Zero stars needs to be an option. Whatever you did to Soulear , you’ve rendered it and the cleaner/camera useless.
Plenty of other devices/apps out there for me to choose from. But since I PAID for this one I expect it to work as described.

If you thought you were buying a device with a camera to show onto your phone and it uses Soulear, beware. It won't work. Massive waste of money and time

Read the details it collects information, your voice, how you use your device and sell it to ‘affiliate’ partners. Do yourself a favors learn from my mistake hold the to their 30 satisfaction return. Do not accept the meger 20% from your purchase th eh will offer. And only Pay for shipping to the US address.

I will file a complaint to Apple about Soulear publisher as the definitely do track your privacy even though Soulear Store says it does.

Worked fine at first but the latest update in May of 2024 ruined the camera angle and now I can no longer use the device. If the fault is corrected, my review will change.

Don’t allow Soulear any permissions even after giving them the camera doesn’t even work! If you bought this from loftandbeyond their website is flagged for scamming and fraudulent activity. Dont waste your money and do not download Soulear. Go to Amazon and buy one from a trusted source.

Data mining. Product itself doesn’t work.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD Soulear. OR CONNECT TO WIFI. ITS A SCAM.

The application is no longer working, the lights are on but Soulear screen is black, and it seems that many users are facing this issue. Please resolve the problem.

Opened the box, downloaded Soulear …then decided NOPE! It was basically asking to access everything on my phone! HARD PASS!!

Useless product and app. Won’t stay connected to the network for more than 1 second. Have deleted and reinstalled over and over again.

Do not allow Soulear to connect to devices on your local network.

I installed Soulear then through connecting to my Earify device it prompted to allow Soulear to connect to other local devices on my network. ( red flag ) I said no like always then Soulear stopped working. My ear scope now won’t connect and is useless. This is a scam.

Do not go to this apps support page.

My local network freaked out warning me to not connect. This is a data mining malware app. Apple you need to remove this.

I will have US GOVT investigate the people as they are caught red handed stealing data off of phones. I have had mysterious calls while using Soulear when it worked as well. Scam

I had this for 3 days . I fully charged it and I tried it that evening. The next day I was showing it to a family member and the camera did not work the screen color was all distorted. I followed instructions to delete app and redownload after I did that I only have a black screen . I wanted it replaced but still have not heard from the company. It’s not worth it to me and with no customer support to return and receive another one is bad news

App does exactly what it says it does when paired with a camera device. However, it also asks for more access to your device and home network than it needs. I believe this is a data miner.

I turned off all permissions and Soulear refused to work. Then I restored limited WiFi abilities and my connection monitors went crazy on phone and router. Something ( Soulear), was attempting to send Encrypted data. It was even attempting to use my 5G data connection.

Sadly this is another Chinese malware attempt. I’m suprised it’s allowed in the Apple App Store.

I rarely read reviews on things but a 2 star product made me read it while downloading Soulear and I agree with everyone on here. Data mining 100% ! BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!

Shows off like an American product but it’s from China and expect you to download a Chinese app that doesn’t steal you data. Product works ok but you are giving up more than you bargained for in the terms and conditions. Also they don’t make it easy to return it so be ready to be persistent.

Don’t get me wrong Soulear works great but I feel like it’s asking for a little to much information

It was really fun at first but then I tried it again and it was a black screen and I restarted my phone and a lot but it wasn’t working so I deleted it still wasn't working and i tried another device it wasn’t working.

I was just as suspicious of data mining when it came to Soulear looking at the other reviews but so far I haven’t had any problems. The camera works great the lights there and I haven’t seen Soulear accessing any unwarranted places nor has it asked for any permissions at all like it’s said in the paper. So far it’s good but I’m still keeping an eye on it

This is genuinely a good app. Does exactly what it says. The reason in needs the Wi-Fi to connect is for the ear cleaner device itself. The way it works is, you connect your Wi-Fi to the ear cleaning device, then the camera connects automatically. It’s extremely simple and needs nothing else. Amazing device and app. Would recommend!!!!!

I bought this item for very little cost. Downloaded Soulear and was very surprised at the quality of this images it produced. I have a background in app development so I understand the whole connection thing. I'm able to take pictures and videos of the ear and store them. I love it!

The ear video otoscope contains a WiFi transceiver. It broadcasts an SSID of this app-xxxx which you join your phone to. You don’t have to go any further than that. The this app WiFi mini network now just contains the otoscope and your phone. That’s it; no other devices. This little network can’t even connect to the Internet and you can see that in your phone’s Settings app. It transfers video on this tiny network between Soulear and the otoscope. You can save pictures locally through Soulear if you want.

There is no nefarious activity to be seen here. Stand down from Red Alert. It is a simple, reasonably conceived app which performs its function well during my use.

Downloaded via QR code that accompanied Otoscope with Light that was part of an Amazon-purchased Electric Ear Wax Removal Irrigation Kit.
this app allowed me to view the otoscope’s image. Worked great.

It was easy to connect. I could see everything and was able to get out a giant clump of ear wax. I can hear colors now! Best purchase ever.

There are a lot of stupid reviews for Soulear. Soulear requests access to NO DATA according to its app store entitlements. The "local network devices" it's trying to contact? Yeah, that's the wifi probe you are sticking into your brainless head. It is generally wise to be suspicious of Chinese software, but this is completely above board.

Does exactly what it claims to do. It's simple to use and really works well.
