I received a this app AeroLight A150SE with the E25 controller to work with VIVOSUN.

As soon as I received it I set it up and tested it to be sure it worked, because it is supposed to only connect to 2.4 GHz.

It connected fine, on my iPhone 14 pro Max. It operated the fan and light correctly.

However I purchased the iPhone 16 pro Max, and it no longer connects.

I contacted this app, and the kept telling me that it is the wifi that is wrong.

But it isn't.

My wifi comes from fiber optics and it outputs both 2.4 and 5 ghz signals simultaneously.

Which is why it worked before.

Why it doesn't work not is the question.

It could be that the iPhone 16 has an issue or not.

Just thought anyone with an iPhone 16 should check to be sure it works on their wifi.

I will probably have to return it if I don't get it working quickly.

Because without the controller, the light works at only 100% on, and the only way to turn it on is to plug it in, and to turn it off is to unplug it.

Doesn't sound like a good way control a light.

My suggestion is to get VIVOSUN up to modern times.

New apps should not be limited to 1990s technology.

It is possible to connect the ventilation system, light, humidifier, etc. to VIVOSUN . The problem is that even though they show up, and allow you to adjust programming within VIVOSUN , it doesn’t apply the settings reliably at all. For example, no matter how many times I set my light schedule for 5a-10p, it just runs its own schedule starting at 10a. I set the cycle for the humidifier, it doesn’t run its own schedule and constantly says it’s out of sync. VIVOSUN offers some cool features, but it’s frustrating when they are effectively executed as intended.

It does what it needs to do I guess just wish it would allow for more customization like AC Infinity app. Like this app doesn’t let you change the sunrise/sunset, the way they have it goes from 0-100% in 7 min which doesn’t make sense. And my biggest gripe is you can’t buffer the temps in “auto” so every 1-2min it turns on then off then on and so on. Where as other apps let you pad it a few degrees so it takes alil more time to kick on.

But there hasn’t been any new features except when there is a new product and the stupid journals instead of optimizing and adding quality of life improvements for the actual functions

We need more customization or I’m just going to switch controllers which is dumb because VIVOSUN would be great if they were more motivated to give us more options

The instructions provided are minimal at best. An item was missing from my order. The company lacked urgency in responding so I had to go buy the piece myself. Which is sad in my opinion when you spend over 600$ on stuff. My biggest gripe is the lack of response from the CS team. I’ve had 4 interactions and all 4 were poor at best. Be prepared the Growhub is very challenging to get set up. Took me several attempts over 2 days.

I love VIVOSUN and how everything connects seamlessly, I only have a few gripes when it comes to configuration. Specifically speaking about the VGrow, configuring the duct fan settings I would like to have the ability to change fan curve speeds at a given temperature and/or humidity (being able to control both is crucial imo). When I use the humidifier that is recommended for the VGrow the automatic switch feature does not work which leads to humidity spikes during lights off—also the mist control setting seems to not have an impact regardless of what level I put it on.

I absolutely love the tents and all the equipment from this app - great quality products!
VIVOSUN has been a tiny bit difficult as far as setting the auto cycles. Sometimes it won’t register at all what intensity I’m trying to set the exhaust fan at. I’ve been trying to set it at auto with an intensity of 6 - but for some reason the fan only wants to be at a 4.

And the recipes are rather tricky to play around with also. I tried to set start and end times for new recipes, but they would ignore my times and start everything at midnight…so I’m not going to mess with recipes right now. I’m home almost all day every day so I can monitor it for now. It would be the absolute best app without these glitches. Hopefully they can do an update soon that allows VIVOSUN to communicate with the brain more efficiently.

Definitely Game Changer For me i would give it 10 Stars if I could, Only problem I have is now when I refresh to check Temps App says trying connect to Hydrometer when it’s already connected & data sheet is gone,
but other than that Very Great experience with it Love it a lot Helps me stay on track hope Anyone :)

I started growing a few months ago and everything I’ve purchased arrives packaged very neatly and in working order! So far I love all of my equipment! Wish I would’ve joined the rewards club when I first started buying everything! Great products and always innovative!

