Still scrolling incorrectly since start of year!

This bug has been happening all year with every app update on no repair to it. Is anyone from old navy looking at these reviews? I have been updating the same review for months now. When scrolling, OldNavy refreshes the list further down the page than where you were. It goes so far down that it skips many items. Even if you scroll up to try to find where you were you, you can't because it doesn't show everything on the list anymore and items are mixed around. So for example if you go to women's new arrivals and are scrolling down, when it loads the page as you go further down, it refreshes the whole list and mixes everything up and you don't know if your seeing the whole list of new arrivals because you don't know where you are in the page of lists. I think it tries to load the next items on the list and instead refreshes the list in the wrong part. This happens when it has more than 20-50 items to show in a category, which happens to every category. And since the "New Arrivals" category is so helpful, the bug always happens to that category, always! This has been happening to OldNavy for months, so i barely use OldNavy anymore. It's too frustrating to even browse on it. OldNavy should function properly before adding any new features or else it's always going to be a difficult app to deal with and people will browse & shop less on it.

Not so great

I’m disappointed with OldNavy. When it comes to linking your old navy credit card with the shopping part of OldNavy , it’s not happening. I have to log into the credit card thru OldNavy , but then when I shop on OldNavy it doesn’t recognize, or give me the option to use, the old navy card without me having to manual enter it. Using rewards is even more difficult when you check out, it chose a 20% coupon over my 50$ reward and would let me change it. Rewards are useless I guess, unless you go into the store. I got so frustrated that I cancelled my order. I paid off my balance and will probably cancel the card as well. I work hard for my money and I am not going to wrestle an app to use rewards I earn when I use this card.
My last order I did pick up in store and was confirmed by email it was received and everything was in stock. When I arrived the 2 most important items they didn’t have. I walked back and picked them off the rack myself. I know that’s probably a store issue but the order was made on OldNavy , and there wasn’t a place to leave feedback on OldNavy itself. When I tried talking to the manager I was dismissed like A child. So all in all, I am not happy with old navy, their stores, their credit cards, or their app.

Constantly Logging In Again

OldNavy logs me out after a few minutes of inactivity, with no option to stay signed in, which is frustrating; most apps/websites have a “keep me signed in” option, or wait an hour before signing out. I’ve accidentally purchased items as a guest because I didn’t realize I had been logged out so quickly. I’m sure this is a safety feature but it’s annoying more than helpful. Also, OldNavy requires me to fully type my email address and password every single time, also annoying as both are long. It never saves either, or finishes the typing with a prompt, and does not prompt my face ID to make signing in fast or easy. It will occasionally prompt my face ID to sign me in AFTER I have already typed my email and password and hit “submit,” but at that point I’m often not looking at my phone and then it will not sign me in and I have to type everything again. I do not have these issues with any other app or website. Fixing either one of these issues would help a lot. Lastly, very often I will place an order and it never appears in my account, even when I was signed in to place the order. Currently, my most recent order (placed four days ago) shows up in my account on the website, but still not in OldNavy .

Major bug issues on the App.

Created an account and placed an order, exited OldNavy , got back on day later to check shipping, tried to log into my account, it said my account didn’t exist and had no existing order, so basically OldNavy lost it, I called customer support they found the order, so I mean, it’s whatever. It was delivered, just had no tracking and no History the order ever existed. Would also like to include that, everytime I open OldNavy it instantly says “uh oh unable to connect please try to refresh” like it didn’t even try loading it just instantly says that when opening OldNavy . Also, when logging in to my account, it takes 2 try’s every time, like that’s so inconvenient to enter my email and password TWICE just to check on an order. After the first attempt, it says “uh oh! We weren’t able to complete your request! Please try again” EVERY SINGLE TIME, but After the second attempt it works, of course lol, that’s literally annoying. I love shopping online for old navy but OldNavy is so inconvenient.

Would like to know who even rated this a 5 star.

Worthless

I seriously give up on OldNavy. I’ve given it so many chances and it never improves. The Face ID option never works. I will open my phone using Face ID and be in the exact same position and it says my face is not recognized. Then, when I finally log into OldNavy , I always get error messages. Either something can’t load and I have to refresh, or OldNavy is unavailable at that time. Every time I navigate to a new screen, I get a new error message. OldNavy will reload while I’m scrolling through items so I lose my place. Half of the items I click on say “sorry, this item is sold out.” My favorite is that they’ll run a “sale,” but will mark the majority of their items as new or best sellers so they don’t qualify. Sorry, your clothes are not worth $50. Finally, nothing is ever in stock for buy online and pick up in store. Yet, when I go into the store they have plenty of the items in my size they claim were not available. Clearly they do this so you can’t get the online sale prices they offer when you choose pickup. The only good thing is the rewards system.

