I purchased two sets at the same time and after a short time one set completely stopped working even though I’d had NOT made an change or adjustments since initially setting them up; the 2nd set continues to work fine. Surplife is busy and should be simplified.

When I first got Surplife , everything worked perfectly! That was until a couple days later when it stopped working. It would be disconnected 99% of the time. I did just get new internet. However, it was always connected to the new router, so it couldn’t have been that. It said that my phone needed to be closer to the router, so I did that and nothing changed. I don’t really know.

App is very easy to use for the basic functions but some themes are extremely limited. For example there is currently only one single choice to pick for Thanksgiving for curtain lights. And it is an animation of a turkey on a platter which is fine but it also happens to be one that is very difficult to tell what it is when using curtain lights. There is not a good animation of a Turkey or several ones to pick from.

Also, the DIY section is very clunky to use. And I wonder how the developer actually makes the animations that they seem to very occasionally add anything at all to the cloud library. I was hoping the “ever changing updating cloud library” could have content added to it by all end users to vastly expand the selection but it seems only the developer does it, at least that’s what it looks like. I have had these curtain lights for about 4 months and only 2 animations of The Wild Robot have been added since. These of course have nothing to do with holiday themes…that’s usually the whole point in having these types of lights, at least it was for me.

Make it so end users can add curtain light content to the cloud library or at least make it clearer as to how to do it if that capability is already there.

The bulbs are fine. I wish they would stay connected better and have like a default option. Also even when they are low they are still kinda bright.

I was hoping that if I left these up all year, I could re program them for each holiday but they only have Christmas and Halloween. You can program pixel by pixel yourself but it not user friendly. I wish they would update with St Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mardi Gras, etc.

I love this little light and I didn't pay much for it. It did hit the floor and cracked a little bit so if you pick it up wrong the lid comes off. But it snaps back together easily and it still works!

Lights don’t stay connected all the time I usually have to just reset Surplife for it to connect. I think widgets would be a perfect addition

If you have the led lamp you can turn it on change the color and brightness 4 stars because it’s pretty much what you expect.

It kept saying device offline and I put my phone right next to it and wouldn’t connect still, but it was fun for the five minutes it was connected

I am shopping for smart devices that are compatible with Surplife because the privacy with it is extremely good according to Surplife store. Still, I’m wondering why tbis app is 500mb, which is twice the size of the apps that steal your data.

i really enjoy Surplife my only complaint is that you cant like sync them and have to manually pick out the color. its fun to have different colors but i wish i could just have an interface that lets me pick the color for both of the bulbs i got and they both change to that color simultaneously. my other complaint that i haven’t figured out yet is one bulb is glitching and wont change to the pinks or greens and stays at the same dark blue. probably just a glitch tho. overall i think its a pretty great app and does exactly what it supposed to do.

My only critique would be that the lights do not stay connected on my phone. They are still connected on WiFi but does not reflect the connection on my phone and I have to reset them in order for the connection to show up in Surplife .

Super easy to use, has many amazing light themes and features! Haven’t had any issues and been using it for two months now. Interface and design of Surplife is also very user friendly and simple. Highly recommend it for a cozier set up at home :)

Not much to add. Bought this bulb several linths ago and recently got a new one for another room. I set it to red every night to help with making me feel sleepy. The fact that I can set a timee to turn off automatically is just fantastic.

Surplife works great and exactly how I want it to, but my only complaint is that there is no widget/ control center widget available. I’d love nothing more than to turn my light off without having to unlock my phone and go to Surplife !

Everyone should have access to this kind of technology

You can control the light with many features! of you can tap the light to change the color and hold for brightness but with Surplife you can turn the light off or change all the colors with millions of colors!

I love my smart light. These are so easy to install. I wasted money on other brands that work when they wanted to work, headache.

I love how many options there are for the lamp. Surplife is easy enough for my kids to use. (Ages 10, 9, and 6)

App functions well and I like that I don’t have to get up to turn off my bedroom light!