After installing the SGS, I can not imagine growing without it. Not the lazy way, the smart way. I can keep track of every aspect of my grow and document it easily all from my phone. I do wish I could instal my humidifier via the controller. But that’s a not a big deal at all. Thanks this app for the great product. It made a me a better gardener.

VIVOSUN is super easy to use and keep track of all your growing plants at the touch of your finger with your phone anywhere you are. Adjustable humidity levels and temperature with fans and humidifier get the camera you can look at your plants in real time plus take videos and time lapse. The cam will be my next purchase for sure.

Overall great products providing an awesome experience ! The growhub makes life easier for someone who has to work all day allowing me to make adjustments to my environment and my equipment from my phone. I’ve got the aero light a100 with spectrum tuning and built in fan so I can change the light spectrum for each stage of growth while providing ample airflow over my plant. The exhaust fan works amazing. When humidity creeps up a little high it pulls the air out of the tent immediately. And the clip on fan is great too with the natural wind setting. All of it with affordable pricing for us that don’t have deep pockets but want quality gear !!

Super easy to use, love that I can take it anywhere and still watch over my grow, that has been a game changer for me. I really love the layout and the way you adjust the parameters (that little clock is super handy) and I love the alert system. Totally has changed the way I grow! Highly recommend VIVOSUN to anyone who is trying to be a better grower.

I have no complaints regarding the quality or functionality of VIVOSUN. It is easy to use and navigate. It offers a ton of features that make growing anything extremely easy. The connectivity to all the other equipment is seamless. Nothing but positive things to say about this app. I will without a doubt continue to use their products.

The success I have had since getting my this app system - especially VIVOSUN has completely had the most impact on the success of my grows of everything other than good nutrients. VIVOSUN makes it so easy to track when to feed, water, trim and even just to monitor and regulate my environment, you’d almost have to try to fail.
I can’t wait to expand my setup and my garden!

The ability to control my environment all in one app is fantastic! You can change the spectrum of your AeroLight and the VSFD bar light, change your fan speeds and times they run for the AeroWave, and keep your temperature and humidity in check with full control of the AeroZesh smart inline fan. The E42 GrowHub is a wonderful device to keep my environment in check. If you don’t need a hub outside of your grow they offer the E25 GrowHub wireless dongle. The grow hub has been a very valuable tool in managing my indoor garden! The entire this app ecosystem is extremely easy to integrate with itself. The journal feature is extremely useful and intuitive. I own their tents, lights, controllers and fans. And have some of their new equipment on preorder! All are great quality for the price!
The only suggestion I would like to make would be to have a website that could be accessible for other users to view other users parameters.
All in all, great products and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!

this app has done an excellent job of predicting what is needed to germinate vegetate grow harvest what EVER U WANT! The tents the quality of the paint on the hardware ! The instructions! The packaging ! The PRECISE fitting and premo quality ZIPPERS! Now let’s get into the lights offered! There function and compatability ! MIX and ADD this app products ! Your PHONE is all u need to check on the plants /tents interior and exterior condition! I have a 4x4 and a 4x8 I would STRONGLY recommend placing 2 inch PINK foam board under your tent ! U will Have NO issues should your basement become wet after heavy rains ! Keep exterior canvas dry ! I will buy only this app! Get growing

I have been using VIVOSUN with my this app Smartgrow for 5 months now. For being a fairly new app it functions really well. I have had a few times when opening VIVOSUN that I struggled to see the temp or humidity inside my tent but I believe this was due to my wifi not VIVOSUN . Only other issue I have had is for about 1-2 days three months ago I couldn’t get it to save my “recipes” but very quickly this was no longer happening. I have been very impressed at how quickly things are corrected in VIVOSUN if they are not functioning correctly. Great system & a great app. Thank you!

Only complaints with VIVOSUN are

The lack of ability to add notes in the weekly view of your parameters.

Would be nice to be able to adjust the ramp speed of the exhaust fan when set to auto mode.
