First day I opened the box I tried it got a pink circle never even seen the device work so I charged it to see if I could get a different response even closed and open my phone deleted EndscopeTool 3 times and reinstalled turn on and off the device multiple times all ended with the same result a pink circle I don’t know if mines is defective or if it got broken along the way but if this is it don’t by waste of money very disappointing

Basically the title. Every time I go to use it, it turns itself off. It's fully charged, I know I'm not pressing the power button because I've watched it simply turn off on its own. If anyone has a fix I'd love to hear it, cuz otherwise this would be 4 stars.

If you agree to the privacy statement on EndscopeTool, you’re giving developers access to your personal information, ID/license info, biometric data, bank account number, location and whereabouts, and other information for individuals under 14 years of age. You’re also giving it access to your camera and your photos. If you’re okay with that, you’re STUPID.

Don’t download this or following its instructions. It’s weird that they ask you to join a specific WiFi instead of just using Bluetooth technology. The privacy act also talks about all the reasons they’d be allowed to collect data. I don’t trust EndscopeTool or technology at all! Right after downloading it and attempting to use the product my household WiFi (that my phone is normally connected to) was giving me privacy warnings. That something was collecting information. Too sketchy.

Shouldn't come as a surprise. App wants you to agree to terms & conditions that include access to your data including banking info, ID & content of persons under the age of 14!? Has to connect through password protected wifi so you are giving them access to that too.
Of course didn't know any of this until package was delivered and following directions to use the ear camera. Used a wiped out iphone that has nothing on it they could get (hypothetically) & didnt work anyway. Would not connect & kept me in the loop of direction on “how to connect”

Tried many times but never got it to work. Even when the wifi was connected the start button just brought up the wifi connect screen.

Why would this have to be connected they Wi-Fi? Who does that? Bluetooth should be its way of getting the image to my phone. No way my security on my phone would let me do anything with this Wi-Fi? That doesn’t make any sense. It’s unsecured no way to change security settings. Nice thanks for wasting my time my money dont get it’s up to something!!

I enjoyed using the device up until the last update.
My only issue would have been the light is not as bright as some competitors.

However the last update did anything but optimize my battery. Now I get half the use time, and an annoying pop up telling me to charge for further use.

While there is still one bar of battery left the pop up will not allow further use until recharging.
Really annoying now!

I just received my earwax removal tool and downloaded EndscopeTool . I can connect to the soft-xxxx with no problem, but when I then return to EndscopeTool and press start, it takes me to the screen to connect to the wifi. When I follow the link, I find I am still connected, but there is no internet connection. This happens on both my Apple iPad as well as my black view android smart phone. Any suggestions anyone?

It used to work great, but now the video freezes for 10 seconds at a time while using it, making the tool completely useless. Maybe it’s an issue with the device, but I’m wondering if it wasn’t updated for newer versions of iOS.

I’ve tried everything to connect to the internal wifi on the device. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, shutdown and started back up, charged fully, still nothing. Sending it back for another tool which hopefully will work.

Only giving it 4 instead of 5 because it’s not easy to use the tool in general. I wish the scoop handle was a smidge shorter so camera could get deeper. But. But. It works. And works reliably. So I’m happy.

It honestly works fine, people just need to read the instruction manual. You have to connect to a specific network for the thing and then it will work.

I understand why previous reviewers said it doesn’t work because the functionality is strange. I almost gave up before I found the instruction manual hidden behind the plastic insert. Basically the phone has to connect to the wifi that’s specific to the device (kind of like connecting to Bluetooth). Once you get past that stage, it should work. That said, it’s definitely a non conventional approach so it can be a bit disorienting. Hope this helps any new users!

I had to go in and out of my Wi-Fi settings a few times and got a connection and camera view. Really cool to see what’s in your ear. I found a candle.

I can finally see with clarity anything I need to! The only thing is it’s hard to move it in a certain path. Even switching it still makes it confusing. But it takes extremely great photos. I just wish I could find the photos in my iPhone photos. It’s easy to use and works great. I love this tool and app!

It takes like 3 or 4 minutes till it finally shows the camera even when its connected from wifi. But all in all it works pretty good

I got this tool a month ago and so far it has worked very well. There are several different tips that come with it, so you can switch them for the different things for which you use it. It’s a very cool tool, I have recommended it to my family.

There are a lot of complaints about how to connect. Just read the manual. It’s a really good app that’s kept simple and easy to use.

The directions are clear if you have patience and read through them. And, there is a facts section in the instructions that helps tremendously. Once connected it stays connected as long as it’s on.
When on, the picture is very clear and can be recorded. I wish there was a way to save the video to photos. I’ll investigate further.

App is 100% working, you need to hold the power button, and go to your phone’s WiFi to connect it. I didn’t know my ear is that dirty.

Disregard the other reviews except for Imthediscospanic. You connect your phone or tablet to this device's built in WI-FI. This is in place of connecting to Bluetooth. Read the manual people. You connect your phone to "softish-XXXX". Do that and boom it works.

EndscopeTool works great for me. Just power on the tool, turn on your WiFi and under your settings connect to the tool. Should be labeled “scotfish-XXXX” (X’s being numbers). Then open EndscopeTool and click start. Opens the camera right up. Was surprised with the clarity. Thanks!

I just received my endoscopic tool.
Following the directions, I charged it, turned it on, connected to WiFi and was looking at my eardrum within just a few minutes.
Excellent visualization.
I love the gel tip…works great removing wax.

Not sure what issue the other reviewers had, but this works really well for us! The camera is clear and the tool allows you to easily remove the wax you find.

Wifi popped up easily, have to disconnect from home wifi and use cellular data to use app. The device cane charged and I was able to use it immediately. This is so cool!

If you’re having trouble getting it to work after you connect to it’s wifi, look up EndscopeTool in your iPhone settings and click allow local networks.