Love the clothes but SO HARD to buy!!

Im a new old navy CC holder, 3 months approx. I’m a busy working 31 year old toddler Mom. I don’t have a lot of time to go out shopping so I like to order Christmas online on my lunch break. Every other time I go to log in it makes me change my password. Every time you change your password it tells you for your convenience we’ve erased all your credit card information... I know for a fact my password is correct. I even screen shot what I changed it to and made sure I re-entered correctly and it still told me it was wrong! How annoying to re-type all of your credit card and billing info each time you want to buy something! I don’t bring every single one of my credit cards to work with me so this time I could not check out. I’ve never had so many problems trying to buy online ever except with this site and app. I cannot stand how much work this is to try to give old navy my money so I’m considering canceling my card and giving up on them altogether at this point.

Eternally glitchy

I love Old Navy, but OldNavy is terrible. For as long as I’ve had it, it constantly has some bug or another. Updates are infrequent and with each version that is supposed to resolve one issue, another glitch is created.
First, it never remembers my login information; even with TouchID enabled, I have to type in my login, and it doesn’t do the Keychain autofill/suggest either. And then after entering my credentials, it insists on showing me how to use OldNavy - like a tap-through tour.
The second most frustrating issue is related to browsing items. In the search results page, at some point in scrollling (typically toward the bottom of the page), it’s like the page refreshes and suddenly returns only 2-5 results, resetting my search and location on the page. I also wish there were more specific filter options, like by materials or inseam style or length.
I won’t be continuing to shop at Old Navy via OldNavy, but hey- maybe that means I’ll stop giving them all my money!

Worst shopping app ever

I have purchased a lot from ON and Gap over the years—half my closet is from one of these stores. But OldNavy has consistently been the worst shopping experience of any app I have used. It never remembers my login credentials even with Face ID saved, I have to go through the tutorial on how to use OldNavy every time I log in, and it randomly crashes with a screen saying “something is wrong” multiple times, sometimes 3 or 4 in succession. I’ve had this experience for years and years with OldNavy and can’t believe the developers aren’t aware of it by now. I don’t know anything about app development, but the only other app I have even remotely similar issues with has multiple brands within the same app so maybe putting the four brands together on one app just doesn’t work. I would gladly have BR and Athleta as separate apps to make the ON and Gap shopping experience more seamless. To me, those two are each in a different category anyway and should be separate.

I love Old Navy

But… they need to change how they do business with the super cash, your clients come and shop to earn that wonderful discount only to find they can’t use them when they want on the items they want.

Also, I do wish you could add a guide to the reviews section that has measurements added for the clients to add. Really, some shoppers have never learned how to leave informative reviews to help others shop. Height, weight, inseam, waist, breast, these measurements matter, giving body measurements helps others to know if the item will fit them. Saying, fits true to size is only saying it fits true to your size. We can have the same measurements but our proportions may be different. Or better yet, update your sizing guide with the correct measurements of each garment sold instead of a guide that is basic for everything because not every small, medium or large is the same in your products. Although I am thankful for the choice of regular, petite and tall.

And why is everything made so boxy and big, you have cute stuff, but, for us girls who like to look cuter, most of the products are matronly or for larger women.

With that said, I have all the matronly dresses, I just sized down and will take in where needed.

All in all, I love Old Navy😁

So glitchy you may as well use the website

I want to like OldNavy because i like old navy so much….but it’s so frustrating! It’s constantly refreshing and than bonks and crashes. It always says “oops something went wrong” and says to refresh but you just keep getting that message after trying to load any page.

It also doesn’t scroll properly to the next page backs up to where you already browsed. Lastly it doesn’t allow you to add the rewards to your checkout here. You have to go to the actual website to check out and than if you want to use OldNavy you can go back there and thankfully the rewards stay in the cart from when you added them on the website.

Honestly I think I would just rather use the website for shopping at old navy. At least it doesn’t crash constantly and you can add cc rewards there without issue. No sense having OldNavy. No sense at all.

App keeps reloading while browsing

My recent experiences with OldNavy (the past few months) have been awful with the old navy app. While browsing, OldNavy will reload and show other clothes and not the ones that I had been previously looking at. After a few swipes down, OldNavy reloads itself and instead of picking up where I was it loads all new clothes, and will have a limited selection. For example, if I choose to look at dresses… I will scroll down and after a few swipes going down to look at the dresses, OldNavy will glitch and start reloading the view and I am seeing a different set of clothes and limited view (a couple of swipes and that all the clothes available, when previously there were a ton of dresses. If you are not able to support the scrolling, go back to pages of clothes to help. I won’t buy online using OldNavy anymore because I can’t view the clothes.

