Ordering is a nightmare

I have been placing orders online for years; now you have pop-ups that keep coming up on the order form, can’t get the order to go through when I call. They can’t find my number even though it’s right there my telephone number doesn’t come up. I’ve always always been a loyal customer on the highest rating four. Today it took an hour just to place an order for a dress. It continuously refused to go through. I called the order center and they couldn’t find my number. Couldn’t find my account. What the heck gives with Chico lately.

Signs me out constantly

First of all, this review is for the Chico’s app because this is Chicos Store. Reviews for how much you love Chico’s clothes should be done elsewhere, perhaps on the website or a Chico’s forum somewhere.

The Chico’s app is the most annoying app I’ve used. It constantly signs me out, and won’t save the login info. Just now, I’m on my third login attempt. I login successfully, go to “account”, then I’m instantly logged out. It’s beyond annoying! But when I do finally get to stay logged in, I get a “failed to load data” message for the first three times I try to access my account. No, it’s not my internet connection because no other app does this. It’s just the worst app I’ve used. I hope they fix it because I do like Chico’s clothes, and I’d probably buy more if they had a functional app.

Checkout issues EVERY time

I shop online quite a bit. I never have a problem ANYWHERE but at Chico’s. Most of the time I can’t check out on my iPhone or iPad, I have to go to my laptop. But, tonight I started on my laptop and it wouldn’t work and then it did work on my phone. I can never guess what will work. It always gets stuck when I select “Secure Checkout”. Either I can’t select it or it just spins. Tonight on my laptop I got a hard error. Had to close that session completely. I went back to my phone and that worked. I would love to know if others have these issues.

Ridiculous!

Chicos requires you to continually re-sign in, it’s processing is cumbersome in that it continues to recycle with errors that it’s no wonder trending items are zero by the time you try to check out! I had to sign in 3 times, it said I had zero in my cart twice- so I finally gave up on the 4th of July sale. I check to see what’s left and of course not everything I wanted. But what is ridiculous is that when I get to check out- my non-existing cart from yesterday is now part of today’s order! That is ridiculous! I do not understand why Chico does not do pre-sales for tiered customers-I’d rather get early notice and have the items I want versus the ‘thank you/reward’ trinkets you give me through out the year. You get $$-I’m not a frustrated top tier customer- business 101!

Online orders

Poor site. Even when I selected to only show me my size, it kept showing me things that were not available in my size. Then it told me (a site I went to from a Chico’s email) that if I downloaded Chicos , I would get 10% off my order. I did so, but had to start the order process again and could not find many of the items I had previously selected. Then I wanted to remove one item because the price was not what I thought it was going to be and there was no way to remove the item so it got in my order. Now I have to try to go back to the other site to see if I still want to order the other things I had on my list. Please correct these issues.

Check out not user friendly

Choices are to sign in or use guest check in. As member - I use sign in. Message I get - is ‘you’re already signed in’ . Ship to address is filled is pre determined by app. But I want a different ship to address. So round and round I go. Took me 20 minutes to get shipping address changed. And I don’t know how I finally accessed the shipping address change. Time consuming. Aggravating.
This was a 2 day project - I gave up using the website and day 2 used Chicos . Website is worse than app. Only difference is I finally got the ship to address changed on app. This isn’t my first go round with on line ordering. Same problem with past orders

Can’t expand photos

It’s nice to have your favorites and rewards, but you can’t expand the photos without tapping on the item and waiting for another page to load. I end up finding things on the website, then switching back to Chicos when I’m ready to checkout. Very Inconvenient! After looking at the item and going back, it takes you back to the top of search results. Also could use more filters, but that’s also the case with the website. Love the quality of the clothes!

Errors out constantly

I love Chico’s clothing and I enjoy Chicos to add to my list for future purchases. I shop almost monthly. I find Chicos to be so annoying that it errors out and says retry every time I make an edit to my cart. It is just easier to go to the website and login, as it also tracks under your account and doesn’t error out. It would be nice if the website when logged in allowed you to save items to your favorites list, as of now that is the only benefit of Chicos .

Just login to the website, less time than waiting and reopening and closing Chicos and you also then get the option of checking inventory at your lock store which you don’t get from Chicos .

Missing features

I am a new user to Chicos and have not yet purchased anything through it. However, I already see two areas in which it is lacking compared to the website.

On the website, I can filter tops by sleeve length, but cannot do this on Chicos .

Also, the website shows the predominant color for the item. However, on Chicos , no color is given, unless there are choices of more than one color. This makes it difficult to know if something is navy or black or an olive tone color or gray, for example.

