I love shopping at Big Lots and think they have great prices and products. However BigLotsOnlineDeals is not good at all. It is very glitchy in loading the correct screens. Then when you try looking browsing through BigLotsOnlineDeals you are hit with pop up’s constantly. You have to wait 5 seconds before you can close them out. I was trying to build my order and ended up canceling everything because it became too frustrating to shop. They also have adds at the bottom of the screen asking you to download. Save your time and just shop in person, don’t use BigLotsOnlineDeals until they fix this major issue.

You can’t search or shop because of the ads that pop up every few seconds! Don’t waste your time downloading- you’ll just be disappointed. Seriously, why does a store need to sell ad space? You’re there to spend your money on products, not watch commercials.

I could understand ads every 20 seconds if your prices were competitive, but I won't use your app to buy from you when you insert video ads.

This is the only retail shopping app I have seen that has annoying pop up ads. I shop the online site without this annoyance. There is no benefit to downloading. Deleted the worthless annoying app.

Was trying to shop but an add kept showing up every 30 seconds makes it impossible to do anything just use the website.

I will be uninstalling BigLotsOnlineDeals. All it does is constantly prompt you to download other apps. Messes up your viewing. Too annoying Also, I will NEVER shop at Big Lots again.

Impossible to shop due to pop up adds. I cut their credit card up because I couldn’t shop through BigLotsOnlineDeals !

While trying to place an order I got 7 different ads that kept popping up and blocking my order. Had to wait, each time, until it let me skip the ads. Get rid of this!!!!!!!!

I have never used a retail store app that had random pop-up ads. Not only does BigLotsOnlineDeals have ads but it has video ads every 30 seconds even during checkout! I will continue using their website and will never use their app again.

This is ridiculous. There is a constant ad banner in BigLotsOnlineDeals and pop up ads completely unrelated to Big Lots with annoying sound. You have to wait about 5 seconds before you can close them. Deleting BigLotsOnlineDeals.

An unnecessary amount of ads. Settings aren’t working properly, tried several times to reset password after app stating to do so due to updates made within BigLotsOnlineDeals .
Waited days for an email link to be sent to proceed with update and as of 3/9/22, still no email. App is in need of majorly fine tuning.

BigLotsOnlineDeals isn’t an app it’s just a shell that sends you to the Big Lots website. As I was using the “app” in a span of not even a minute I had 4-5 full size ads take up the whole screen while I was looking for a product. I don’t want to see ads I want to be able to look for what I would need to purchase. As it stands I don’t think what I needed was I stock so I’ll purchase else where. Also I would stay away from this “app” and just go to the website.

It seems like a joke. You are CONSTANTLY bombarded with adds, in less than a minute from that last add a new add pops up which you’re forced to watch at least 6 seconds of in order to manually exit, just to get back to the very glitchy page you were trying to navigate. Apparently the store doesn’t make enough money and their forced to receive profits this way.
I have no idea how to make a payment on my credit card through BigLotsOnlineDeals, certainly nothing made easy. Of course you can add a payment option all while dodging the pop-ups.
Don’t bother frustrating yourself with it

I’ve been trying to search for things that I’m looking for and every 30 seconds a full screen ad shows up for another website, game or app!
I have never seen a stores app have pop up ads!

I will be deleting BigLotsOnlineDeals. What a waste of my time! Totally unprofessional and extremely tacky.

i have no idea how BigLotsOnlineDeals has five stars. have you ever been on an app for any merchant and all they show is pop ads for other apps/sites? THAT’s BigLotsOnlineDeals. i’ve never seen anything like it… and it’s not like one every five minutes, i kid you not, it must be on a twenty second timer - BAM - new pop up… trying to login? better be fast - BAM - new pop up!! searching for som - BAM - new pop!
as if that’s not enough, they won’t even let you click out of the pop up without displaying for a minimum amount of time (usually three seconds)
just a horrible, horrible, horrible app and experience!!
please, others really need to tell them how bad this is so they stop… i deleted this garbage!!

You can’t even look at the items in BigLotsOnlineDeals without an ad popping up every second. It is the worst ever and wouldn’t recommend it at all. I would highly recommend you just look online if you need any info for anything relevant to the items you have questions about

How does your app collect no data if it displays ads every 20 seconds and every time you click something, and is not a fully fledged shopping app, but just a web browser? This is falsified information, and needs to be investigated! Until then, please stay away from BigLotsOnlineDeals, and just use Safari.