Horrible customer service

I have been an old navy shopper for many years. I usually just go to my local store and have never had an issue. But due to Covid the store was closed so I decided to order online. I ordered 7 things. 1 of the things I received in my shipment was the wrong thing. I called old navy customer service after ONE HOUR of being on hold. I FINALLY got through to someone. They told me they were going to send everything again and that they would also send me a postal sticker to return the items I had received. Fast forward 2 weeks I get the new shipment of stuff (IT IS STILL WRONG) fast forward a month and I STILL HAVE YET TO RECEIVE a postal sticker to return my Original order. It has now been 8 weeks. No sticker in the mail. Very very frustrating customer service, it is virtually impossible to get ahold
Of anyone to fix this and now I have double
Of everything . Cool. I’ll be canceling my old navy card because of the lack of customer service.

Long Tall Sally

I like OldNavy in general. It’s one of the best I used. I realized after placing an order the other day that I forgot to apply my rewards points. It would be helpful if it asked if you wanted to use rewards points upon order completion. And then when I tried to cancel the order and place it again w rewards points I couldn’t figure out how to do that. That could be user error but it could also be easier to do so I didn’t have to call customer service to do it. The customer service rep was very helpful. I was frustrated to have to read off all the serial numbers for my rewards points. I felt like the customer service rep should’ve had access to my rewards points certificate numbers. But I love Old Navy and that they carry “Tall” sizes for us long legged girls!!

New items and selection- and perks for cardholders are all limited

It seems for the last couple years the clothes haven’t changed at old navy. I see the same stuff and it’s redundant. For cardholders there aren’t really enough perks to justify having the card, the sales are the same and the cash bonus bucks are more than the points given and anyone can get that- even without a card. Another issue is cardholders should have free shipping and not be expected to order 35 or 50 to get it! I’m disappointed with old navy because the clothes are generic at best with old navy emblems. There’s nothing better about the quality and I’m most likely going to close my card and shop at Burlington or Marshall’s- they have more of a selection and prices are better! The alternative is gap and they are generic also but twice the price. I see a problem in the near future for this company if they don’t step up their game.

App is so-so/old navy cash is the best

I have mixed feelings about old navy. They do offer lots of options and many sizes including tall, which is great. But the pricing can be a little over and above what it should be when not discounted or when considered a “hot buy” or whatever they call the special pricing not eligible for further discounts. OldNavy itself is pretty buggy so I understand the frustration. But I love the super cash. Not sure why everyone hates on it. $10 off of $25 is 40% off which is pretty great. And to anyone that prefers kohl’s cash, just try returning something that you earned kohl’s cash with. Good luck figuring out why you only got back $8 for $28 jeans! The creative arithmetic always lands in the stores favor and not the customer.

App Faster than website

Much more easier and faster to access especially for major sale days. I found the website via mobile lagged so badly especially around midnight. I downloaded OldNavy and it much easier to access the checkout than it failing to get there. Makes my shopping experience smoother. I can add my favorites on the add and keep track of them when new color come or whenever they’re on sale. Pixie full lengths and pjs are my favorite. I can locate what’s available locally and online at the same time. I like the local pick up option as well. Promotional codes always visible. Never hidden or feeling cheated.

App needs MAJOR improvements. STILL.

I’ve been shopping Old Navy for years and while I love the store, OldNavy is a problem. It constantly stops working mid shopping leaving you with the “Oops, something went wrong” message which then prompts you to “refresh.” Hit refresh only to not have it work so you have to back out of OldNavy and hope what you put in your shopping bag is still in there. A lot of the times it not. And I’m on WiFi when this happens. This has been going on with OldNavy for sometime and still not fixed. Another issue was that my info is saved in my old navy app. Yet I had still had to enter it every time. Not too big of a deal but if you are going to offer a feature make sure it works. I mainly got rid of OldNavy because I got tired of it kicking me out multiple times while shopping. Fix that and it would be great.

Doesn’t Get The Job Done

OldNavy is absolutely abysmal considering it is supposed to be supporting four different retailers. Your most recent order is no longer appear in the order history within OldNavy . Making it impossible to know the status of your orders. Additionally the login page seems to be having issues. The Face ID rarely ever works, and it seems to not be able to remember your password and or enter the credentials from a password manager sufficiently.