Hard to use

I found Chicos very hard to use. One minute I had 3 items in my bag, the next they disappeared. It was like I was using two apps at one time. Finding items was difficult. I love the topper I bought, but finding it after I first saw it was a chore.
It never said what the minimum fee for free shipping, so I had to guess.
Don’t know if I would buy on line again, however I prefer to order on line. I can’t remember the last time I bought from you in store. I remember it due to the fact the customer service was so bad. I couldn’t get anyone to even acknowledge me. My father brought me to one not far off Bell Road. Beautiful store! He wanted to see the items I was considering buying, so I kept going back and forth. It’s his money I was using for my birthday gifts. He wanted to know what he was buying. I was unable to get any help because they thought we were a couple! My father was in his 80’s at that time. I never went back to this store in Phoenix. However when I piled the close on the counter to pay for them I had more help than I needed. I have never been back. Never judge your customer! You lost me for several years and had I not noticed the topper you wouldn’t have me back.

Had to delete and reload the app

Chicos works great, when it works. Somehow my data was corrupted and NOTHING worked, so I deleted and reloaded Chicos (make sure you remember your password) and it seems fine now. I dislike the way it handles expired credit cards (same with online version). Instead of letting me update the expiration date when a new card is issued, I have to replace the whole card and then there is no obvious way to just delete the expired version, so I have 3 entries of the same card with different expiration dates. Silly waste of time.

Your website

Dear Chico’s,

I enjoy shopping in your stores but you online shopping is very difficult. And sometimes I just feel like shopping online. I tried to use my $5 off , then it asked me if I wanted points and to sign up. I was already signed in. Very frustrating all around. I usually give up and order by phone. It locks up on you when you are trying to retrieve something from another page, etc. Disappointing!

Changes!

I’ve lived in this app for years and years; it’s been my go-to for both work and personal clothing. I had to limit my purchases because I loved everything! I still find great basics but many of the new items don’t appeal to me. I know there’s been a change in leadership which is inevitable, but I’m hoping we can come back to the stylish quality you’ve spoiled me with.

I still have my original parrot card and hope to continue using it!

Chico’s new app suggestion

I have been a member of Chico’s and WHBM for over 20 years. I was excited to find out that Chico’s finally got its application! However, after several attempts and changing my password, I was able to register! The system didn’t recognize my customer number or passport number. It would be great to update or delete the existing records in your system for security reasons and improve Chicos for other customers. Thank you.

Watch for Glitches!

I have been using Chicos for quite awhile and experienced more than five issues in the cart. Items appear not to have been added and then you have three! Another issue I had was an occurrence where it looked like the order was not placed (this happened to me three times!). I chalked it up to Black Friday overload but it happened in January too.

Definitely needs to be corrected.

Also, my wishlist isn’t shareable between different devices (sometimes it is easier to shop on the iPad and other times I just have my phone with me). Share-ability would be a plus. I am signed in to the same account.

My favorite, clothes, stores, Chicos!

As I have said many times over, I found the shop when I was traveling and working in Florida at the time in 1990 or 1991. I fell in love with this app and I do not hesitate to go through website every now and then. I want to thank Jesse for calling me to remind me that I had a birthday present waiting for me to shop for. I appreciate that reminder. Thank you! I just shopped and I bought some 3/4 length Slub Shirts, as I always love. And thank you this app for my birthday gift! You guys have always been there for me in a pinch, and I always find what I love. My favorite favorite store. BK.

Chico’s- My One & Only

I’ve been shopping with Chico’s for 20+ yrs, and I will be shopping with Chico’s the next 20+ yrs!
I do most of my shopping online now (which, saves me money! Or, at least, that’s what I tell myself!) Products & Fabrics & Sizing are as portrayed on the website/catalog! It’s the BEST! Once you know your size, you’re good!
And, Customer Service has ALWAYS been knowledgeable, helpful, and just, super nice! It’s like talking to a friend! In my opinion, they define PROFESSIONALISM!
Chico’s, you have a customer for life!

I’m back

I’ve been a Chico’s customer for years. I strayed from the true path and bought some items at Coldwater Creek. I’m regretting it! The quality is just not that great. Paid way too much. Their website was horrible, kept crashing. I just placed a large order with this app and I know I will be happy with my new clothes. If not they will take my returns with no hassles.

By far my favorite reasonably-priced fashion shop!

I’ve been shopping at this app for over 10 years at least. They always have surprised me with their creative fashion, somewhat outside the boring traditional suits and play clothes and jewelry. I really love the “not the same as everyone else’s fashion choices. They always have my color s, size (or they’ll order it in a flash), and their staff offer interesting options. I have FUN every visit. I’m very happy with all my purchases and will continue to shop where my heart is happiest….this app!!!

Shopping online

I truly enjoy this site. If you like dressing with the classic, this is for you. I can find more styles and always most of my sizes. Gorgeous clothes, and the fabrics are magnificent. I’m a linen and silk kind of girl and this is were I always find them. The quality of the products is superb and their customer service and support is A+!
I’ll hope to be shopping with you for life!