This is not an App at all, it’s a worse way to experience their webpage. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my phone, why did it keep glitching out and showing some random ad with no way to get out of it other than to close BigLotsOnlineDeals down and start again but then I’d have to log in again. I thought the beauty of having a store’s app would keep me logged in and make it easier to do business with them rather than a tornado of frustrations with ads and nothing improved over basic website experience. Here are just a few suggestions for BigLots App to offer:
1. Keep me logged in
2. Manage my purchases easily & keep track of rewards progress
3. Store my receipts electronically
4. Make my shopping experience generally better
5. Electronic wallet storing everything from my BigLots gift cards as well as my rewards earned and membership card.

Feel like I was being pranked or something! I have never seen a merchant app have so many pop ups or any at all. You can’t even search for a product without pop ups for other websites! What is this mess? It’s like when they make you watch ads playing certain games if you don’t pay for the ad free option. It doesn’t do this when you go to the Big Lots website so I wonder if BigLotsOnlineDeals was even created by them. Other reviews share my disdain I see. Ridiculous!! Deleting this crap of an app immediately!!

This is the worst app I’ve ever seen. Ads pop up literally every 60 seconds. You can’t look at anything because of the constant interruptions. There is no back button so you have to search the same thing over and over because once you click on a result the process dead ends. I uninstalled BigLotsOnlineDeals after about 10 minutes of pure frustration! I’d give it zero stars if I could.

Literally can’t use BigLotsOnlineDeals. It’s literally the worst app for a big business. I don’t get why every time I try to use it there literally a pop up ad every 60 seconds. Awful definitely deleting it. It’s useless if you can’t look up anything without having to deal with pop ups constantly. It’s crazy I rather just go to my target family dollar Walmart any app besides this one.

Have used Big Lots online a long time. Thought I would try BigLotsOnlineDeals on iPhone. After installing BigLotsOnlineDeals and accessing my account I was instantly confronted with awful third-party ads. Ads that were persistent and obnoxious! I find this insulting Big Lots. Within a few minutes I deleted BigLotsOnlineDeals . So much for customer experience.

While trying to look for lawn furniture I am BOMBARDED by dating apps among others! There isn’t even enough time to recover from the first interruption before the next one pops up! How are you supposed to shop?
Big Lots admin….awful app. Figure out a way to keep the customers who come to your site from going to another retailer to do their purchasing. Your app is completely unusable!!

I’m trying to simply purchase something through BigLotsOnlineDeals , but I’m FORCED to watch the absolute worst videos. The interruptions were so annoying I deleted BigLotsOnlineDeals . Big Lot!…Big Mistake….no matter how much revenue you are getting from the videos….you are annoying your customers. If you have to do it….may be once per visit not every 20 seconds.

Downloaded BigLotsOnlineDeals to purchase some furniture and after downloading it every 30 seconds an add will pop up that had nothing to do with biglots. Annoying and a huge distraction to the point o got frustrated and uninstalled BigLotsOnlineDeals . Remove these stupid apps your taking away from people trying to shop your site !!! If I could give zero stars I would!

Unfortunately it is hard to shop in BigLotsOnlineDeals because ads pop up and are very frequent. Some were inappropriate. All were annoying. I don’t believe retail stores should have an app that are akin to websites that are free but are supported by ads … again, it is annoying and has prevented me from actually shopping. I am deleting BigLotsOnlineDeals .

If you can deal with ads LITERALLY every 5-10 seconds then BigLotsOnlineDeals is for you. Its not even just pop up ads that you can hit the X button and get back to shopping either, it forces you to watch the ads. Its almost impossible to shop for anything. I find myself closing BigLotsOnlineDeals and going to the website. Fix the ads and it’ll be a great app.

5 second POP-UP ADDs every 60 seconds and they cover the entire screen!! I just deleted BigLotsOnlineDeals! I couldn't even type my password in without an ADD popping up! I have never seen anything like this before and will not be keeping BigLotsOnlineDeals because of it!! I wish I could give it a negative star! It is so bad, BigLotsOnlineDeals is unuseable!

If you like pop up video ads every 15 seconds while shopping, in addition to aggressive banner ads, BigLotsOnlineDeals is for you.

Really though… what kind of retail app is inundated with ads… banner ads is one thing but the pop up video ads are excessive and bad business. Will not use BigLotsOnlineDeals until they fix it.
