Since the day of RareCandy’s creation, whenever you open it any music or background noise has its volume involuntarily lowered or muted - WHY?

Ruins the whole experience honestly, it’s extremely annoying to the point I don’t bother using RareCandy anymore because it’s still not fixed

Do not trust RareCandy!!

I bought 3 vintage packs from Rare Candy, and two of them (both base set) were fake packs!
The cards inside were real, but the wrappers were reprinted and resealed!

It’s been THREE WEEKS. I won and paid for cards. I haven’t heard from this app on wether they’re behind on sending cards out or what. this app is a good idea but they need to get it together.

Trying to purchase rare items and the freaking bidding box disappears. Got jipped of some fo the rarest and most desireable items, cash in hand ready to go, and RareCandy screws me over. Awesome.

I heard about RareCandy from multiple friends, so I decided to give it a try. However, whenever I try to sign in it keeps saying there is an unknown error that occurred. Don't know what happened so I can't use RareCandy at all

Noticed my orders taking longer then allotted 1-3 buisness days to say shipped so tried to log in using website to check orders but can only log in using number on website which I don’t use to create acct

It’s a scam. The rare candy boxes and mini boxes are a means to get rid of additional bulk. The majority of the cards aren’t even graded by PSA but CGC which is generally not seen as lucrative. The creator Leonhart has been at the heart of multiple controversies recently as the Pokemon community begins to realize this guy is a cheap grifter looking to exploit his fans. Avoid this plague of an app.

UPDATE: After waiting for a month I received the cards with some missing. I asked for a transcript or a video of the auctions that I won and have not received a response. Also, they do take days to respond and is pretty frustrating since they are not responsive or attempt to help the customer. Good luck if you use this platform.

I’m not sure if this is me or RareCandy but I added a lot of cards to my collection right before RareCandy had an update. After I updated RareCandy I scanned some more cards and for some reason none of those cards were added to my collection. I’m not sure if this a bug in RareCandy but I hope it gets fixed soon so I can see all my cards. It says I have 144 cards but only displays about half of them. I’m not sure if there is a limit or something else, I would love to know what the issue is.

Don’t see any settings option anywhere on RareCandy for saving addresses/payment options. Filling out an order and my 2nd address line didn’t show up on the final order screen. Doesn’t seem to be any sort of conformation prompts (ex: I can log out with a press of a button, no “are you sure you want to log out of your account?”). Do not want to order if I can’t see my full address on the confirmation order screen. Also didn’t ask for a separate billing address while filling out my order. Seems like it has auto saved my address from the order I have yet to fill out, but no options to edit it or my payment method.

The rare candy website is so much better than RareCandy itself from what I’ve seen.

Feel free to correct me if there is any sort of settings tab on RareCandy , I looked for about 10 minutes and couldn’t find anything other than auctions, buying, and an account page where I can only view my auctions and purchases.

It’s a really cool concept being able to scan your collection and adding it to an online database for everyone else to see, but it doesn’t scan every card properly. I scanned a base charizard from celebrations, and RareCandy just couldn’t recognize it and brought up 10 different cards that wasn’t that one. I personally deleted RareCandy after that fact, hopefully they can update it to work properly.

Overall, it’s a great experience! It’s definitely a valuable platform to assess the worth of card collections. RareCandy is user-friendly and easy to navigate for everyone. The concept and execution are solid, but the quality needs improvement. Latency is a major concern for me. After scanning my cards, I can see the card numbers and values increase, but the scanned images don’t appear immediately. I either have to refresh multiple times or close and reopen RareCandy after some time to view the images. The loading time is consistently slow. If the platform were more stable with faster loading, it would be an excellent app.

Scanning cards is hit or miss. More times than not it’ll pull up a card with a similar name and out of the 10 options it gives me it’s not any of those. I hate that once I scan the card I have to click 3 different options (tap the card, click add to collection, and then for some reason add to collection again) before the card is actually added to my collection. And I wish there was a way to sort my collection by set. Lots of potential but right now don’t know if this is RareCandy I was hoping it’d be.

In the collection page cards are missing even though it says it’s in my collection .Can’t search or add friends even with a link the profile just doesn’t load. Only people you can add are in the recent feed or YouTubers

Overall RareCandy is awesome , my only complaint is that my camera is completely messed up when I use the scan feature, which means it takes FOREVER to enter my cards in it. I would really like to scan my cards

I love RareCandy ’s features but it’s missing one crucial thing: a friends list so you can conveniently return to your friends’ collections.

Right now I have to get my friends to share their collection link every time I want to view their full collection.

Since we’re following each other, we should be able to visit each others’ pages within RareCandy through a dedicated friends list/friends page.

Loving this so far. Would love to actually be able to click follower profiles and see their collections without having to leave RareCandy , click a link, and then go back to RareCandy . The follower feature in general just doesn’t work well.

Can you just add a followers or friends tab or button so we can quickly view follower pages?

Chat/ messaging would be cool too but I get that may not be the goal of RareCandy .

RareCandy is pretty good to start but there are some changes that could be made to make it more efficient. For example, there is no way to mass delete cards in your collection.

Pokémon card AI Scanning is so much better than TCG Player, but some English cards are not being scanned correctly rather frequently and keep bringing up the JP version. The other issue is RareCandy saying it accepts Apple Pay but not allowing me to pay using it? This is particularly upsetting because of how quickly certain items sell out.