This is incredibly disappointing considering that none of the Old Navy stores actually carry stock and inventory anymore. So essentially ordering online is the only option you have. However with the inability to be able to look at my order status and the inconvenience of having to login, I’m starting to find other places to shop.

So sick of this app

I’ve never written a review, but I’ve had it. You have to log back in every single time. Want to see your favorites? Can’t. It says something went wrong. Hit refresh. Does it refresh though? No. Ok I guess I won’t be buying any of my favorites. So I go to see new arrivals. Finally see something I like and the page refreshes and starts scrolling before I can click on it. Ok fine, here are different new items.. so I click on one I like but not before the page refreshes again. I didn’t know you could fit so many bugs into one app. If I didn’t know better I would say the Old Navy app actively works to get you not to be able to see anything you would remotely want to purchase. I find myself buying less just because I shouldn’t have to work really hard to click on something I’ve favorited or want to buy. OldNavy is embarrassing at this point.

Worst shipping ever!

Will never buy online from old navy again! They work with this shady company called lasership. How does such a big professional company work with such people?? I haven’t received my package and it’s over the promised day of delivery, the shipping company has yet to update me on where my package is, last update was 2 days after I did the initial order and they just stopped updating. When looking up this company they have a total of 1.6 stars and people accusing them of never delivering their stuff and even stealing them! I don’t understand how a big company that a good amount of the money from online orders deals with such shipping people. Guess they are looking for something cheap. Ups, Usps, and fedex are all perfectly capable of delivering for one of the biggest companies world wide. 🤦‍♀️ never buying online. And the stores barely have the sizes we need to even do a store pickup smh!

Sneaky with their “super cash”

I like the store and got excited when I earned a bunch of “super cash” from shopping on Black Friday, thinking it was similar to Kohl’s cash. Not at all! Basically super cash is like earning a 20-40% off coupon for future purchases. I have to spend at least $25 in order to get $10 off... (kohl’s cash is simply cash to use towards your purchase.). And if I spend $45, I still only get $10 off.
So I decided I would give it a try... and found out that the store has a 30% off sale anyway which is higher than my super cash discount. So the super cash isn’t worth using at all! Some Black Friday deal! It is all just a super hoax to make you think you are actually earning something special!

Makes me want to stay away from Old Navy and stick to Kohl’s where at least I know what I’m getting and where I can read about the exclusions on the back of the promotional material. (But that’s another story... black Friday’s tv ads for Old Navy said that everything was 50% off, no exclusions, but in store I came across several exclusions and one of my items wasn’t discounted even though it was included in the sale.

Great for all body types.

I love old navy. I’m very hard to shop for. I’m tall so it’s hard to find pants that fit in store but online I can always buy my size and if you wait for a sale you can really get a lot of good stuff you wouldn’t be able to get in store. Once you know you’re size and what fits work for you everything is a breeze. I’ve gained weight in the last year so having so many options of flex pants is a dream come true. The ones I bought last year when I was 240lbs still fit now that I’m almost 50lbs heavier. If you’re looking for low cost and good quality clothing for work or everyday I highly recommend shopping here.

Search, sign in and tracking need work

When I search I can filter to “women” and something like “jeans” but then I see regular, maternity, and plus. I would like to choose which one to see. Those are 3 very different lines and they should be filter-able. I can filter by size but then I will miss out on seeing items that are currently out of stock in my size, which happens often.

I do not want to sign in every single time that I make a purchase or especially to just look at or track an order. It’s a hassle.

Speaking of tracking, it’s awkward to have order tracking and order details on two separate pages. Worse, clicking on the tracking number only copies the number. I don’t want to leave OldNavy to track an order. It should be in OldNavy .

By

Not user friendly

Every single time I want to log into my account (to shop or pay my bill)my password doesn’t work and I have to change it. This is on OldNavy and through the website. Each and every time I need to get on I have to go through the whole “forgot my password” hassle. I have done this at least 10 times if not more. I will pay this card off and not use it anymore. And to top it off they lowered my credit when my overall credit usage (all my cards) was higher than even I liked. However I never once made a late payment to them, or any of my cards for that matter. My credit is good, I just received a VISA with a $10,000 limit so that says a lot about my credit. I paid off all my balances and Synchrony still won’t extend my credit. I love Old Navy’s style and pricing. But from here on out I refuse to do any business with Synchrony Bank.

