If you are looking for an app to store and manage lengthy notes, I would argue that there are much better and robust apps out there. The strength of HiSticky comes in its simplicity and speed. I use HiSticky to quickly capture thoughts and to-do’s because I think that is where it shines. The default Notes app that comes standard on all Apple devices can be a little clunky at times and doesn’t let me get to writing things down fast enough. This one does. It opens very fast and lets you jot something down quickly on your iPhone / Mac. It also seamlessly syncs across both of my devices which is a must have for me.

Now this is exactly what I needed...something to replace the Stickies app on my Mac that could sync with all of my other Apple devices. That sync feature is what really makes it worth the download! The only small suggestions I would have are:
1. Add a Mac widget for quicker access
2. Ability to change background color
3. Ability to have multiple notes open on the Mac at the same time rather than viewing them individually.

Like I said, very small thoughts that came to mind. Even without those features I still would highly recommend this download.

P.S. AWESOME job on the GoodTask app!! Precisely what I needed as well. A bit on the pricey side, but fortunately it comes with my SetApp subscription. Yet another app I would STRONGLY encourage others to check out.

I love having a separate place outside of my organized notes app to write temporary down stuff! My main Notes app has never looked cleaner!

No adds, a simple UI, and seamless iCloud sync between iOS, iPadOS, WatchOS, and MacOS. What else could I ask for, no adds? Oh wait, there aren't any adds!

Even if HiSticky was a couple dollars I'd still buy it. Easily a daily-use app now.

I love the developers design aesthetic here - so simple and clean yet allows multiple notes open at same time and can easily swipe between them. Can also create links to these notes - from GoodTask for instance. I love minimalistic design when done well and this dev really gets it. Fantastic app!

Love how Notes SE syncs on all apple platforms and works on older Watch OS's too (so important to me that Developers keep support for older OS's -- you'd be surprised how many developers don't support anything other than the current OS!)

Be willing to pay for an app like this or at least offer a tip jar for supporting its developers.

Only things I'd like to see -- the ability to change background color (like another reviewer mentioned) -- like the old Stickies app, but with custom color choices. That and a menu app would please me immensely.

Bottom line, Notes SE is beautiful, clean and simply useful, which seems like a rarity in apps these days.

Notes SE finally helped to rescue me from Text Edit notes all day! The intuitive notes organization and the inobtrusive interface makes notetaking seamless—just like it should be. Thank you for your efforts to make this beautiful app. I highly recommend it.

Opening Notes or other apps to take misc./quick ideas throughout my day was becoming too many steps.

If you like having a simple app to take notes without opening another ram consuming app, this is for you! Five stars!

Notes SE is growing on me the more I use it. It is fairly bare bones, but, that's the point. Simple note taking, there whenever you need it to capture quick thoughts. No frills. It syncs flawlessly over iCloud, which is handy when I create a note on my Mac and need it on the go on my iPhone. Well done.

I’ve only used Notes app for a few weeks, and can see its a keeper for me to journal and to jot down quick notes that pop into my brain. Still love pen and paper but HiSticky on my phone is easy access just reach in my pocket and start typing.

This isn’t a long form note app in my option but for short or temporary notes it’s great. Also the widget is nice to keep on the Home Screen to have quick acesss to a note.

Such a simple app, but beautifully executed. Love being able to pop open the phone app to record a thought and come back to it on the mac to look at later on.

The only notes app I could find that understands the value of a margin, and doesn't jam your words up against the edges of the window. Now you can focus on the words and not the chrome.