RareCandy is very cool and convenient but it only scans English and Japanese Pokemon cards. As someone who also collects the Korean version it’s kind of inconvenient to not be able to track those as well. Other than that this is a great app and I highly recommend to any other collectors. 👍🏼

Scanning cards is a bit iffy but for the most part it gets them right first try. A bit buggy and laggy kinda and slow but overall great! Just wish every time I tried to search for a card it wouldn’t freeze. :/ also I can’t view my profile. Oh well.

I would recommend RareCandy if you love Pokemon cards or just like seeing cards you may haven’t seen before. Easy to scan your own cards and keep track of them and there value. Only thing I hope they bring to RareCandy in the future would be able to scan other cards under your profile and get the prices of them as well like Yu-Gi-Oh cards, etc.

I’m in the middle of adding my classic pokemon collecting using the scanner. It’s incredible. Makes logging cards so easy, gives accurate prices and a collection total. You can easily scan the card accurately, if it’s a different set (base set/ base set 2 for example) they have a list of similar cards ready. You can select the variant and add to collection. If you have more than one variant simply hit back (after adding the first) and change the variant type and add the second. Best feature is after you add a card you get a button to return to scanner. I scan two pages, add the cards, hide previous scans and repeat.

The ONLY complaint to this point is the loading times. But when I get an error (about 1/50 cards) it instantly fixes. And I’m 100% willing to wait a couple seconds because I know it’s going to be the right card.

As a big fan of Leonhart since pre Covid, when I heard he was founding a new place like rare candy I had to give it a chance. I’m so glad I did because I got two cards I adore for a great price. People are really sleeping on rare candy auctions and I believe it will grow to be a huge competitor to eBay/pwcc/goldin eventually. The Pokemon community needs a dedicated auction site and this deserves to hold that specific spot. Super quality UI, great customer service and it’s even better Leonhart himself hosts the premier auctions, using an authentic auction hammer it is super fun and Leonhart is always doing the best for the community. 5/5 stars.

Although RareCandy is amazing already, you should add a yu gi oh card scanner and a separate card collection screen for your yu gi oh collection, these are suggestions so hope they get added soon

Such a great place for card collectors to find new & vintage additions for their collection. I love the card scanning features that tell you the value of your cards. The auctions are an amazing resource for finding the cards you’ve always wanted. The social feed gives a great opportunity to view other people’s collections & make new friends!

By far the best app to scan in your collection, it isn’t 100% accurate but it’ll get your card in a 1-2 tries. I loaded in my entire collection in about an hour since it’s so easy. Still haven’t used the marketplace but it it’s legit they have good prices.

A great app with a fun and loving community. Not to mention a great, quick, and easy way to collect card, see how much your collection is worth, and to show off your collection to others. Would recommend to any card collectors.

I always wondered if there was an app out there that could keep track of my Pokémon cards and I definitely found it with RareCandy. Not only can I scan my cards easily and keep track of them, it also lets me search for some really rare cards as well! I’ve only just begun using RareCandy, but I’m really loving it and I can’t wait to get some rare cards off of it and continue my collection with it!

I would like to say I absolutely love RareCandy the very best way to get what you are looking for especially vintage recommend that everyone try RareCandy and thanks to Leonhart and the rare candy team for giving us this platform to get everything that we want

RareCandy is very well made and helps keep track of your collection and what prices they are at as well. It’s very useful and helpful as you just need to just scan the card and RareCandy finds it. Saves a lot of time and can be in any order you want.

Easy to use and consistently getting updated to be faster. They are always adding new features too. Editing the custom order in your collection could use some work to make it more user friendly but that is honestly just a small critique.

RareCandy is useful and easy to use. I was able to scan a small portion of my collection in a short period of time. Once scanned, I like that it gives me an estimated market value of the individual cards in multiple variations, such as raw value, PSA graded, And so on. I do recommend RareCandy, and i know they will continue to improve. A+

Big fan of RareCandy, love being able too the pictures of all of my cards in one spot it’s very nice! The pricing seems to be pretty spot on as well! I don’t know if there’s a way it can tell between holos, foils, etc with just a picture but being able to do that without manually having to switch it would be awesome! Can’t recommend this enough for storing your collection online!

RareCandy is absolutely incredible. The camera speed and card identification alone is by far the top card scanning app. Not to mention the easily accessible and customizable digital collection keeper and organizer. Not only are those features awesome, the promos and updates on auctions and available products is top notch. Truly an app made with love by a team and creator who are passionate about what they do. I have been trying to find a good way to digitally log my collection and RareCandy has a great solution for it. Loving RareCandy and the effort going in to improve it. Auctions are fun and is a reliable place to buy new and vintage product without worrying about scammers

I’ve been shopping with Rare Candy for the last few months, and I am very happy to have found the platform in its infancy.

So far, it’s been an incredible place to find high end cards to add to my collection. My friends and I look forward to the Premier auctions each month!

It’s also worth mentioning that the customer support has been absolutely incredible up to this point. Same-day responses, and common sense solutions to working through any hiccups that might arise.

I’ve personally spent five figures through their auction house and plan on being a regular buyer moving forward.

I like the variety of vintage products they have. App is easy to use, auctions are fun. They seem to have more rare Japanese cards than a lot of other apps, which is great.

Love the newest addition for searchable auctions! Love how smooth RareCandy is becoming and it is very easy to navigate !