The First Store I check when I need Anything

Old Navy is my GO TO STORE. When I need clothes for work, I check Old Navy first. When I need clothes for Any Event, I go to Old Navy. I think what I love best about this store is that a large part of their clothes are plain (as in no logos). This is extremely useful for me in a lot of situations where I need to look good, but at the same time I want to be subtle, and having no logos does that. There’s never a time I go in store and walk out with nothing. I’m so grateful to have a clothing store I love so much, and I never break the bank when I shop there. Can’t Say Enough about Old Navy!!

Never remembers me!!!

I LOVE OLD NAVY but the application needs lots of work. Like boat loads of work. The buying, browsing, shopping aspect is ok. Most times. If you’re like me when you shop you browse, save and come back. Well, when you returns to your favs only to find their gone. Need to manage your account? Too bad! No cards to show. Past order you need to check on? No past orders to show. I JUST ordered a $175 worth of merchandise 4 days ago and I have no past orders?? What gives Old Navy?
I’ve had this card for 5+ years and I always shop and pay my bill via OldNavy . Why is it always losing my information??
Constantly having to change my password like another reviewer said. So over this frustration! I’m a busy mom of 3 kiddos all under 4 years old. Give me convenience or I’ll delete my app and shop somewhere else!!!

Not bad

Getting a bunch of great discounts on OldNavy that aren’t available in stores is pretty nice however, there are a couple of annoying things about OldNavy that make it so 2006...

One is, I swear OldNavy asks me to login more than my banking app. It feels like I need to login every time I switch tabs. Honestly, it should always have me logged in after I create an account and maybe just verify if my account is still active in the background or something. OldNavy was built as if we don’t lock or phones or something.

Secondly, I’ve ordered a ton though this, what is with the 2 week shipping on every order I make (3 orders so far), how is this even a thing anymore? Yikes

By

Um ok what?

I love Old Navy. My entire wardrobe is Old Navy. OldNavy though, I don’t know but it’s not helpful. I am me, a woman so any button I hit with a generic prompt like SALE sends me to women, ok. But then I look and see if I can choose male, and I can but not from there or any prompt, only the shop by department. Then I don’t see the sale stuff, and the first category is alternative sizes or something. So if I am not a man and have a signed in account as a woman, I am not supposed to easily by men’s clothes? I find this incredibly deterring. If I am not at home with my laptop I cannot easily purchase gifts through OldNavy only stuff for me and that really doesn’t help me at almost Christmas season and looking to spend a bunch of money easily is prob what the earner,Old Navy, wants?

Great with glitches.

While I do love the ease of not having to go into the store and shop via app, there are a few glitches or things that are lacking that I would prefer to have.
1) my favorites are never saved. So every time I close OldNavy , I loose whatever I liked.
2) there is no option to write reviews on OldNavy . You usually get an email, which takes you to a webpage, where you have to manually sign in, in order to write a review.
3) I get the security of having to sign in every time you place an order, but it goes back to the favorites thing. I would like for OldNavy to save who I am and then ask for my fingerprint when I want to place an order
4) sometimes when you’re browsing, the same items pop up two or three times in the same sequences
Lastly...5) I can leave consumer feedback through OldNavy about OldNavy . It won’t allow me to or I would be writing all this in the “suggest updates” section.

However, I do love Old Navy and will continue to buy things using OldNavy . There are just several things that need to be adjusted for the perfect app experience

By

Great but can be better

I really like the idea of shopping a and paying for my shopping( credit card) all in the same place. But i would appreciate having store inventory available. I mean i would like to know exactly what items are present in my nearest store.. for example sale items, clearance etc. so i can shop knowing i am not missing out on anything by not heading to the store. And the prices are different too by the way from app to store. I mean that policy should be changed. Nothing to do with OldNavy . OldNavy works really well.

App need some chnages but store is awesome

I had been using old navy for quite a sometime and i am very happy with the styles, quality and selections available. However i am finding old navy app not user friendly these days. I have to enter my login information everytime i need to check out and have to add my phone number and address every time though my old navy credit card info is saved there. Also, coupon codes are mot saved automatically. On a different note, apps like macy and kohls provide me that flexibility and its easy to use them. Please fix these issues in OldNavy to make it more user friendly

App Not Working

I haven’t had a problem with the Old Navy App until today. At checkout I input my Old Navy credit card information and clicked on “Next” and it showed the round pinwheel for a few seconds and then it went away but the page didn’t switch to the next page; there was no error, no “you forgot a few more details”, nothing. I tried it a few more times (signing out, signing back in, closing app completely and opening it up, checking the card number was input correctly, etc.) it wouldn’t go to the “Review” tab. Finally I decided to order through the actual website and it worked perfectly.
