiest court without the challenger being double my player stats every time. I’ve seen other reviews like this and I guess they didn’t change it like they said they would. I was 500 facing players 1,000 and more. So of course I kept trying thinking it would even out. Nope it’s even worse. Out of 10 matches maybe 1 have stats fair enough to be a good match and even then they have over 200 more stats. I don’t usually leave reviews… I like the mechanics of this game but the matchmaking is totally unfair making it unplayable. Glad I didn’t get screwed out of money like other people.

Daily Challenges

3 stars. Every day I get the same daily challenges. Get promoted in leagues or equip a new celebration. Leagues only end on Sunday. So why is that a daily goal every day. There have been a few times when “get promoted” is my goal and I have been in the top 20 but on Sunday when leagues close and I get promoted it doesn’t count toward the daily. I am level 22 but have never gotten a new celebration in any of the packs I open. I even saved up the 1000 gems one time. That fancy gold pack didn’t even have celebrations either. I also don’t want to have to buy the season pass. There also be times where I have two different tasks plus one listed above use the refresh on the one above and it gives me the second unfinishable task.

Ideas to fix it. Get promoted gets moved to a weekly goal. There are several thing that would be weekly goals, earn _____ for coin. Win a match a day for 3 days, play on 6 different courts, watch 20 videos, use 4 different players…
For celebration, if there was a card in the packs that just said pick one or wild. Than you can pick an outfit piece or celebration. If you could buy celebrations in the store. Or you could change the point packs, I don’t need more rackets when I open a slice pack, I would love celebrations. 25 lobs, choose a uniform. If that was the case I wouldn’t care if you changed it to a bigger number.

Mini Tennis

Here is a possible review sample on the game Mini Tennis: Perfect Smash on iOS:
Mini Tennis: Is a fun and casual tennis game that lets you customize your player, compete in different courts, and climb the leaderboards. The game is easy to pick up and play, with simple controls and mechanics that still capture the essence of the sport. The graphics are colorful and cartoonish, and the sound effects are satisfying.
I haven’t been playing the game for too long but I’ve been having a great time. I love the customizability and progression.
However, the game is not without flaws. The main issue I encountered was the lag and glitches in the online matches, especially when playing against friends. Sometimes, the game would freeze or stutter, making it hard to hit the ball or react to the opponent’s shots. This was very frustrating and ruined the experience for me and my friend. I don’t know if it’s a problem with my phone, my friend’s phone, or the game’s servers, but I hope the developers can fix it soon.

Just things I wish they did

This game is fun but I wish not all characters in game were right handed with one hand back hand. El Toro is based off of Nadal, wish they’d make him left handed with two hand back hand. I wish there was a story mode too. That would be amazing and being able to play with doubles with actual friends and bots too. It might be bc that copy right thing or something where in games you can’t use actual persons name but wish they’d like at least write there name like El toro and somewhere bottom write (AKA Rafael Nadal). I also wish there was a gallery of all characters in the game
