How many times do I have to purchase? Upgrades should be included! Ridiculous!

The whole point of HealthHive, which is comparing metrics, is behind a pay wall. They collect your data first and when you realize you have to pay to actually compare metrics, it’s too late. They already have what they want.

The latest update absolutely neuters HealthHive unless you subscribe. Even if you previously paid for it. Just delete it and don’t bother now; it’s useless.

Great before the recent update. Now all metrics other than heart rate and steps are locked behind a paywall. Interesting and helpful while it lasted but now I’m out.

I still only have the 1st Apple Watch so the faces, and many of the other features I can’t get, I’m not paying for a ton of features I can’t use, but you want me to pay to see my heart health!?! Thanks, was considering getting the updated watch but now Imy mind is made up for me by your greed!

Don’t update to the version that came out 5/2/24! They have removed about 80% of the features that came with the free version just prior to this update. There is pretty much nothing to look at anymore unless you are willing to pay the subscription. I feel like if you don’t pay you see a very limited amount of comparison information about yourself. However, I believe they are using your data to share with everyone else.

This company’s business model is based on aggregating information most of which the Apple apps provide and putting slightly useful additional information behind a series of suprise incremental paywalls that over promise. The apps have some utility but the surprise paywalls are annoying. Just list what HealthHive does, set a price and offer 10 days free.

With the latest update ,it says that it doesn’t work for my iPad,which is only a couple years old..

Very nicely designed, beautiful and useful histograms. However, very few metrics can be compared, making a subscription not worth it. It would be interesting to get sleep stages and other health /fitness metrics.

I really need to be able to compare/filter data based on arbitrary metrics such as: - graphing RHR based on different sleep duration categories; - graphing VO2 based on exercise length; - graphing step length for actual people height; - etc etc, you name it! See, I really love playing with data 🤓 Currently it can only filter/categorize based on Demographics, but for most metrics you get blunt normal curves using the default filters. For anything useful to come out of the data, one must be able to filter anything by anything. tbh before buying the full version it said “filter based on age, bmi, *and more*” and I’m a bit disappointed the “and more” part did not include what I thought it does at first.

I love HealthHive , however what is the timeframe for each of the metrics? Is it all my data going back 8 years or is it YTD? I don’t see where it says. Also, please add percentiles. For example, I can see I’m in one of the bars on the right of center, however I want to know the sum of all the bars to the left. Is my heart rate higher than 80% of users? 75? 95? This info would be very useful.

I love all this data. One critique. In some views the data is unreadable— there just isn’t room. It would be nice if you clicked on a bar the number would become legible. That being said, my particular data is always obvious and informative. It would be nice to print a PDF with all the data so I can see it all at once and to look at the information over time easily.

I had always wondered as to where my health parameters are relative to others in my age group - HealthHive addresses that well.
However, stats by themselves say only so much - some suggestions if incorporated would make HealthHive more useful.
- besides comparison, it would help to know what is the target band of metrics the user should shoot for
- some guidelines on how to improve heart health to get to those targets
- built in explanation for several of the parameters
- snapshots at different dates of metrics to track user progress over time - else it is just remains a single view report card
- automatic update in background of parameters without a profile submission every time
- I use HeartWatch as well and sone level of integration is coming up I hope

Of course , I would be willing to pay more if such features were available.
All in all a good app and holds lot of potential

HealthHive keeps getting better and better and I use it as a "one stop" look at how my health parameters stand up to my contemporaries. It's beyond me why people should expect apps like this to be free. Do people like that? Also work for free, probably not.

It's a great app and I purchased it immediately! The only complain that I have is that in the filtered mode, there is no above-or-below percentages anymore.

Always amassing how this and other apps know so much about us but they do.

Great app if you like health data and seeing comparisons. Really nice overall.

Comparisons are too convoluted. Much easier to understand the previous version. I do not like it. Can I get a refund in my remaining subscription if there is no way to restore the previous interface? It’s crap now. Sorry, not sorry
